Terra Profonda Black Fig & Basil

I haven't tried Santal Greenery, but I do have a decant of Jungle Vibe. Is Zara Terra Profonda a dupe for Jungle Vibe? No. Are they similar? Definitely. Jungle Vibe opens with a much juicier, brighter citrus accord. Terra Profonda also has a fruity opening, but here it's all about creamy fig, without the citrus. In fact, the very first fragrance it reminded me of was Chloe Plage du Figuier. It has that same creamy, sun-warmed fig character. As it develops, it becomes more fig-ambery, and there's also a noticeable salty nuance that adds a subtle marine feel. The dry-down is slightly woody (cashmeran?), with a subtle salty touch, while the fig remains noticeable throughout. I'd say this fragrance is unisex, with a slight masculine lean. Check it out if you enjoy the fragrances mentioned above, as well as Sous Le Pont Mirabeau by ELDO or Mareld by Bjork & Berries.

Wooden Fig: If you are searching for a fresh fig, this is not for you. It opens very pleasantly, being quite woody with just a hint of fig. As other people have said, it's not really a fig scent; you can feel the basil, which stays in the background but always maintains a presence. Even though the wood is quite strong, it keeps a fresh profile. I would describe it as a deep, "freshy" fragrance. Performance is alright, it lasts like a normal Zara EDP. I hope they will release an elixir version (like the first one with Jo Malone), which will hopefully give a more figgy opening. As a general conclusion, I would say it's a chill fragrance. It has more character than the normal Zara line, but it's average in terms of extravagance or creativity, just like the other Jo Malone x Zara releases.

I love woody fig fragrances. Terra Profonda instantly reminds me of two well-known fragrances: Santal Greenery (fig + wood) and Womanity (salt + fig + wood). TP isn’t as bright, citrusy, or sweet, though. Salt and wood can sometimes come across as dirty, but Jo Malone really nailed it with this one. It’s very light and office appropriate. It’s also perfect for the transition into fall.

It’s lovely! A bit juicy, a bit dry. Very unisex and perfect for summer. The fig is perfectly there, the green notes and saltiness of it make it fresh. Compared to the rest, it’s less citrusy and more herbal to my nose. And weirdly enough (is it tho?) the drydown reminds me of Fashionably London which is beautiful :).

Very relaxing and calming scent. Can't really explain, it's very different than many other scents. Like a forest with pinetrees, when you walk on a bed of pineneedles beneath them, the ground a bit bouncy instead of hard. But instead of the pine note when you walk there, there's more of a herbal spa note.
