TOB/03 Tabac-Treasure

The Zara fragrances in these particular kind of bottles keep amazing me – not all of them that I’ve tried are up to my taste, per se, but they are all very great quality, long lasting, amazing perfumes in their own right. This one is definitely an amazing one as well, that I’m very impressed with. Tobacco Vanille might have been one of those fragrances that has always intrigued me, yet I have never been able to smell it. Now that I’ve tried this one, I know that I should not blind buy it, or even buy it at all. Not that this Zara fragrance hasn’t convinced me that Tobacco Vanille – which it seems to be reminiscent of, considering the votes here – isn’t an amazing smelling offering, the thing with Tobacco fragrances in my opinion is that the situations in which you can wear it might be a bit limited. It just screams ‘holiday season’ to me, and wearing this in spring or summer would be like wearing a Christmas sweater in those seasons: it might be comfortable as long as the weather isn’t too warm, but you’d probably look a bit crazy doing it. Nevertheless, this fragrance is amazing. It’s so cozy, so comforting. It’s masculine and very long lasting. It’s kind of sticky and oily on the skin, and after a good six hours or so, it’s definitely a skin scent, but even twelve hours later I can still smell it on my skin. And hey, for the price, I could definitely have reapplied if I wanted another boost. I can’t recommend it enough... even though it appears to have disappeared from the website. Knowing Zara, it might return, and I definitely hope that they will.

This is Christmas in a bottle in my opinion, this smells just like a polish Christmas drink "kompot z suszu", basically a compote made from dried fruits with spices, if you look up how it looks on google, you can imagine how this perfume smells. Tabac-Treasure opens with smoky dried fruits with clove, a big hit of sweet cinnamon, ginger and vanilla. As it settles, the darkness brought by the smokiness and clove settles down and the scent continues with the dried fruit on the main stage, but now more in a sweet candied way with vanilla and cinnamon. You can pick up the tonka and benzoin more now. When it dries down completely the dried fruits tone down and it becomes a very nice sugary vanilla, fruity, sweet tobacco and benzoin scent. This gets compared to Tom Fords Tobacco Vanille and I get the comparison but it's not a dupe. It takes all the best parts of TV and amps them up. Its less tobacco than TV but more vanilla, dried fruits, benzoin and ginger than TV. It's less harsh and synthetic, more sweet and fruity. The longevity is pretty good, i get about 8 hours from it. The sillage is also above average, it's not in-your-face but definitely noticeable by those around you.

love love love! this frag reminds me of my beloved Kiehl's vanilla & cedarwood discontinued frag. The smells sooo similar i simply have to grab seconds after smelling the sample in store. This is really how kiehls vanilla cedarwood smells like IMHO. I haven't get to smell TF TV yet so i cannot relate to it. The first spray smells of fresh cigar tobacco and melt down to smoky-vanilla scents similar to discontinued kiehl's one. Thank you zara for reviving my lovely kiehls vanilla&cedarwood frag. as someone lived in tropical country i dont see wearing this on hot weather a problem, it blends so well with the cigarette i smoke, the scent sticks on my sweaty skin for almost 12hrs (just like any other zara's), most of the time living in climate control building, so definitely can wear all year long!

This is super sweet, it can even be too cloying and syrupy/medicinal in the opening, but the drydown is amazing. Sort of reminds me of Spicebomb Extreme but with a ton more vanilla. I haven't smelled Tobacco Vanille so I can't give my opinion on that yet. Performance is shocking, especially since most Zara perfumes I've tried all faded away quicker than average. This though? Stays on my skin for a whole day, and the projection fades after maybe 6-7 hours, amazing. Perfect for chilly nights out. 4 sprays are probably enough as this is moderately strong. €9.99 on sale for 100ml, come on... no-brainer buy. Super satisfied with this purchase. Tabac-Treasure is a cheapie that's seriously worth having if you have no similar perfumes to this.

A perfume with a wonderful scent, high scent distribution and long lasting about 10-12 hours, the combination of cinnamon and tobacco and maybe dried fruits created a cherry scent for me and it smelled wonderful. This perfume got me on my knees the first time I smelled it inside the store. I am a sucker for smooth smells and the tobacco series from Zara is exactly that. It is a sweet, smoky, creamy and fruity scent that lasts so much longer than Rich Warm Addictive by Zara and the sillage is also good. You can smell the tobacco, the dried fruits, the ginger, tonca beans and vanilla. I top it over a vanilla mist and I like to overspray, but I wear this only in certain times of my cycle, because the sweetness is making me nauseous before and during my period. It is a great dupe for Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, but a hint more fruity.

Welp this is awesome. It is, indeed, smelling like Tobacco Vanille. But where Tobacco Vanille faded away pretty quickly when I tried it twice in the last few months, this stays on much better. Tobacco Vanille definitely smells higher quality, it definitely feels more expensive, it's hard to deny that. They're not in the same league. But I paid this 7.5 euros, Tobacco Vanille costs 355 euros. So, yeah, there's that. For the price, this is in indeed awesome. It completely captures the spirit of Tobacco Vanille and it delivers really well on it. Performance is very good.

Opening has a strong medicinal sweet weird clove mixed with raisins a bit hard to me... but after half hour becomes this beautiful strong, interesting, very spicy and a bit sweet, dark, misterious, so addictive ...love love love!

I’m liking this a lot. It’s so similar to TF’s Tobacco Vanille. The sillage and projection is weaker than the TF version and that makes it better as I feel TV is too overpowering. For the price this fragrance is an amazing buy!

Blind buy in an online Zara sale for ~$13, never thought a random Zara would become one of my favorites; I hope they restock it in the future, and that it is still slept on so I can get it at half price heh.

smells like ruby spice cider tea

This is blew me away. I bought this at winners for 9 dollars and I was surprised on how good it smells. It opens up with a vanilla ginger mix that blends beautifully and then dries down to a tobacco, plum, smoky, vanilla scent. It’s kinda like a more mature Khamrah. I will say that it def is blind buy safe but I always tell people to please smell the fragrance before blind buying (NO MATTER THE FRAGRANCE). Longevity is okay it’s not the best neither than the worst, around 5-7 hours and projection is pretty okay around 2-4 hours with okay silliage (around an arms length). Overall I think if you find it at discounters then def give it a try, if you like a warm, winter, inviting, vanilla fragrance then this is def for you. Rating: 7.3/10 I WILL UPDATE AFTER A WEEK

A mi naríz una buena de Zara para otoño invierno que con el Tabaco ha hecho buenas fragancias. Sin tener el placer de oler aún la de Tom Ford TV , me atrevo a comentar que para su precio es buena opción comparándola con la de Al Hamarain Amber Oud Tobacco edition o la de Maison Alhambra Tobacco Touch. Cada una tiene sus notas particulares, y poniéndolas una a una creo Zara por su calidad es la peor, se nota algo más sintética. Muy buena duración,sobre todo si se combina piel y ropa , fácil 7-9 hrs, tal vez más en la ropa sin estela. En piel obviamente depende del tipo y su pH, a mí me dura unas 4-5. Muy recomendable para todas las edades en épocas navideñas o reuniones familiares dónde quieres sentirte cálido. Gracias

To me this is a more fruity, less serious interpretation of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. I enjoy the dried fruits scent being amplified here adding some sweetness to the overall composition. It made me think of Christmas, it would be a perfect cozy scent for Fall/Winter. I’d enjoy wearing this as a woman as much as I’d enjoy this on my partner, this is a good one. Performance is average.

Very similar to zara warm black which supposed to be a dupe for tom ford tobacco vanille, I have never smelled tobacco vanille so I can't speak of that but what I can say is that this one is smoother than zara warm black with the dry fruits being more prominent and the spices well blended in comparison to warm black in which the clove is very distinct, Longevity and silage is good

Smells more like Merchant of Venice Arabesque than TF Tobacco Vanille.

This is an absolutely stunning release. Initially the undeniable TF Tobacco Vanille relationship threw me off the path, as I like the scent profile enough, but the OG and its clones are actually unwearable for me as it is just too much. So I skipped TOB/03 and tried the other two TOB bottles on skin, but both were underwhelming and didn’t wow me. The second time in the store I decided to give Tabac-Treasure a chance on skin, as what I could smell then from the sprayer cap was still warm vanilla and tonka, but way cooler, almost aquatic and less suffocating, than what in my experience TF TV is in the dry down. Spraying it on gave the same black chai with sugar and cream vibes that I get from Tobacco Vanille, just less sweet and a tad fresher. Sillage and longevity are fantastic. The scent is not too linear and develops over time. Finally I found something in this category that I actually enjoy wearing.

Zara's own Warm Black rebottled and repackaged with slightly improved performance and increased price tag.

A big dislike for me. It smells like eucalyptus mixed with cinnamon.

Why oh why do the todays perfume manufacturers put in almost every fragrance that horrible ambroxan material. When I smelled this one at the store it smelled so nice. Perfect for this season with cinnamon, dried fruits and ginger. But that generic dry down with dry tobacco and ambroxan ruins it all. And it takes two hours to come to that stage. So I payed the 14 or so Euros and left with the thought I had another great affordable Zara frag. At home the sharp ambroxan smell irritated me and now I'm stuck with an almost useless bottle that looks actually rather nice. Bummer!

too sweet and is more on the feminine side...

Just bought mine, it's been in the bottle for 17 days , based on the batch code and it's a nice warm scent. Someone here compares it to a Xmas drink, and I can see why. The opening smells a bit like mulled wine, the one you get at the X-mas markets in Europe, must be the dried fruits /cinnamon/ginger that gives it that impression. There are other notes floating around not long after that, notes of Vanilla and tobacco and Heliotrope comes through . It makes this perfume shift into a more sweeter lane, but not really gourmand, just a tad sweetness. Can't commend on the longevity nor sillage as these are my first impressions.

As others have said, very good dupe of TF Tobacco Vanille but it lasts about 4hrs then turns into a very faint clean musk you can only smell if you put your nose close to the skin. Up to you whether or not you think that's worth it

Nice spicy(cinnamon) vanilla. It’s perfectly unisex in my opinion. Coming from a woman who doesn’t wear masculine scents. It’s pretty long lasting for a Zara fragrance. I can still smell it on my clothes the next day.

Tested. Dry down has nice subtle raisin note with heliotrope. Reminds me of Tom Ford Metallique, though not a dupe. Kinda really like this one, but decided on Zara Leather Freestyle.

Much better than warm black, I have both of them yes they are similar but tabac treasure is richer and spicier and thicker. Warm black is for me more of a one dimensional fragrance

FB tobacco-/SoW plum in cognac-esque but cheaper. singature cheap zara vanilla + lots of dry fruits + cinnamon. quite enjoyable if u din't have anything against their vanilla.

Warm Black 2.0 - Better and definitely not as linear. Dr Harder said it best to be honest. It follows the TFTV trend well.

This is just spicebomb eau extreme in a cheaper version. 5 hours longevity on my skin!
