Vibrant Caramel

I've been foraging around in my vast and unorganised collection to try and find the sample of Prada Paradox I know I have somewhere so I can do a compare... I can't find it so sod it. I have no idea if this is a dupe for Paradox/Paradox Intense but at the price I paid for Vibrant Caramel, it stands on its own. It's a creamy floral once you get past the slightly harsh opening with a delightful mix of white florals, vanilla and sweet accords. One of the best from Zara IMHO. Longevity is a bit weak but at this price point who cares? It lasts better on fabric than skin. As others have said I don't get the name... no caramel in here to my nose and if you want a caramel scent from Zara perhaps try Caramel Temptation instead.

I have tested Paradoxe and Paradoxe intense and this IS an amazing dupe. I would say it lies somewhere in between the two. If you love Paradoxe but want to spend under $30 then this is your girl, although her dress isn't as pretty. No shame in a little overspray here. I was impressed with Paradoxe intense longevity and silage as it runs eternal. Vibrant Caramel runs moderate and within arms length with overspray so can be office safe. I personally love this scent and it's lovely price tag. I'm enjoying mine ☺️

Comparing Vibrant Caramel with Prada paradox it has a soapier start, with the apple blossom, tangerine, and bergamot creating a fresh, floral fruity feel. It has a similar vibe but lacks the pear, making it less sweet in the beginning. The muskiness is noticeable early on, likely due to a synthetic musk that isnt listed in the notes. As it settles, it becomes sweeter, and the vanilla starts to show up more, eventually turning into a praline vanilla base that gives it a warmer, more gourmand finish.

I instantly fell in love with this because it is 100% dupe of Golden Rule by PHLUR. It does not project or last as long as GR but they are identical in smell. I am obsessed with GR so the moment I sprayed Vibrant Caramel I knew I had to have it. It’s stunning. If you like this but want it to last, get GOLDEN RULE BY PHLUR!!

I love it. It ́s a juicy, fruity, flowery scent. Sweet, but not cloying. It reminds me of Paradoxe, but it is not a 100 percent clone. It has something different in it. I don ́t get anything green. Fantastic for summer nights. One thing I don ́t understand is its name. There is no caramel in it.

im in love with this!!! i have the night collection one, it feels powdery on me and i can definitely smell the apple blossom in it! first spray is a bit too strong for me but once it sits on your skin youre left with a really warm cozy powdery sweet vanilla scent!

Absolutely Stunnig can be worn day or night it’s so peachy fleshy and juicy also very nostalgic to my nose took me back to my child hood and reminded me of my hard tiny cabbage patch dolls with the scented head defo repeat repurchase and instant love 🥰

As a Paradoxe DNA lover, I had to try Vibrant Caramel. It's very close. I would almost say it's halfway between Paradoxe and Paradoxe Intense. Longevity and projection are weak.

I blind bought this after watching some reviews, i have the prada paradoxe to compare and i’m giving it about a 85% similarity. I love love love it.

This is almost identical to the Prada Paradoxe, it becomes lighter after drying down, a nice alternative for those who can't buy Paradoxe

So the rumors are true - this is, indeed, a dupe for Prada Paradoxe. And once you get past the alcoholic opening (give it 5-6 min) it is actually pretty good. The longevity is far from the OG but it is still pretty decent - I get 4-5 hours, but hey, I paid 11 EUR for 90 ml, it is more than worth the money. I just wish they made a small 30 ml bottle so I can carry it around and reapply.

Its definitely good, similar to Prada Paradox but to me is mixed with Scandal? Idk why but i feel its because the Praline note is so strong in this it smells like a gourmand after the dry down

Love this but the nozzle sprays out in a way I don't like. Same with Red Vanilla (which smells nothing like vanilla, by the way). It's a fresh caramel

It is a good dupe for Prada Paradoxe, it’s slightly different though, more gourmand than floral!

For a fragrance called caramel I though it would smell more like ... caramel, which it does not, to my surprise. Only if they were thinking of fruity caramels instead. It opens kind of boozy which is most likely the citrus and sugar combo, not bad but a bit synthetic so not that delicious. Now I know why someone resold me a new bottle for 5 EUR. If they were expecting a juicy caramel then I can imagine their disappointment. To me it is interesting as I want to understand why the Zara fragrance designer thought to use this name - so, like with many mystery fragrances, I will give it a few months to develop and see if it is just shy. I own several caramel fragrances that do smell like caramel so I have reference to compare. At the moment this mostly smells like orange blossom + sugar and a hint of coco powder, the florals make it soapy/ lightly sharp synthetic. I guess is quite a niche fragrance as maybe someone was looking for a soapy/powdery orange candy? Vibe - you forgot to take out your orange flavored candy from your coat and washed it. I don't mean it is bad just very... unique. For now NOT A SWEET CARAMEL fragrance! - take note those looking for a gourmand, more of a soapy floral with a sweet powdery coco background.

smells like straight maple syrup and that synthetic vanilla which is not bad but very in your face (like that one bath and body works warm vanilla). im not saying its bad but not something i would like to smell like; maybe a candle version of it would smell would be amazing. i dont smell the citrus at all but if you want to smell like a buttery syrupy pancake this is perfect for you.

I like this but I wish the citrus note lasted longer :( the dry down smells exactly like golden decade

To my nose it is Prada Paradoxe infused with Red Temptation by Zara. I hate Red Temptation, so this was an instant no for me.

Opening makes me sick every time. Dry down is better. I just cannot. I bought in the store...why didi I buy!!!!

Clearly an atempted Prada Paradoxe clone. I'd only say a partly successful one though. The opening is where it's closest to the Prada, sweet, juicy, fruity. When you smell it at this point you think you are getting a very close clone. As the moves into the middle notes it however changes and moves away from the Prada. It's slightly fuzzy and generally fruity. It lacks the interesting interplay between fresher fruity notes and sweeter background that the Prada has at this stage of the scent. In the drydown the scent falls apart a bit to my nose. It becomes fairly green, which was a surprise for me. A fresh cut grass or leaves kind of note is clearly present at this stage alongside the fruity sweetness. A bit strange a fairly far from the Prada. Overall I'd say ask yourself what you want from this scent. Do you want a Prada Paradoxe clone? Then I'd say wait, I'm sure Zara will tweak and improve the formula and release more fragrances that will be closer to the original, considering how popular that one is. Do you want a scent that is in the same category as Prada Paradoxe, but is less sweet, a bit fuzzier and with a strange but interesting green note in the drydown? Then give this one a try, it might be a summery version of Paradoxe for you and it doesn't cost much.

Sprayed this on my hand at Zara and I can't stop sniffing my hand. So delicious. I get a very fresh, citrusy caramel but it's probably praline. I don't find it similar to Prada Paradox tbh, I think that one is much more flower forward. I don't get any flower on this one. Paradox has the jasmine that this doesn't for example. This with Golden Decade or YSL Libre would be BOMB! I'm probably gonna get this to layer with golden decade in winter.

Just bought it, smells very clean, amazing, although not at all like caramel on my skin. It has something similar to Golden Decade. Also, it does not last for long. I cannot smell it after 2h, but for the price it can be re-sprayed without guilt.

If you're hoping to get paradoxe dupe smell it first because you might get disappointed. It does resemble it at first but the dry down is completely different in my opinion. It's heavier, and therefore I would not recommend it as a blind buy.

To me it smells just like YSL Libre. At the beginning can smell fruits, and after when it dried down is literally dupe for Libre, it last a really long time on my skin.

Smells like a mixture of Prada paradox intense and black opium, and is more of an evening fragrance to me. Longevity is around 2-3 hours on my skin.

To me it's just a more feminine version of YSL Libre. And it’s surprisingly strong 🫡
