Tuberose Glitter

Picked this up as it was on sale and I'm having a whole tuberose thing lately. Firstly: Yes, the glitter comes out with the scent, but no, you won't see it on your skin. The particles are teeny tiny and very sparse when sprayed. Thankfully. There's a strong bubblegum opening to this - not McQueen strong, but very noticeable - that subsides fairly quickly. That bubblegummy tuberose then becomes a clean, freshly-laundered tuberose supported by soft woods, like cedar and sandalwood had a lovechild, and garnished with spices (clove, I think, but all else is vague) that lift it with a little sparkle, just like the liquid. That's my favourite phase. But not long after, drydown becomes a strong soap note wrapped in a thick, cloying blanket of vanilla. It's just a bit sickening at this stage, honestly, and I love me some sugary sweet gourmands, so that's a yikes from me, dawg. Perhaps it's the juxtaposition of laundry-clean and vanilla-syrup at the same time? Those two things together feel wrong to both my nose and my stomach. I only got it today, so I'll update the review if I ever come to terms with that final transformation. I do adore it until that point, so hopefully we'll come to an agreement. It's a unique take on tuberose, for me – I do have a little of the McQueen, and aside from sharing a bubblegum tuberose note for 10 seconds, I don't find them similar at all.
