Ubbe Latte

It opens with a very sharp citrusy bergamot and then turnes into almost the smell of a breastfed baby. The settled combination of all notes remind me of vitamin B pills with hot milk, kinda hazelnutty as well. Edit: After wearing it for a whole day it made a lot of sense why this was called ubbe latte, as the scent actually becomes sweet, starchy and very nutty / earthy after the bergamot fades, just like taro milk.

This is a softer, more wearable version of Blanche Bete. It’s actually a dream! So delicate, creamy, and pleasant. I smelled it at on a whim at Zara and immediately bought the full bottle! Also, longevity is surprisingly great!

I feel this is Zara's official attempt at duping Blanche Bete, its about 85% there. As soon as I got home, I sprayed it and immediately got Blanche Bete with a slight twang, when it disappeared I reapplied both to each of my wrists and you can definitely smell the difference, Blanche Bete is a lot more creamier, whilst Ubbe Latte has a slight savoury but clean and green undertone to it, the coconut is also not in there. Very cute and travel friendly bottle!

The scent is definitely similar to Blanche Bête, but it’s not a dupe. These fragrances develop a bit differently on the skin, Ubbe Latte is slightly creamier, softer, more 'rounded,' and crowd-pleasing, you can really feel the creaminess brought in by the mimosa. You could place it on the 'same shelf' as Blanche Bête, but I don’t agree that it’s a copy, and I don't think Ubbe Latte could replace Blanche Bête for anyone. It’s hard to describe this scent, but it’s something like hot milk with background florals and a touch of vanilla sweetness.

Probably my favorite of the latte edit. I don’t get the comparisons to Blanche Bete but I’ve smelled that and have Her confession and the only similarities is the lactonic quality. The latter two are hard for me to wear and overwhelming but Ubbe is so inoffensive, sweet, and clean. Think sweet cold foam on top of an ice cold floral matcha. Love the bottle as well. So easy to slide into your purse. Lasted surprisingly long on skin and dried down to that beautiful sweet cream. Nothing ground breaking. It’s just beautiful simplicity.

The comments are so funny bc to me this literally smells like ube latte. And I‘m shocked bc why did Zara kinda eat with this one. Also I hate Blanche bete and this is nothing like it. To me at least. I also kinda hate the bottle idk why

Inspired by Blanche Bête. I prefer Her Confession by Lattafa which is an almost identical interpretation of the original and the performance is unmatched.

I don't know if it's just my nose, but this smelled like a wet multivitamin pill when I tested it in-store. Musty and fishy? I nearly gagged.
