Vanilla Collection 01: Irresistible, Magnetic, Delicious

This is the closest thing to Gucci Guilty Elixer. It has a barbershop vibe but slightly lacks white florals. They are there but its very hard to tell. I can definitely see the resemblance to Reflection Man or the OG JPG. This isn't perfectly balanced without a stronger floral accord but it is very high quality. Besides that, I'd say if you wear this in summer, spring, or office, go easy on the number of sprays. This stuff is beast mode and I'm not exaggerating,a friend sprayed a bunch of perfumes on him and I could only smell this from very far away additionally it stays on clothes for over 24 hours. If I were to give it a rating I'd say its 95% close to Gucci Guilty Elixer with that 5% being reduced florals. My first Zara Perfume that I would recommend to someone but not blind buy worthy as it can be too strong and can come off as a touch more synthetic than Guilty Elixer.

Zara is becoming one of my favorite cheapie houses. Their bottles look great, and in the past year and a half or so they have really taken strides towards building a much better reputation for themselves in the world of fragrance. This is an addition to the collection of reasons as to why I'm so optimistic for the brand. Not a bomb of a fragrance, but still lasts an acceptable amount of time on skin. Smells incredibly similar to Guilty Elixir, but just lacking some quality. Don't see a ton of resemblance to Reflection Man either. Great scent overall. A powdery, spicy, clean take on vanilla. Well worth more than the price tag of $27.99US (or $19.99 in the combo pack with 02).

Basically GGE for $25. The opening lacks some of that sharp almond that I have only been able to smell in GGE and the Absolu flanker, but besides that, it is pretty much spot on for GGE. I get around 7 hours on skin, 12-15 on clothing. I wouldn't wear it in the late spring and summer unless it was a cool night, but it's completely safe for the rest of the year. Great quality, good ingredients, enjoyable. I enjoy this was much much more than Shiyaaka Silver.

This is the more affordable version of Gucci Guilty Elixir, but there’s a reason it’s cheaper. It’s a well-packaged and nicely blended perfume, but it lacks the “wow” factor that Gucci has. This version leans more towards being a men’s fragrance, whereas the original has a touch of femininity. It’s a great alternative, and I believe it would be hard for someone passing by to realize it’s Zara’s replica. 10/10

Great Gucci Guilty Elixir Dupe, especially for the price. I bought mine in the set of two; 01 and 02 for approximately $50 US. For some reason it gives me a slight headache though, and lacks the ambery depth that Gucci Guilty Elixir has. I ended up layering it with a touch of PDM Haltane, it adds woody depth but still has the warmth.

I used to rock gucci guilty pour homme elixir and this smells exactly like that for a 10th of the price i got it for 10$ i love it and its very good, 1 hour good projection then 5-7 hours skin scent. Amber with almost ginger but its some flowers it does lean a little unisex but you re good. Love it

10/10 fragrance. So happy this smells like Gucci Elixir. Smells expensive and niche, what a great release!

This is my final review of the year as it draws to a close. I picked up this fragrance yesterday, after a long internal battle with "02 Cold Caramel | Zara", and thought I’d ease the wait for the New Year by sharing this review. Vanilla Collection 01 Irresistible / Magnetic / Delicious is a modern gourmand with an obvious purpose: a comforting vanilla rendered contemporary through polished musks, sheer florals, and a smooth woody base. This is not a niche experiment or an avant-garde statement, but a carefully engineered vanilla designed for everyday wear. Is it another clone of a famous designer or niche creation? I can’t definitively say. What I can say is that it echoes several familiar compositions without fully duplicating any of them. It recalls "Le Mâle (Eau de Toilette) | Jean Paul Gaultier" through its orange blossom–vanilla pairing, and hints at "Indaco | L'Erbolario" via benzoin and patchouli, among other references. The opening is bright and immediately inviting. A gentle citrus freshness blends with green, aromatic nuances, lending lift and preventing the vanilla from feeling heavy too soon. The initial alcohol bite fades quickly, revealing a clear, luminous introduction. A restrained spiced accent melts into citrus-tinged white florals, suggesting orange blossom. The effect is airy and modern, fresh without sharpness. As the fragrance settles, vanilla takes center stage—but never turns syrupy or overtly edible. Instead, it appears creamy and smooth, supported by powdery white florals and faint violet-like facets. There is a cosmetic elegance to this phase: refined, soothing, and quietly addictive. The powdery texture recalls buttery iris and a dusty, floral sweetness reminiscent of osmanthus. The heart defines the fragrance’s appeal—a creamy vanilla wrapped in delicate florals, creating a polished core with a subtly cosmetic, skin-like character. In the dry-down, the scent finds its true balance. Vanilla deepens and blends seamlessly with amber woods and low-volume musks, while a restrained patchouli provides structure and warmth without tipping into earthiness. The result is a cozy, skin-close trail that feels sensual yet understated. Performance aligns well with ZARA’s Eau de Parfum positioning: noticeable, but intentionally approachable and office-friendly. It suits daily wear, professional settings, casual evenings, and cooler seasons. It also works effectively as a comfort scent or as a layering base for richer vanillas or amber-forward compositions. I think it succeeds by delivering exactly what it promises—a crowd-pleasing vanilla that feels creamy, balanced, and contemporary, without excess sweetness or weight. While it does not aim for the depth or complexity of higher-end niche vanillas, it compensates with versatility, wearability, and excellent value for money. This review is based on a bottle I’ve owned since December 2025.

A clean dry vanilla that is pleasant, with a hint of unagressive spices at the beginning. I personally prefer his sibling Vanilla 02, but this one is more versatile in my opinion. This could be quite an original but totally unbothering office scent. Definitely not a masterpiece but not a bad scent neither. I would recommend to get it if you are really into vanilla scent and you want something that you could use anytime, especially if you don’t want to smell overly sweet or gourmand. I’m not saying that this is a freshie, but to my nose it definitely has some aromatic notes that make it quite special with the vanilla. I like the way they worked with this accord and the vanilla, but it is too much synthetic for me, even if the dry down corrects a little the shot. Longevity is above average for a Zara perfume.

To me this smells very medicinal (in a good way), is anyone else getting hints of deep freeze/deep heat muscle spray? It's hard to pinpoint what this is as no website descriptions or notes allude to any herbal/menthol/medicinal characteristics. The vanilla, orange blossom and amber seem to take a backseat to the medicinal quiality to my nose. It projected well for 6-8 hours, lasted 10+ hours on skin and more than a week on clothes. It's a very linear scent. It doesn't smell very 'refined' I would say it's noticeably synthetic and somewhat abrasive. Good for the price. I enjoyed it. Not what I expected when I read the notes. I can't speak to this being a clone as I haven't tested any of the mentioned 'originals'.

I haven't smelled Gucci Elixir pour homme but to my nose this is a hybride between : Reflection Man Amouage 60% & YSL MYSLF Le parfum 40%. The opening is a bit screechy, but after 20mins you get amber and vanilla, in the dry down you get that typical Reflection man woody/metallic/earthy orris root scent with orange blossom and vanilla in the back, all balanced. A much more wearable twist on Reflection Man in my opinion, less harsh and less metallic/sharp with the added orange blossom and vanilla. Longevity is so so, I get 4h-5h max

Super cheap and quality alternative for gucci guilty elixir.I have them both(gucci guilty elixir as tester) i can’t even tell the difference side by side. Last long and for this price and amazing fragrance.

I like this the most from the Vanilla 01-02 Collection, it has a very nice blend that I crave for. Zara has done very good with their Vanilla line for men and women. Lot of bangers for my taste.

Strong winter fragrance, reminds me of sarsaparilla. Whenever I use it, I get the urge to look for a Sarsi or Rootbeer drink. Ha ha

An orange blossom bomb with dark ambers and woody/leathery nuances. The dark woodiness is somewhat reminiscent of bentley intense for men IMO. It's more similar to elixir absolu than elixir IMO. Surprisingly good performance. 2 hours of moderate projection.

Smells exactly like the cleaning solution I used whilst I worked in McDonalds. Specifically the bathroom cleaner (pink bottle). Gave me PTSD to my fast food worker days

An absolute nuke of a fragrance that only seems to serve the purpose of assailing one's sense of smell with an all-encompassing, cloying vanilla accord.

So , after the reviews here , I decided to blind buy this one and boy oh boy am I happy I did. I'm not a vanilla lover so that's why I did not even test this in the shop . But when I sprayed this on, wauw, I was happily surprised as this is a stunner, quite peculiar as a perfume. In the opening there is this medicinal smell to it, like when you open up a wound plaster, you know , those older ones made from woven fabric, brown colored, not the plastic ones. It also lingers quite some time on skin and even longer on natural fibers. I sprayed it around my collarbone and the perfume got on my wool sweater and the next morning when I put it back on, I was welcomed by an amazing smell. Really like this one from Zara, as it stands out of the many many many they bring out, often the same perfume under an other name but this one seems to be a new creation and I hope it'll stay in their permanent collection. But to be sure, I bought a back up bottle :-)

This is such a classic composition. Very Amber apothecary like. It smells like Ambra from Antica Farmacia del Cinghiale in Florence Italy - it is very small, local pharmacy/cosmetic shop where they sell their own line. I highly recommend to visit this place as the service there is top notch (all women know everything about their products and are very nice). I agree with the opinions below - this Zara Vanilla is indeed a bit medical but IMHO this is its strongest characteristic. It's just not Vanilla/Amber you would expect. It's very oriental, not sweet at all and not heavy in the same time, very light. Almost Airy. Yes it is fresh and Airy. You just need to try If you like classic/old but unexpected compositions in your perfumes.

Just bought Gucci Guilty Absolute pour Homme and when I sprayed it on my brain was like " hold on a minute, I know this smell" and I tried this Zara on my other arm. Even though the opening notes are really not the same, as Zara's is a bit more band-aid like but at a certain moment they really begin to smell like the same. I don't have the Gucci Guilty Elixir to compare it to as many seem to say that the Zara one smells quite like that one but for what I can compare it too, the Absolute and this one are cousins for sure. Zara: Chapeau haut for this release !

I tried this today and it does remind me a LOT of Gucci Guilty Elixir. I thought it could be a dupe but when you smell them side by side they are different. I like them both, but ironically this one is less cloying since it doesn't last as long. Gucci Guilty Elixir certainly lasts MUCH longer though after a few hours you wish for a little break because you get tired of it. High quality though. Much more hours. It clings to you. This Zara version disappears like the wind. 🌬

Love this DNA, Reflection/Guilty absolute/Sculpture/Dreamer. You can wear it anytime anywhere, universaly liked scent profile. Maybe avoid it in high heat, otherewise its your best choice for almost all seasons. Compliment magnet also

I have to compare this to khadlaj shiyaaka because that one is also gucci elixir and a reflection man clone and for even cheaper than this one is. This is nice but I think Khadlaj might be better bang for your buck and longer lasting

People waiting for others thoughts to tell them if they like this perfume or not. Then comparing other perfume, saying this one is such and such a clone. Pathetic.

This basically khadlaj shiyaaka but watered down go with shiyaaka if you look for something similar to gucci guilty elixir
