Solar Mango

Ok so, it starts off as straight up photorealistic JUICY RIPE mango, freshly cut, and that's the opening for a good while. Of beautiful quality. Then it starts drying down onto a scent that's rather similar to Radiant Vanilla, also of Zara, so imagine creamy vanilla, but a light cream, with the same solar notes that make radiant vanilla so special, together with the fresh touch of a white floral. In the end, it's basically Radiant Vanilla with Mango added on top, making it a tad bit more fruity and tropical, but just as bright, beachy and creamy as Radiant Vanilla. If you have one, you don't need the other, unless you REALLY want the mango touch on top of it. And I'm saying this as an OBSESSED Radiant Vanilla owner.

I went to Zara and just decided to smell the perfumes by chance, when I tried this one I was surprised because it was something so unusual and unique, itt brought me memories from my childhood in Brazil eating mango “sacolé”. The fruit smell is very intense, it really brings you to an open air fruit market with the sweet smell of mangos in a sunny afternoon. I just new I had to buy it. It is something more summer/spring, but I just found it in atum and I am wearing it nonstop anyway:D 2 people at work mentioned I smell good and fresh when I was wearing it, so the silage is good, and also stays for a good time, so it is good quality for the price.

I love this! Delicious realistic mango. But does not last :/ Might buy it anyway because I've been looking for a mango fragrance. I think like with any summer fruits, unless you have something potent to hold it in it will be fleeting. Might buy it anyway as it's cheap enough, and I'm usually not a fan of whatever the perfume uses to hold things in as it tends to be more of a cold weather note....I guess you can't have it all. Try this out if you're a mango lover it is a fleeting delicious alphonso mango sorbet. Lasts about that long too.

To continue on my initial feedback, just wanted to add that I just walked out of Zara and I’m sorry, whoever is saying this smells like For Him Solar edition also from Zara is lying. Don’t waste your time if you think it’ll be a more cost effective offering from Zara. For Him Solar Edition is a way more ambery, almost Smokey, and woody take on a mango. No juiciness, no ripe mango. Solar mango is way brighter, photorealistic ripe mango, juicy and gets solar and summery as it dries down. They’re literally not similar at all

Such a good sweet, juicy, fruity summer fragrance! As others have said, it's a very realistic, tasty mango smell, not synthetic at all. I like to layer it with JHAG Sunny Side Up to boost the coconut and sandalwood notes. Doesn't last long but I'm going to douse myself in it this summer. Kind of wish it came in a 100ml bottle tbh.

Not what I expected but it does smell like mongos but not a sweet ripe mango more artificial. It’s smells like weed and mongos that is what I get from this. When I bought this it was a blind buy and I expected juicy ripe sweet mango. If you’ve smelt marshmallow addiction then I think this is what solar mango should smell like.

Such a lovely, photorealistic juicy Mango fragrance! It's very linear and does exactly what it says on the bottle. It lasted around 2 hours on me, but it's still worth the money. I find the bottle size nice, because I live in a place with short summers so I won't be going into the winter with a huge amount of it left.

this is the mangoest mango mango i've ever mangoed in the history of mangini. in true zara fashion it only lasts like five minutes but in that time it is a juicy, sweet, rich, and photorealistic mango scent—just like the giant ones at the tropical fruit stalls. 9.5/10

New addiction 🥭 the opening has this beautiful, juicy mango note. It reminds me of mango gummies. The dry down still has a slight hint of mango, but the jasmine starts to stand out and it gives such a creamy vibe to the fragrance. I love it so much 🧡

Bought another Mango Skin dupe and it didn't smell anything like Solar Mango, so I just had to buy two bottles of Solar Mango, and boy I don't regret it A SINGLE BIT. What a beautiful scent. I wish they did a 100ml bottle of it.

Get your mangoes out ladies of London it'll be 24 degrees tomorrow. I know what I will be wearing! I love this one, such a fun juicy summery frag. Definitely realistic alphonso mango and lasts on me just right.

Not long lasting??? I sprayed it in the evening, woke up in the morning and lifting my arm to my nose I can still smell it! 🥭🥭🥭💯💯💯 it is gorg. Mango, in times going into Erba Pura land, but more sweet. A must.

Its such a fresh juicy mango without being overly sweet, perfect for summer. It has a refreshing yet slightly creamy feel to it in the drydown. Sillage and longevity are pretty good on lotioned skin !!

this is GOOD GOOD. juicy ripe mango in the opening and then it dries down into a smooth coconutty beachy vanilla. Perfect summer scent, absolutely divine!!!

Photorealistic mango with a creamy coconutty dry down warmed up by jasmine. Layered with Hibiscus this is incredible for summer but on its own it's amazing

I don't smell any rot, it's actually a very juicy mango, maybe it's the sandalwood that's confusing you, too bad it doesn't last long

A great creamy coconut-mango fragrance that keeps the mango present throughout the wear. I seriously can’t tell how long it lasts, though. I may have to ask someone else, because I cannot tell if I go nose blind to it very quickly or if it is actually quiet. I smelled it on my shirt two days after wearing it, which genuinely shocked me while doing laundry, so perhaps I have been choking every room I enter with this creamy mango scent without realizing it. When I first bought it two weeks ago, I thought it was much more one-dimensional than I do now. Smelling it again, I get a lot more coconut about 30 minutes after application than I did when it was freshly sprayed. The opening is very mango-forward, but the drydown becomes creamier and more coconut-heavy while still keeping that mango thread alive. Overall, it is nice. It feels like an easy dumb reach for summer, especially for something like a beach outing. I can completely imagine wearing this to play beach volleyball. It has that casual, sunny, creamy-fruity thing going on. That said, it still feels like something is missing. The fruitiness needs a stronger anchor. I do not think the sandalwood grounds it enough to make it feel complete or complex, at least not enough for me to reach for it constantly. It is pleasant and very wearable, but a little too linearly fruity for my taste. I think this would layer really well with a spicy vanilla, maybe something with saffron or a warmer woody base. On its own, it is a very nice creamy mango-coconut summer scent. I just wish it had a bit more depth underneath all the fruit.

This is crazy, but this smells like when you blow out a Christmas piney candle and you get that burnt, waxy, pine smell. Maybe even a faint smell of plastic wafting from the toys youve freshly opened. Anyone saying it's just a one dimensional mango scent is kind of, crazy? This starts out juicy and sweet but turns green. Its definitely not like a body mist at all. Also nothing "creamy" about it. Just very very sweet burnt pine covered in mango syrup. The perfume "Mango skin" that it's being compared to is sour and in my opinion smells a bit like BO... This isn't even remotely sour, nor tart, and doesn't resemble that fragrance at all. I could see someone thinking this smells like actual mango skin. Because that piney greenness could resemble the green smell of mango skin... Longevity is eternal. Edit: months later now ..I'm gonna sell it. It gives me a headache and makes me feel nauseous.

For the price, this fills my need for a summer mango fragrance. It’s a note I crave and didn’t have any options for. Would I recommend anyone runs to buy it? Eh. A warm, beachy coconut with a nice mango note. Note sure why coconut isn’t listed here, but is one of the four main notes on their site. I would say there’s absolutely no jasmine here. Sandlewood is there in the dry down, but it’s a dry, warm sandalwood. Not Smokey or spicey in my opinion. I’ll admit I can be pretty nose blind to aldehydes. I can feel it distantly if I really try while giving it a sniff for the “solar” note. I wish they did something more ozonic. If you have anything remotely similar, you don’t need this. If you’re like me and think this could fill a simple niche in your shelf for summer, worth the price. It’s simple, but good.

I'll start by saying I'm very positively surprised with the longevity of this. It's the first fruity Zara perfume I've tried that actually surpasses the 6 hour mark whilst maintaining the fruit smell/essence. It's a very sweet mango scent. If you were wondering what gourmand is appropriate for spring and summer daywear, this really might be it. It might be headache inducing if sprayed too strongly because there's something almost cloying (maybe synthetic?) to it, but it's a very fun, refreshing and playful feminine fragrance for Spring-Summer. Might still get a bottle for casual beach days. Great price point for this longevity on a fruit scent, too. It's a very well-done fragrance and I hope they don't discontinue this one.

Returning to say I do love the dry down. It’s very warm and creamy. However, the opening physically hurts me. I don’t mean it smells bad, it’s pretty much juicy mango sunscreen on first spray which is pleasant. It actually seems to make my eyes itch and throat clog, which I’ve literally never experienced from a fragrance before. I don’t have seasonal allergies (or any allergies that I know of.) Very strange. I’ve resorted to only spraying it on my pants, but I stopped reaching for it. I guess if you’re even slightly sensitive to fragrances or have any allergies at all steer clear.

Hmmmm...very, very ripe, juicy mango not sweet, but green,fresh and photorealistic. Actually i like it, its really good for mornings and for layering.This parfum have vary poor sillage, it becomes quickly very close to skin, but the longevity is very good more than 10 hours.,bit anyway you can barely smell it. I will layer with Akro Rise and i will walking around like fresh, juicy, ripe fruit :)

This opens with a big juicy mango fragrance, like a high definition Solero at 150% zoom. An hour later: skin level scent. For a tenner, it’s not the worst...but it sets you up for mango excitement and then disappoints. Edit: this is a nice scent for the first few minutes and then it essentially disappears on me. Disappointing. I’m giving it to a friend.

On it's own, it's too linear for me, but when I layer with Bronze Summer from Oakcha, which is suppose to be a dupe for Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. It does come alive 💕

Smells like a juicy ripe mango in the best way possible. Very escada-esq - has that tropical fruity DNA so if you are an escada fan you might really like this.

I don’t understand the reviews saying this is a skin scent? it’s a beast

You can smell it on your skin 1-2 hours after spraying. On clothes + 2 hours. I was really invested, because I was thinking of a ripe juicy tropical mango, but I think this mango fruitiness goes away after 1:30-2 hours, and it gives a solar sunny vibe, with a coconut milky summer scent. I feel the wood in there too. Unpopular opinion, this coconut milky vibe reminds me a lot of the same milky vibe of the zadig and Voltaire this is her milkiness. For the price is okay, but for summer or a vacay fragrance that you need to reapply constantly it does not look that convenient. Also after hours, like 12, I was thinking that the fragrance was off of me, I woke up smelling a mango fruitiness, like a more over powering ripe mango body mist. For layering with other fragrances is cool.

I got excited by all the comments and went to try it, but honestly, it was a disappointment. It’s a really simple scent and probably smells just like any mango body spray you can find anywhere. The mango note is basic, flat, and kind of one-dimensional. There’s nothing creamy or complex about it. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely not exciting either.

As it happens so often with Zara fragrances, interesting but not long lasting, intense or complex. Mango juice vibes.

It opened with such promise, one of the best mangoes I've smelled. But within 30 minutes a base note emerged that made me feel ill, and by the time I got home I had to scrub it off. Vigorously. I couldn't tell you whether it's the coconut, the jasmine or the sandalwood, but whatever it is, it doesn't agree with me at all.

The opening is a nice bright mango nothing crazy but it’s good, the dry down though is absolutely disgusting. It smells like a musty cat coughball on the dry down and it lasts really well

This is really a very pleasant fragrance and it will be part of my summer layering combo but the performance is not great. It doesn't smell like "just" mango and the profile is sweet, slightly creamy, fruity and refreshing. Since a 50ml is just $30~, I wouldn't cry too much about the performance, but it is pretty ephemeral

The opening reminds me so much of monsters energy “mango loco” please tell me i’m not the only one 😭 i love it tho . Longevity 2-3 hours on skin but oh well...

Unfortunately it doesnt last at all on my skin . I layer it with mango from body shop and still after 10 min i smell nothing . Was a waste of money

On paper realistic mango, on skin? Rotten mango... The dry down gets better but it's a no from me. The other two are much better
