Vanilla Devotion Eau de Parfum

This smells very plasticky on me and...I like it?? Its like a doll back in 90s, or plastic smell that would be on beach products.. not sweet, not cloying or anything. Does anyone need it? I don’t think so. Any of the notes listed? I don’t feel them. When layered with body creams this feels like there’s a protective film embalming you. Not in a warm or sticky way. This could be special if this was intentional. But no, this perfume is just an accident.

In some poorly made perfumes, the combination of gourmand vanilla and i guess citrus creates a scent that tries to mimic cake or caramel but ends up smelling extremely cheap and unpleasant. That’s exactly the issue with this perfume. I’ve never tried DG Devotion, so I can’t say if it’s a dupe or not, but it definitely smells like a very cheap knockoff of those familiar vanilla-gourmand perfumes we’ve been seeing since the 2010s.

So before testing it, I was wondering why no one likens this to D&G Devotion or Zara A Sweet pastry in Paris etc. It's a grourmand citrus afterall. Well it's because this is 1:1 Brit for Women by Burberry, which is 21 years old and no one seems to remember it. I do tho. It is ingrained in my memory. Trust. It is sweet plastic vanilla. Do not expect the sweet and sour citrus of Devotion or A Sweet pastry in Paris or any real citrus for that matter. Another case of test before you buy! Even if it costs €15 on sale.

Please people, stop voting before you have even smelled the perfume. Has absolutely nothing to do with devotion, or sweet pastry etc, this is rebottled evening flowers from last year, with some tiny changes. Does not correspond to the notes declared. I have evening flowers and see no need to purchase this one, but if you missed that one last year, this is a good subsitute.

This is so bad. The dry down is a very basic pleasant vanilla but the citrus in this is sharp and toilet cleaner vibes. I can vaguely see why you would compare it to devotion d&g but it’s not even a remotely close dupe. Sad I wasted my money on this. There are plenty of good Zara perfumes. This is NOT one of them.

I tried it at the store and I think it's nice. I'm not getting vanilla devotion but a citrusy/fruity scent. To me it smells like piña colada. A plain sweet perfume, nice for summer and affordable. Not interesting enough for me, but pleasant.

Smells nice. Nothing ground breaking a light citrus vanilla. I bought a bottle yesterday and still giving the wear test. It’s a nice summer sweet fragrence. Does not smell anything like d&g devotion.

Smell like lemond cake, maybe a bit like dishwash with vanilla
