Vanilla 02 Collection Cold Caramel

Overall thoughts and scent profile: Very nice sweet scent profile, to me it smells like premium vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzle, almost gourmand but not quite edible smelling/feeling. I really like the scent profile, but I notice a slight peppery note that docks a rating point or two in my personal rating. Definitely a great scent profile for the price though, quite unique as well. Surprisingly one of my most complimented fragrances. Presentation and bottle quality: Very basic presentation as is the case with most zara fragrances, but it's decent for the price, you get a nice looking bottle, and a decent atomizer. Performance: Very nice performance, however you can easily go nose-blind if you spray more than like 4-5 sprays. On skin it projects very strongly for the first hour or so, then a bit weaker for the following hour, then it dies down to a skin scent for maybe 5 more hours, doesn't last as long as other vanilla scents like liquid brun, but it does seem to project a bit stronger. Slightly better projection and longevity on fabrics but not by a large margin. Blind buy factor: It's a nice sweet scent profile so I would say it's blind buy worthy, however it is so easy to sample it at zara that I don't get why you would blind buy it. Final rating: 8/10

THIS SCENT IS NICE. I picked this up for $32 at Zara and it’s crazy. This scent lasts 5+ hours and projects for at least 2 hours. I definitely agree that it smells like a vanilla bean ice cream, but it has a nice masculine twist due to the amber. This fragrance reminds me of stronger with you intensely, Lattafa Qawha, and Angels Share. Different batches may be different but it lasts a decent bit. This fragrance is put together beautifully and doesn’t smell cheap. Definitely worth gatekeeping. 🤫 Definitely a little feminine leaning but perfect for vanilla lovers. 👍 8/10

In relation to the OG Vanilla 02, this one is more grounded and sweeter but it's a sharp "pointy" sweetness. Whereas the Infinite Parfum version is less sour, better projecting, fuller but more airy and watery at the same time, with a "glittery" feel but still masculine.

Exceptional performance and sillage for the price (around 8 hours on average, with strong projection), basically unbeatable. Strong and prominent caramel notes, with a bit of freshness touch to it. Sweet, masculine, perfect for colder days.

It was a blind buy and I think it’s absolutely brilliant. When I first tried this fragrance, I felt like I could just eat it. The vanilla is so sweet and mouth-watering. The fragrance lasts all day on me.

This is a great fragrance for people who normally dislike Gourmand fragrances. Its not as sweet as the other "cinnabon shop vibe" perfumes. This one almost has a masculine edge and I can swear it has a tobacco not at the top. Longevity and sillage is huge also. You will get noticed by modern audience. 7/10

Well blended at the opening, but at the same time, there is a cardboard note buried, if that makes sense. I get this note from other ME bottles, too. The sweetness is very similar to Nike Man Ultra Green. That one has a honey note in it and, many say, is similar to 1 Million Lucky.

great fragrance if u want to smell edible

I had to write this cause I bought this blindly thinking I'd smell like a gorgeous soft and creamy caramel sundae and I cannot for the love of god get anyone who says this smells like vanilla ice cream or caramel. On opening This smells like a bounty bar. It has that sreechy coconut type vibe from le beau from jean paul gaultier and the orchid weirdly gives it a bitter floral tinge that reminds me of that processed coconut chocolate smell. And this milky lactonic vibe cements that down. Boom! Bounty vibes! it softens when you wear it but it keeps its bounty esque profile where you really have to dig to smell vanilla at all the caramel is also buried in there somewhere. I'm not mad about it, it's wearable and im impressed by the quality. but it's not what I expected given the name cold caramel and the vanilla 02 name. Guess im going to have to keep looking for my perfect caramel perfume. But if you love bounties give this one a sniff!
