Spirited Romance (Into The Floral)

Edwardian rose in the midst of a clean floral bouquet. Graceful and bon ton. Such a clean floral! The rose in this is like never before in other Zara fragrances, because is not modern at all, or similar to the Jo Malone but very delicate, clean and antiqued. I would not say it is properly soapy but it is clean and detergent like, like an apothecary shower gel, but with an old allure about it. The presence of bergamot is strong and remains intertwined with all the floral notes. It is a linear fragrance, without evolution but with many facets given by the rich floral bouquet. The most strong presence in the floral hearth are those of honeysuckle, hyacinth and rose. Of this flowers their most clean, gentle and transperent nature was taken, no sweetness, no honey like carachter, no pollen, no indols. And no greenery and stem either. It is pure and etherial, fresh and graceful. I would say it is a very good companion for Zara Waterlilly Tea Dress, it has the same allure, picnic in the valley between flowers and dew during spring. Iris is but a touch and with the white musk it somewhat offers a base on which the crystal like flower's petals float. It is very romantic, and bon ton. I like it! For reference I can say it is somewhat similar to the beautiful Dior J'adore Parfum d'Eau (the new water based one in pure diaphanous white bottle).

Oh, I love this one so much--I'm very much a white floral lover, honeysuckle notes especially are so gorgeous and nostalgic. When I smell this out of the bottle, it's so light, aquatic, and ethereal. I'm not sure what gives it that aquatic vibe, because I honestly mostly smell the honeysuckle, hyacinth, and super subtle rose, but the combination ends up being fresh, clean, and bright, a bit soapy. On the skin, it has a musky start, but then melds really nicely with my chemistry and it makes me smell like I've perpetually just showered with a light, floral shampoo/body wash, or like I'm in a sundress with a string of white flowers in my hair. Lots of people on here say that it barely lasts, but I've gotten a good 8-9 hours when I put this on right out of the shower, paired with deodorant and body lotion! The price is amazing--I was able to snag a giant 100ml bottle for half price, only $19 or so while it was on sale, but only the big size was available. Risky blind buy, but it paid off!

musky, soft and clean with a dash of iris powderiness. it also has a bit of ''oily'' feel, but clean ''oily'' not dirty/animalic... which reminded me a bit of Nivea cream. this is an easy perfume to wear and layer, of course, unless you hate musky scents.

This one smells neither like Nivea, nor like J'adore, and general not like anything in the "reminds me of section". It does smell exactly like the IKEA candles "Lugga". It's powdery, cozy, comforting, cool, a fabulous cheapie.

Definitely the scent of Nivea Body lotion/cream. Soft and clean. A must for those who like cosmetics/body cream scents without getting your hands oily .

Very pretty. Clean rose, musk and hyacint. Like the cleanest clean with a stll interesting floralcy.

I bought this blind. I can see why the Nivea cream was mentioned by others. It's the vanguard note to hit on first spray. I was, I admit, dismayed. then, things get more interesting as skin warms it up. There's a mucky and deliciouslt subversive rose and musk undercurrent, which is very appealing and smells like an awful lot more than £8.99 in Zara's sale! The hyacinth keeps things reasonably wholesome, but on me at least there was a depth , and dare I say, sexiness, I did not expect from this. I'd buy it again, really nice once you get past that first spray

I spent days wondering what this reminds me of and why I'm so drawn to it and then it hit me - it smells EXACTLY like the classic Nivea deodorant/creme. It's very nostalgic, clean, cozy and calming. Whoever is naming Zara fragrances is doing a pretty terrible job, sorry - "spirited romance" is the last thing on my mind when I smell this. It's more like a warm hug from your mom.

Yes, this is kind of like if Nivea in the blue tub was made into a very perfumy shampoo. It's a very clean and pleasant scent, kind of the white cashmere aura, but it has a bit of a screech, too. I'll probably shelve it until the spring. I think this is very daytime and would be office-appropriate if worn UNDER the clothes to give off the soft, "fresh" vibes.

It's a clean white floral scent on a paper. Yeah, something like that. It's not offensive, it's beautiful scent, it's pretty clean for office day. I recommend to layering it with some enhancer fragrance, either from Zara itself or another brand.

Sorry for those who don't agree, but this is straight up Nivea, the original in blue packaging. Reminds me of childhood memories cause my mom always had a Nivea cream in the bathroom. I love this sent, it's clean, soft, inoffensive.

This is such a pretty, gorgeous floral. Nothing screechy, very well-blended.

Smells like nothing listed above. Very clean smell, so clean it gives me laundry power vibes. Nivea? Nope. Not my thing tbh, glad I got small bottle and on sale - need to stop blind buying cheapies. Fades away after 1-2h, but the opening is somehow very strong and "scratchy". Edit: tried this second day in a row - this does not get better. But it is prolly best thing to keep me away from blind buys of those Zara's cheap fragrances :D

This is not my normal bag. An aquatic, rather than powdery white floral - which is maybe why people are describing it as oily or creamy, because there is a wetness about it due to the watery notes. I mean, it's fine. A bit of bergamot and watery notes on top, white flowers in the center, clean musk at the base. There are loads of perfumes like this. It's dull, but not offensive. Someone in the office named Sarah or Kate probably wears this with a white shirt and grey slacks. It lasts an hour or two. I guess "Spiritless Romance" is not a commercial name.

jesus christ, this is a mess. "it smells like nivea" no it does not lmao. it smells like deodorant spray! 2-3 hour wear. dry down: it gets a taaaad bit better, even though it smells like a box of crayons mixed with baby wipes. spirited romance also reminded me of Zara's previous releases: "energy vibes" and "waterlily teadress"... i hated those as well. it was on sale, i was curious and that is my own fault. guys, don't be dumb like me and base your blind buys off fragrantica comments.

Resonating with previous reviews that it is a Nivea in a perfume version. Clean. Versatile. Sharp powdery (NOT iris/orris) floral. Sharpness can be perceived to be screechy. I don't think people will hate it, but it's not something I would reach for either. Personally if there was a contrasting note, this would be a very good twist to the hand cream that we are familiar with.

Oh no this is definitely not for me. I like the idea of something smelling like a nice creamy lotion but for me, this just smells like Norsca deodorant. And it's super strong too... This one is a scrubber for me.
