Opens with something similar to pencil shavings/ink with some type of dark juicy berry and dries to a woody/leathery type smell with a slight hint of a dark berry. Sure I'm explaining the actual notes in an odd way, but that's exactly how it smells to me. I never smelled any of those notes individually to be able to pick out each one. Just giving an idiots point of view on this scent. This scent lasts around 6 hours on my skin and projects for around 1 hour. I love the smell of this even though the above description might sound a bit off, but it's very seductive and pulls you in. I don't think this would be a good blind buy, but it doesn't smell synthetic to me. I would rate it an 8 in terms of quality/cost.

Top/opening is strong pear with bergamot and iris. Base/drydown is delicious (not gourmand), warm and sweet woods/leather. Sillage is weak/moderate. Projects for about 30 minutes. On my skin sits for about 3 hours, but just as a skin scent. On clothes undetectable after about 6 hours. I really like the scent, mainly drydown. I would love something like this, but without pear and with better performance. Any suggestions? ;-)
