I would say this is what Invictus should have been. Aqua too. Invictus is a bit too sweet for the summer. Aqua is too fresh, zesty, where yuzu note is overly strong. This one is like eye of the storm of the huricane called Invictus. It starts so smooth like Invictus intense, smels fresh but not as zesty as Acqua and doesn't have that sharp yuzu opening. After 15 mins it smells like Aqua dry down but not in your face, again, more aquatic and calm. For the first time you get that core Invictus smell without in your face strength, not overly sweet, not overly zesty, not too fresh... rather, it has all those aspects but done just right. Not too much of anything and for the first time I can smell that aquatic note. Well made and quite enjoyable. I think that the gentle and way more pleasant sweetness in this one comes from sandalwood, which is a very smooth and light version of sweet and it is what separates this from Invictus and other clones. Get two bottles of this if you like Invictus or Aqua and would love to save it or if every Invictus had something you didn't like. Something that bothered you. This is Invictus done right. Lasts 6-7 hours, projects okay but do heavy sprays. Again, get it if sweetness bothered you, if in your face bothered you, if beast mode longevity bothered you, if synthetic bothered you, if zesty yuzu bothered you, if you never felt any Invictus was just right for the summer... This one, it surely is. Honestly, a perfect and youthful summer frag that anyone can wear without offending others around you because it has toned down everything Invictus line has that annoyed others if applied heavily. NOTE: This smells identical to Zara Seoul Summer just 1% less sweet and a bit weaker.

Very nice modern summer scent. It's a bit juvenile for me(I'm 33yo) but I really like it for what it is. Would work better for guys under 25. Not a masterpiece or anything like that, but is a very pleasent and energising scent with awesome performances on my skin. I tested it side by side with ADG Profumo and Aqva Amara. Easily outperformed both of those two fragrances. I never tried Invictus Aqua, but smells exactly how I would expect that one to smell. Reminds me a bit of that shower gel vibe of Dylan Blue and Aqva Atlantic. It's available in Europe for about 13 euros, but Zara use to discontinue their fragrances very quickly. The DAY Collection is already gone from the shops. So, If you like it, now is the time to get it.

i just love this fragrance.. best Invictus aqua clone at such a cheap rate[from zara].. It works better with my skin and thts so important in choosing fragrance.. coz how good fragrance on paper if it doesnt go right on ur skin then it's worthless.. It wont annoy in super high humid condition too.. Performance is less so just go high on trigger and after oversprayed even ur nose wont mind either.. It just works in all places gym, sports, casual, evening anytime in summer.. In daytime just go high on trigger.. Summer is coming and if u can find it then just go for it.. Big thumbs up from me..

Another Invictus-like jus but with one very distinct difference: no lavender, which means it is fresher, brighter, no metallic notes. Perfect for summer, though it can be worn all year. Close to ZARA Mundaka which also lacks lavender. Both are closely related to ZARA Waimea, which vetiver in the base versus sandalwood, cedar or amber.

As of end of the june 2018 this is no longer available. Will it come back, i doubt it. It was on sale and everything that zara puts on sale is usually gone forever. Too bad because in the sea of shitty frags that they keep in their all time rotation, this one should have been kept.

Agree with Simpa25's review. It's Invictus Aqua with it's edges rounded. Smoother, easier to wear. Really enjoyed it and got great longevity. easy on the trigger though, projects better than expected.

It's definitely worth the price. It has that acquatic fresh smell. It could be annoying if you wear it indoors. Otherwise, it's perfect summer scent.

I wonder why most females disliked this fragrance in the reviewers at the top, I find it subtle and overall likeable.

I blind bought this because I lived in Tahiti for almost four years during my early 20s and used to spend a lot of time at Teahupoo which was the most popular surf spot on Tahiti because there was no reef there so it was open ocean and got massive waves. Since then it’s become internationally famous on the pro surf circuit. In any case I was curious to see what Zara thought Teahupoo smells like. Dare I say the real place doesn’t smell like this. Others have mentioned the similarity with Invictus which, even back in the day when I had the disposable income to collect Creeds, I was never into. Zara Teahupoo has a very prominent “aquatic” note, clearly intended as a reference to surfing, and it’s this aquatic that persists through the drydown and dominates the composition. Seems weird if you think about - what does water smell like? It really should be called “oceanic” or something along those lines because it seems to be more about the sea than regular H2O type water. Yet having lived by the sea for most of my life it doesn’t actually smell anything like that either. Maybe it’s a hypothetical sea. Zara fragrances are clearly intended as inexpensive accessories and really aren’t too bad for the price. Nothing special or earth-shattering and not the kind of thing you’d go out of your way looking for, but if you stumble across Zara Teahupoo and need an inexpensive workout fragrance this stuff would be ideal.

Thanks for the heads up @Candyandy This is a superb summertime freshie. For 12,95€ it’s a no-brainer. As for most Zara dupe fragrances it’s a very safe choice and won’t offend anyone. Rather the opposite. Sillage and longevity are on the weaker side so you can apply more liberally or re-apply during the day without guilt. All notes are almost evenly performing for 2 hours except for the opening which is more of a grapefruit blast. Stays longer on my skin, though. Some have mentioned that it’s similar to Invictus aqua with the edges rounded. I agree on that, it’s somehow smoother and milder — a perfect “dumb reach” for hot days or after the gym. Maybe it will be gone soon again so I’m stocking up for summer, just in case 😁 Update 07/24/2021: now that I have gone through almost a whole bottle, I must say this hasn't aged very well. Not that it has gone bad or anything, but it's a different scent from when I bought it. The aquatic notes just aren't there anymore, it's now more of a sharp grape-lemony smell, like cleaning detergent, not the smooth, mild fragrance I mentioned above. Use it while you can.

I'll be brief. It's decent - better than Waimea and Pipeline IMO, and outperforms them too. The scent is a somewhat harsher and saltier version of Invictus Aqua 2016, dominated by those synthetic "marine notes" and a strange mix of citrus that mimics yuzu. That's right. I don't get grapefruit or bergamot - just an artificially aquatic and salty citrus accord that goes on forever on my skin. It's youthful, perhaps even juvenile, super soapy, and even a little annoying at times. But that's what gets your attention. It's like that attractive shirtless teenager that keeps bothering your daughter. You don't know if you want to befriend him, or punch him in the face. Maybe both. I dunno, I still can't make up my mind. But at this price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better clone of IVA 2016. MB Legend Spirit, Rasasi Hawas and even the new IVA are better overall scents, but this one outlasts them all, at half to a third of the cost. It's your choice. Scent - 7/10 Longevity - 9/10 Projection - 8/10 Overall - 7/10 - Zara - "Available for a limited time only."

I came across this at a Houston Zara store just after opening time to see if any interesting or new fragrances were in stock, knowing how fragrances carousel in and out of stock quickly. Teahupoo was one of three brand new fragrances just placed out for sale the day before, February 23th 2018. The others were Zara Sport 420 and Sport. This One, in person and on skin, had a nice airy salty Neroli vibe to it that my spray area kept deawing me towards as I browsed and sampled others on paper. I was really feeling the character and make up of the fresh forward citruses of its aroma, and along with the rare and out-of-stock Black Tag Intense EDP, I made the purchase. Upon trying my new bottle, seems it isn't living up to the high expectation felt at the store. Hmm. Kind of a dilemma but.... I still do like the fragrance. Also noticed it is not a beastly fragrance, but it's Zara. That would be par for the course. I can recommend it but just try to sample before purchasing in case you find it being a redundant purchase in your collection.

I got this in a pack along with Mundaka, both are very good "shower gel" smelling fragrances. Teahupoo is lighter smelling if that makes sense, the best way I can describe the smell is that it's like a fresh men's body wash. For what I use it for, which is in the gym, it is perfect. It is light and overall not a polarizing sent in the slightest, I doubt anyone will dislike this. At the same time it is not anything that will make heads turn. I spray this on 30 minutes before I head to the gym and it lasts and projects pretty good the whole time, keep in mind the gym is a perfect environment for a fragrance to project heavy. I finish my workouts in about an hour, at that point the fragrance is still there but not nearly as strong. I think the best use for this is to smell clean and fresh for a few hours. In my opinion it is well worth the $15 but I wouldn't consider using it as a daily driver.

Great scent, not much depth or natural smelling, but great nonetheless. Quite fresh, enough to wear in summer. Longevity and projection are truly amazing, one of the best of all fragrances I own. And that for a 'fresh' fragrance!

Back on the shelves! Very glad to see this back. Now also available in a 12ml travel spray which I love. I gave the full bottle to my boyfriend as I would never use all of it. Lasts 12+ hours easily.

Recently I got it and orange zest. Orange zest is better to me. Am I the only one who gets a bit jesmin type floral vibe? Anyways, It is for both male and female to my nose. Great for summer.

Its ok fragance but not even close to mont blanc or invictus Aqua to my nose. More like it says it smells like tea ..a Nice smelling tea

It's close to Invictus aqua, the 2016 realease. It lacks the yuzu opening tho.

I have a Zara store at my local mall that’s a 5 minute walk from my home. Being a serious collector of scents at this stage in my life, I have at least 30 scents from Zara amongst the many other amazing scents I have in my collection. I think it’s clear to say that Zara loves the invictus scent. The lot of you seem to think this is an invictus clone and I have to disagree strongly. There are many other Zara scents that do the invictus clone better, the Weekend series 3am and 8pm. The opening is the only part of this scent that is a little like invictus. Judging from the mass reviews, I also have to say that I do not like this. It’s not because of the smell, it’s because of the piss poor performance. It’s so bad that I have to spray extremely heavily to just achieve a 2 hour performance, and I strongly dislike doing that. This becomes a skin scent after 20 minutes, and the only way I can extend it longer is buy spraying heavily on my clothes. I went through half a bottle, just to get two hours in one day, let that sink in for a minute.There has clearly been a reformulation as the rest of you seem to think that this is Gods nectar. I can think of many other scents from Zara that do it way better in terms of performance. Vibrant leather oud, and the new vibrant leather cologne, not the perfume version. Another hidden gem is from Paris to New York which is an incredible Dior Homme 2013 dupe. If you like bergamot with aquatic notes, grab this, but don’t pay over 20 bucks for this one, or you will be sorely disappointed. This is a below average scent along with below average performance, I’m keeping it real here guys, and I love Zara scents. This is a 4/10 for me.

An absolutely horrid repulsive synthetic fragrance. However, I can see why young fragrance lovers' like this. It pretty much smells like most other premium priced designer fragrances and it costs much less. Now, at the same time, I kind of feel sorry for the younger generations that they have go through these horrible fragrances at the beginning of their fragrance journey. The only good thing about this fragrance is that it leaves more money for silly clothes in young people's pocket.

And just like that... as an early valentines gift in Feb 2019, they brought Teauphoo back on shelves. Also in a 12ml travel atomizer, Don't SLEEP on this one guys & gals! *Could be Reformulated, so performance may take a hit. But had a quick smell at the store...smells just like the OG.

Back on the Zara online store in Europe. 100ml bottle, looks the same as before. Mundaka is back as well. Not the double-pack of these two (yet?) though. Edit: the double pack of two 80ml bottles is also available now (early February 2020).

Just to get it clear, it is not a clone of Invictus aqua 2016 it is a pretty close copy of Invictus aqua 2018... sadly...

Like Invictus but more watery and light. Great Casual Fragrance for 3 hours.
