Tuesday - Totally Terrific

In this Weekly Mood collection, this one stands out and is totally unisex. It shows layers and evolution. It reminds me of something I've smelled before, but I just couldn't pinpoint what it was. I even went back to the store to spritz some more hoping to figure it out.

This entire scent reminds me of the opening of Gris Charnel, just heavier on the citric accords. Dries down to a dry/papery vanilla-iris combo. Feels refreshing and very clean, perfect for warm/hot weather. Lasts a little under 5 hrs, not a major projector.

Definitely similar to gris charnel, a bit more “peppery” less sweet

Overall, a nice scent. Prior to checking notes, I'd describe the it as moderately peppery scent that is done in a modern, likeable way. After checking the notes the spicy note is probably a combination of cardamom and iris. It's not too heavy, warm or sweet. I can see men and women wearing it. Does it remind me of any other scent? I'm under the impression that I've smelled something similar long time ago, thus it feels a little nostalgic. Where would I wear it? To go out on in fall, evening or daytime. Wearable to the office. I haven't smelled Wednesday, Thursday and Friday yet, but this scent is my favorite one from this line.

Opening is pretty citrusy and spicy with cardamom, but as it dries down, you start smelling soft iris and creamy sandalwood-ish smell but it's actually the combination of whipped cream and vanilla that is not too heavy. I wore it when its 90 degrees outside, and it was not cloying at all. Maybe the 2nd or 3rd cousin of Loubirouge by Christian Louboutin? This will be a great day/night scent for very affordable price.

Starts off citrus fresh like White Citrus from BBW. Then dries down more powdery and you can definitely smell some lemon custard but it doesn't really linger for long. I spray about 6 times and the scent lasts about 3 hours at most. I enjoy the somewhat unique scent this has and am a huge fan of the notes. It's a pretty safe blind buy but don't expect anything sweetly gourmand.

Loved it at store as it reminded me of Bvlgari Man Black opening. Then it just lasted for about 30 minutes. Can't smell anything after that even on fabric. More of a skin scent. Just reapply whenever I like, good thing I got it dirt cheap at around $18.

The opening is a blast of lemon and cardamom, and it dries down to a subtle lemon-y vanilla. Much fresher than I was expecting. Not gourmand. Not at all a dupe for Lira. Longevity and sillage is really awful.

Now this is a very interesting scent. It starts very heavy with the cardamon (for me its more like an eucalyptus note) then turns into a strong peppery note which is not listed at all but i think its definitely there. And basically thats it on me. Since it has got a very poor longevity i dont notice any vanilla or whipped cream as a base at all, the whole thing disappear less than an hour (or less) Definitely unisex but maybe leans more to the masculine side because of the leathery hint. For me this will be a an autumn/winter perfume.

Amazing, sexy, genderless, unique. Refreshing yet creamy, spicy but calming, and enchantingly cheeky. But very weak, even with 20 sprays it's gone in 2 hours. That means that this huge bottle will last you a month if you are lucky...but still worth it in my opinion. Rest of the "days" seem a bit boring but after loving this one so much I am tempted to try ❤️

It's weird when I snuffed it at the store I liked after few weeks when I bought it and got it and sprayed it at home right now I don't like anymore! It's weird and I am disappointed! Don't know what happened, may be it needs time to mature and settle for couple of weeks?

Nice smell of whipped cream and vanilla icecream, but poor projection and longevity.

This is very strange fragrance. It reminds me of some of the scents sprayed when you walk through the door of the store from Zara, Stradi or Bershka. It is very familiar, something like teenage clothing brand store - yes this is the way I would describe it. Now, it has nothing to do with the Vanilla Vibration. I sprayed side to side both of them and there's nothing similar about them at all! It also has nothing to do with Dyptique Eau Duelle either. I don't think it's worth an effort to try. Just save your penny on that and move to something different from Zara.

This fragrance strongly resembles By / Rosie Jane's Lake. I'm surprised that more people haven't made this connection in the "This perfume reminds me of" section above. I'm currently wearing both, and there are subtle differences. Lake has a more pronounced creamy-sweet citrus opening, while Tuesday - Totally Terrific is sharper and smells faintly like tea and/or leather (perhaps this is due to the iris note?). Overall they share a striking similarity. I've been enjoying both fragrances and am so satisfied with them. Both are light, happy, summer fragrances which are not too strong, not in your face. These two fragrances are great for hot, humid weather where you might want something other than a strong woody or floral-focused fragrance. Tuesday - Totally Terrific is a creamsicle summer scent with its blend of citrus and vanilla. The iris note adds a sharpness that leans more towards what is typically categorized as masculine when compared to the sweet, more typically feminine qualities of Lake. Both dry down to smelling exactly the same. And both have been an enjoyable discovery during the summer for me. I love the balance of the citrus and vanilla notes together!

I’ve never smelled Gris Charnel or Gypsy Water. The opening is very masculine to my nose, but the vanilla cream dry down is quite nice, but faint. I wish it had better sillage and longevity, though. Tuesday is a good example of how notes can be very misleading. It really is not what I expected from the notes. The cardamom is very strong, woody and synthetic. That’s a note I usually like, but here it’s almost smokey smelling and too much. I wish the iris and whipped cream were more prominent and there was more sweetness. I’m going to let it macerate, but I may sell it or give it to a guy. My favorite Zara’s are Pepetual Oud and Hypnotic Vanilla. I’ve tried 5 others and they all underwhelmed me.

A touch of sauna, I know it's cardamom but to my nose today it could be eucalyptus. Woodsy and dry iris, not really sweet. I'm getting somehwat of a tarmac too - not bad, but not as sweet and feminine and powdery as I'm searching for in an iris - this is very unisex, leans dry, plenty of woods and a touch of concrete.

A dry spicy vanilla with dominant iris in the beginning, there it smells like a light and cold Dior Homme Intense. As it develops an oak barrel type of note gives you the feeling of tobacco. Close to Whispers in the Library, Nirvana Bourbon and somewhat Ford Noir pour Femme.

I do not get comparison to Loubirouge. At all. That is powdery, lipsticky aromatic vanilic goddess scent. To me it smells like Escentric Molecules M+ Iris. It is a bit citrusy fresh iris, not orris. Not powdery, sweetness is slight but not vanilic.

I found this fragrance to lean very woody and for that reason I am not very fond of it. To be fair, I don’t even know where that comes from as there are no woods listed here.
