Twilight Mauve

This is bright, sparkly, confident, fresh and pretty - you could happily wear this even in the middle of a heatwave. I'm currently wearing it in Winter and loving it. Twilight Mauve gets attention and has a really happy vibe. I first purchased this a few months ago and tested it by spraying it into the air. To be honest I didn't really think much of it then. Today, however, I wore it on my skin and magic happened. Within 2 minutes my husband came into the room saying, 'it smells good in here' and then he realised it was me. Later in the car, he mentioned again that he was loving the fragrance....RESULT! lolI I like Zara fragrances, but the downside for me is that they don't normally last very long, but I have to say that this has lasted 7- 8 hours and I can still smell it on my skin now. It's not a fragrance I would wear on a special evening out, or any other special event, but for this is a really good everyday perfume. I am so glad I gave this scent another chance, and I am very much looking forward to wearing it in hotter weather too.

great buy with the money. worth more than it looks. so fresh and feels like wondering in the roof top garden of a billionair who owes all kinds of flowers blooming at the same time ! so fresh and with bubbles of florals and it is not too strong and it feels like a pretty young thing surrouded with all kinds of lovely flowers. soooo in love with this smell.. .and it smells expensive!~ great buy with the zara femme together. which use this in the morning and the white bottle at nite. and your man will can't help sniffing you all day long ! LOL

Frankly, I like it a lot. Excellent value for money fragrance. Not as fruity as it sounds. Yes, its name fits it perfectly. This is the perfume of a purple afternoon in springtime. That crack you feel in your heart when the day turns into dusk and an undescribable floral freshness keeps you hoping. I get a lot of freesia and violet. Yes with some apple, but trust me it is all so well blended you are not gonna think of fruitsalads at all. It is femminine and elegant, plus it is quite original. Maybe the best Zara bottle I've ever picked.

I’m honestly shocked by some of these reviews as I love this perfume and definitely don’t get that window cleaner scent that everyone’s talking about. Personally, I think that this is one of Zara’s best performing “cubed” perfumes and find that it’s one of few that do last really well. This scent is very crisp and fresh and is great for wanting to feel clean. I overall do much prefer other scent groups however this is a great option for the hotter months or wanting to smell fresh like straight out the shower.

Loved this perfume since high school and I still can’t put my finger on what this smells like. I can’t distinguish any notes from this fragrance but I love it! Lasting power is quite acceptable for being a Zara perfume and since I still haven’t found anything that smells like this I have to keep buying lol. Almost gives me a slight YSL libre vibe in the dry down, even though this came out way before. Since this perfume is so affordable, you should definitely try this one out!

I love this in the cold season. My grandfather used to keep apples in the basement for preservation. This scent reminds me of those cold apples in winter. Crispy, slightly sweet and very refreshing. It doesn't smell as nice when it gets warm, in my opinion. Too sweet, smells pretty standart and boring. But in the cold lithuanian winter... Just amazing 😊

I bought this beautiful perfume 13th of july in Oslo, and I love it so very much! To me it's all about the great apples, it smells just the same as my late grandfathers fruitcellar in his old farmhouse in Lofthus / Kinsarvik, Hardanger, Norway :D

I'm in love with this perfume! There is such a story written by these scents, I'm wearing it right now for 8 hours and I can clearly smell it on me (and around me as well). I applied only once, at morning, on wrist and body. Go and try it ;)

So happy with this blind buy! I used to use DKNY Be Delicious a lot in high school and lately had been missing it. This smells so close to that for me that I’m not even tempted to repurchase the DKNY anymore. Was not expecting that!

The bottle is so beautiful. It's pastel purple and from the weekend collection. It's a dupe for DKNY Be Delicious. Yes! It's the same! I bought the combo with Zara Femme. No regret at all! Both are nice, feminine and sweet!

i bought this perfume for the same reason i buy most zara pefumes, so that i can use them briefly for a specific period of time such as a vacation or holiday etc... and then associate them with that time period. this works so well because zara perfumes are so cheap, easily accessible and strong. not to mention i've never loved a zara perfume enough to use it consistently. this was my boarding school scent. it's clean, it's cold and it's refreshing. i've never tried DKNY but i can imagine them smelling similar. zara perfumes don't evolve much at least to my nose... it starts off metallic and aquatic, it almost smells like cucumber water, very green... i don't get the fruitiness, maybe a little green apple but it's not remarkable. then you get the florals, still very watery, it's not a flowerbomb type floral, more like walking into a flower shop, it remains fresh and green. after a while it rounds out but it remains fresh, it doesnt warm up on the skin whatsoever. you do pick up the cedar and the musk after a few hours. overall it's a lovely fragrance but it isn't sensual or seductive, it's a cooling summer fragrance. this to me smells like a young woman with freshly washed hair or clean sheets drying on a clothesline with some crisp, green notes. it's in the D&G light blue realm minus the alluring depth but what can you expect for zara pricing. definitely worth testing if you like cold, fresh smells.

This is a fresh, fruity fragrance which is certainly unisex. I found it in the woman's section at Zara but it's definitely unisex as it smells fresh and manly on me. The fragrance notes are as described, prominent notes of Apple, watermelon, Ambergris, Violet leaves which is something I look for in a fragrance specially for summers. The opening maybe be off putting to some people, i think it's the peony note but that quickly fades away into this juicy watermelon Ambergris Violet apple notes which is so refreshingly beautiful and yes it is unisex. I'm emphasizing on it because most men are too shy to even walk into the woman's section to check fragrances. This should be available in both sides because of its versatility. Longevity is pretty decent for the price, upto 7 hours in a non AC environment and upto 10 hours in a closed AC environment like office. It does have a sillage which is about a meter and i think it's perfect for everyday wear or office wear.

This is the first scent that actually matches the name of the fragrance along with the bottle colour. Hard to explain, but it feels like that moment when you stop for a few minutes to stare at the horizon and notice the beauty of pale blues and purples (mauves) fading slowly until the sky becomes a dark blue and the first stars slowly appear while you make a romantic wish and hope it will become true. It's definitely fruity but not sweet which I like. I guess the violet and iris balance the scent and becomes gelid. On my skin, projection is not good, longevity is about 3 or 4 hours but only as a skin scent which is too bad because even you or anyone else won't notice is there. Needs to be reapplied. That's the negative part of Zara fragrances, hopefully they'll improve this.

Burst of juicy watermelon and fresh green apple shampoo scent! 🍉🍏🛀 So my roommates and i each bought 1 Zara frag when we were living together,, but we all chose the 4 frags together as a set of common perfumes to share amongst us.. so it's a cute memory 🫶🏻 After going our separate ways for career/fam etc we each took one Zara and exchanged it sometimes whenever we met.. we finally panned all 4 in the SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELLING PERFUMES way so here I am reviewing them😂 This is a shampooey juicy green appley and fresh non-descript floral scent,, the watermelon adds a bright watery sweetness to it ..v fun and girly and student appropriate,, perf for heatwaves too! Lasts around 3 hours on outfits and performs as a scent bubble 💭

On the Zara website there was no mention of any sort of watermelon notes. So you can imagine my surprise and delight when I sprayed this and my little sister (7 years old) exclaims that I smell like watermelon, which is my favorite fruit. I got this in a set with Applejuice and this one performs a little better for me than Applejuice. That isn't saying much as Applejuice is gone in half an hour for me. But I do love this scent. It's so refreshing. I spray it at work and it lifts my spirits. I can definitely smell the peony which I love, and the cedar is lovely as well. Unfortunately for me, the atomizer on my bottle is a little wonky so it spritzes rather than mists. I can deal with that though.

i tested this in store and all the way home i couldnt stop sniffing my wrist! i dont even know what it is about this perfume, but it just smells so clean and beautiful. it does have that shampoo quality to it but i kinda like it for that. its a perfect daytime perfume for any season. i do have to say i tested the edt version of this, so the longevity is pretty meh (abt 2 hours before turning into a skin scent) but i did only spray once so ill update if i end up buying this later! edit: i realize that the reason this smell was so nostalgic and comforting was because it smelled like the floor cleaner my mom has been using for years on end. i dont think im gonna buy this anymore lmao

Right off the hop this smells like a herbal essence shampoo. I can pick up all of the fruit notes listed. It smells watery, fresh & Soapy. I get some floral notes but mostly fruit! This would be perfect for a summer time teenage scent! It’s just so fresh a screams summer to me. It’s more of a body splash, the dry down is less of a love for me, you can still get hints of the melon, but it’s mostly cedar. To get much out of this you will need to overspray. Lasts longer on clothes obviously!

Great option for summer! Fresh and bright. It's fruity but in a citric way, I pick up green apple the most. If you want something easy for everyday it's lovely, don't expect anything complex. Only con is that it doesn't last much, it's more like a body mist talking longevity.

That is so good for me. This one is one of the most lovely. Opening with watermelon and apple. Then great peony , violet and honeysuckle flowers appear and they are supported by passion fruit sweetness .It lasts very long. Highly recommended .

This is a great spring scent. Indeed it smells cold, but it's so juicy and refreshing. Mouth watering green apple,watermellon, peony-some of my favourite notes.

Green apple, bunch of flowers and some green notes and that's it. Nice, but also quite sharp due to freesia. Good for summer.

A wonderful scent for hot tropical weather. It's crisp, clean and has great sillage. Yet, somehow, for some it may smell window cleaner/bug spray/ironing spray-like (if you live in tropical countries like indonesia). A cousin thought I had spilled some ironing fabric spray when I passed by). I think it's due to the iris n violet notes (I had this issue with guerlain edp insolence too. Although insolence dried down to a more sweet powdery note). Here in indonesia there are a lot of household cleaners that use violet scents.

I remember really liking this when I first sampled it two years ago. The watermelon was fresh and juicy and the rest of the notes gave an overall chill, clean vibe. Now, it's like the watermelon has turned sour and cheap. Not a big fan of this scent any longer.

(got it as a second hand gift from my family) It's giving bathroom air freshener, not a bad smell, very plain. Not something I'd wear. If you're into that I think you'd like it more than me

I only like this ...sometimes... when its really cold. Otherwise the florals are too cloying for me. There's something about an apple scent in winter I (sometimes) really like.

I agree with the other reviewers - this does smell a whole lot like DKNY Be Delicious, with the exception that this has a very sharp, sour note to it that makes it a little less well-rounded than its DKNY counterpart. Possibly Passion Fruit or Honeysuckle? Either way, it's not an atrocious fragrance, but the screechy note does tend to stick out a bit, sort of like a snag on a scarf that you keep tugging at - until one day you end up unraveling your entire scarf (don't ask). It lasts a bit longer on clothing (and seemingly my hair) than it does on my skin, but it is strong enough that you get a whiff when you move this way or that. All in all, it's good value for money. It doesn't cost an arm, leg and a few other appendages, so even if you do need to respray at lunch time, it's no biggie. Score: 6/10 Recommend: Maybe Repurchase: No

The notes on this fragrance sound so nice, but when I tried it, it was horrible to me. It smells like Windex window cleaner. The blue original. Not for me. So glad I purchased the sample from Zara. Do not blind buy this fragrance. Maybe some people like it, but not for me.

This perfume is super fresh which is kind of perfect for summer time but it's smells so cheap that I use it only for my room. Whenever I used it for myself I ended up with taste like a soap in my mouth, which is yykkkk... Thanks ...but NOOO. Name : Soap in your mouth

Cheap and common. I have smelt this before , can't recall where. It's a cheapy teen body spray scent very sweet and fruity. Not awful, but not what I want to smell like. It'll be ok as a bathroom air freshener. Definitely won't repurchase.

At the beginning, there is a window cleaner/car air freshener - strong apple. Later on, it's only sour with a hint of herbs (?) on me. Reminds me of pickled cucumbers with dill. Nope. Got rid of it after two sprays.

i got it because i like the notes and it'd be a fun, girly scent for summer, but this smells like one of my husband's cheap colognes. it's aquatic and fresh which is not what i'm looking for.

It has nothing to do with apple. It's a very cheap, can-be-found-everywhere, headache perfume. If you want an apple perfume check applejuice by Zara. I will get rid of is asap : (

This is a fresh fruity fragrance of watermelons and apples. Unfortunately it gives me a headache.

This is colder and sharper than dkny, which I like, because the sweetness on dkny may turn boring after long use or you may not detect dkny as much on yourself, like you will for sure twilight mauve. If you crave the sweetness in the dkny you may find it in Zara "apple juice". Both are apples, but this one features the green peel and the core of the apple, while apple juice features the pulp of it with its mouthwatering sweetness. If someone smells like dkny next to you and you smell of twilight mauve, the latter will outperform it.

There was no tester for this but I bought it because it was on clearance for about 10 usd. It's giving freshly shampooed hair- cheap apple and a jumble of floral that smells like the early 2000's. It's a fun trip down memory lane for a few minutes, but it's not where I want to reside. It's safe to wear for work, school, the gym, or after a shower. However, it's cheap smelling and not interesting so I'm getting bored and just trying to finish this.

WEBSTERS DICTIONARY: Shampoo scent: Twilight Mauve Zara This literally smells like shampoo, sodium lauryl sulfate and all. Not a scent for grown women, smells very tweenish. I will most likely gift this to a young girl, maybe my bf’s 9 yo niece. Smells like it should be marketed as a youth scent. Similar profile to RALPH, but RALPH is a much better-quality fragrance and is also very inexpensive now.

I don't know why some people say it's a clean straight out of the shower scent? I think it smells much more interesting than that. It smells so cool, fun, and youthful. In my opinion clean fragrances smell soapy and neutral. Twilight Mauve is far from smelling like that, it's a bold fresh perfume.

People are saying this smells like window cleaner? I am not getting that, but that would be better than what I smell. I don’t know what it is in this fragrance that’s j smell, nor do I know how to describe it, but it is bad. I hate to leave a bad review but it’s just that bad to me.

Definitely a take on DKNY Be Delicious and a pretty good one too. It's simple and clean just like DKNY. Cheaper though and with that comes lower longevity. Be prepared to re-apply this every 2 hours or so. If you want an apple scent, go for this rather than Zara Applejuice.

I bought it for my daughter, but I fell in love with this frag. For me, this is the iris should smell like. I can feel fresh peach in the begining, peony and violet too. And musk base, of course.

Smells like DKNY be delicous but with black currant and without the cucumber. Gave it to my sister because I didn't wear it enough and she wears it all year round. Great perfomance for the price.

The funny thing is .....I will buy this bottle because it's the perfect colour for my bedroom so will try to get Dulux to match it . Once bought I will post an honest opinion of the scent

Meh-ish fresh fruit on my skin, but at least doesn't turn nauseating on me like DKNY does. I could wear it, I just don't care for it.
