Vibrant Leather for Her 2021

Zara has been outdoing itself ever since Jo Malone started collaborating with their fragrance making process - and I hope they never separate- they're like a marriage made in heaven and need to continue doing their magic. The leather here is so soft, so perfect for a woman. This could easily be a unisex perfume, as either a man or a woman can pull it off, but for a woman it's just special. This has been specially blended to suit a woman with character, with her head held high full of pride from her accomplishments. Yes, this is an accomplished woman's perfume. Definitely a chypre, but a modern one at that. Just amazingly done. I have something like this but I can't put my finger on which fragrance it really reminds me of. This was expertly done, exquisitely blended, well balanced and executed. This smells expensive, like a rich woman could have it. Yes, it smells like a rich woman, one who wears impeccable suits and a leather briefcase. This woman owns her own mansion. She wears gold earrings (real gold), and real diamonds, but she does so in a muted manner, not to call people's attention, or to boast her wealth. People know she's wealthy, but she is simple and humble about it, yet very elegant and stylish with the finest fabrics that make her taylored outfits for the office. In order to give you an approximation, this is in the same arena as Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme and Bottega Venetta. It feels like those two, mega expensive smelling frags with a major aura of sophistication. Those are in my top tier, by the way. The more I smell it, the more I fall in utter love. At this point, having so many fragrances, it is getting harder and harder to impress me, but by golly, did this one do! 🤩

An excelent fragrance, totally unisex!! I love vibrant leather for him, but this "for her" version is actually pretty solid for the price!! I get a vibe that's reminiscent of some Lacoste male scents, i think maybe one with a red bottle... Anyway, i totally recommend this to anyone that is fond of delicate/moderate but elegant scents. I personally don't like overwhelming scents that may offend some tastes, maybe because i work as a healthcare professional, but also because i usually prefer elegant and discrete fragrances to loudness and oversweetness. Overall, another solid release from Zara, one that i can share with my girlfriend without worries, with some decent longevity (maybe at least 6-7h with mild projection), perfect for any situation, even formal occasions. It's really one of those scents where the freshness and the good quality of the juice just overshadows its moderate longevity, and obviously i prefer juice quality over longevity (let's remember all those niche fragrances that have amazing scents but with poor longevity, they still are wonderful fragrances). Thank you Zara for the amazing fragrance (though not a new one, only re-released) at an amazing price!

Fab chypre unisex fruity leather and patchouli. Picked up this along with another couple of scents of this current line from Zara and strongly considering several others - the complexity and quality (let alone the price tag!) of these fragrances are impressive, as is the presentation of each. VLfH is exceedingly easy to wear, a timeless, yet modern chypre which I'll gladly wear to the office as well as out and about at the weekend. Smooth and substantial, yet made light by the currant providing an engaging tone throughout. With Zara now also working with top perfumer names on some of their fragrances, I hope these will bring an end to the snobbery surrounding much of their output. Highly impressive.

I need a backup bottle First impression - initial spray on the wrist 😍 fruity, yummy but not necessarily gourmand I can detect the patchouli but also some white floral note, I could swear is tuberose, could be Jasmine but the currant masks it so I dunno Either way if you find this one in your local Zara please grab a bottle

I really really love this! It has a fresh fruity juicyness at first spray. Then dries down to a bit of spice with a hint of leather. It reminds me of being inside a luxury handbag store, you know when you first open that brand new Louis Vuitton bag, yes it smells like that - but it is combined with some nice juicy berries. I love it so much I got 2 bottles. Must be the patchouli that smells so good and I LOVE patchouli!

after 3 years of searching... it's BACK!!!!!!! Love this fragrance. It's the fragrance equivalent of telling a girl, "You look like your dad." Very feminine and pretty, but there is a masculine undercurrent that stays with you the whole time. Vanilla and floral, without the 'white florals' and 'perfume' smell.

It smells cold and cigarette'ish. A girl with black messy straight hair and dead white skin, smoking her cigarette near the door of a library in winter. Has relatively thin coat on, purple hands bcs of the cold. Waiting for her friend to arrive to enter the building. Cold, but comforting smell.

Incredibly fresh and invigorating but not like shampoo, more soothing and comforting with an uplifting undertone. A perfect combination of tart and earthy. Its so satisfying🥰

Ok am back with my 2nd review. I am begining to love this. its soo fresh,clean . I think this is my favourite of the chapter collections. am in love now

I’ve been on the look out for this scent ever since I saw it in a Zara fragrance review video in 2021. Finally got my hands on it this year NIB through a third party seller. The fragrance opens with a very bright bergamot, juicy and watery tart red currant, and fresh patchouli. In the dry down, the leather and musky patchouli are a lot more prominent. It isn’t animalic or raw leather, but more of a soft treated leather, reminiscent of a restored vintage leather jacket or car interior. There is also a subtle vanilla note and fruitiness that keeps everything from getting too earthy. On my skin, I also get a blonde wood note that ties everything together. This fragrance is a mild, but modern chypre that is inoffensive and appropriate for every day and work wear, I can imagine this smelling beautiful on cooler summer nights/days, spring, fall, and winter. It sits close to the skin during the dry down, but projects moderately and has a scent bubble during the beginning and middle of the fragrance, and lasted on my skin for 12 hours. After a shower, I can still faintly smell it on the skin I tested it on. It’s unisex, but leans a little masculine. This is one of my “clean cool girl” scents that doesn't lean into laundry detergent, skin, or soapy territory. Not the most exciting or unique in my collection, but a likeable scent. I’ll be trying it with a vanilla lotion, body oil, and perfume to hit that vanilla note a little more. Overall, It’s a safe blind buy if you like soft leather, fruitchouli, and freshies. If you can find a bottle of this in the US for a good price, I can recommend it. But it is definitely not worth a $70+ resell price.

About two years ago i smelled it for the first time and i regretted not buying it such a fab scent however it doesn’t last long like most zara fragrances still very pretty and classy i love the smell, seen some say it’s great as a unisex fragrance i still think it leans more feminine but could work for both genders for sure I also like the bottle simple but pretty Only downsides are the longevity and the atomizer is very short and quick still glad they brought this one back!

i tried it two years ago and wanted to purchase but it was constantly out of stock. Then it disappeared completely and I kinda regretted i couldn’t get my hands on it. Finally, it’s available again and now I have it! it’s a big like for this scent, it opens fruity and kind of hair spray smell but then evolves into beautiful aromatic chypre like fragrance. Definitely has similarities with vibrant leather for him but more fruity and playful. good value for the price.

You really have to appreciate patchouli and leather for this one. It can even lean a little masculine. This is something you may want to try first because it's not a cookie cutter floral, fruity, sweet fragrance you may smell so often. This one is a little edgy but doesn't go into rebel. I have more rebellious fragrances in my collection. Very nice, different, and off the path when you're ready for it. I like it very much.

Fruity (berries!) patchouli, no leather detected. A strong like. It’s one of those that smells amazingly alluring in the air but a tad synthetic up close. The base lingered until the next day on my skin, but the projection is only enormous for the first 2-3 hours. I think I prefer this scentwise, as the ‘medicinal’ quality isn’t there. Can’t go wrong for the price. Zara has been doing well lately with their long bottles.

I think Vibrant Leather for Her is fine.... It smells lovely, very fruity and yummy but not "teen." The only thing wrong with it is that I've smelled it so many times before. Its a wonderful and unoriginal sweet, wet, fruity scent.

This smells like creed Aventus for her, but a bit more mild and not as spicy. But I love it so much. If you're looking for another creed Aventus dupe that has better lasting and projection power than Zara-- try Oakcha Akimbo!

This scent comes off almost aquatic as a result of feeling slightly watered down. The colour of the juice really reflects what you are getting with this perfume. Sweet but watery red current - perfect autumn scent 😊👍.

Vibrant Leather: it's OK; I get a bright, zesty top note that makes me think of orange juice (though not listed... perhaps it's the redcurrant, I am not sure), then a bit of sort of ambery sunny warmth and the leather itself, which is quite an artificial leather. It's quite bright and optimistic, whereas I usually expect leather to be a lot more sultry than this. There are vanilla pods in the advert, and I sort of do get a bit of vanilla-ry sweetness to this bright and light spray. This doesn't last, or project well. Probably best used as a bright, fresh "splash" for summer as an alternative to heavier aftershaves for a young person? This is the "For Her" version but even so I think it's quite masculine-leaning. I'm not afraid at all to wear masculine-leaning scents, but this just isn't strong enough for my taste. It's very inoffensive and I can't picture reaching for it much. I don't really do "bright and understated" when I wear perfume, lol. Vibrant Leather is the only fragrance of this Zara collection (I bought three) that wasn't outstanding. I thoroughly recommend Red Temptation, for a gorgeous, touch-me-I'm-delicious slinky-sexy powder/amber cocktail that lasts and lasts, and Rose Gourmand, which is basically a shameless (and incredibly good) dupe for those vintage/dusty rose style frags that are typical of Montale and Mancera, without quite the same degree of heaviness (I genuinely prefer Zara Rose Gourmand to Montale Intense Cafe) .

This had the potential to be pretty good but it's definitely lacking something and feels incomplete. It has a slight sweetness and is a decent intro to leather fragrances since the leather is subtle but definitely detectable. It's kind of boring and I can't really see myself reaching for this unless I wanted to use it for layering purposes. It's way too boring on it's own. Meh.

This opens with fresh and juicy red currants. Very light and refreshing. Then it sets down to a deeper and more complex mixture of patchouli and leather. Lasting power could be better, but for the price I can't complain. On skin I got around 5 hours, on clothes around 12. I think this is unisex. Beautiful and interesting scent!

Unisex freshie, leans slightly masculine. The soft, mild leather and herbal earthiness are really pleasant but I find the initial vibrant sour notes/red currant too sharp and synthetic. Moderate sillage, strong longevity - one spray lasts a full day on me.

A watery Euphoria by Calvin Klein. The patchouli in it has no depth and you get the leather note, too. But it is a frayed one ...

Oh, so I totally mixed this up with True Leather... Not sure you can fault me for it though. I only get something... citrus-sweet so far. Very light & fresh, not unpleasant but I'll count it a miracle if the patchouli & leather do show up. I'll keep updating this review. Edit: I've been wearing this for 2 days. No leather, no patchouli. It's like spraying myself with... something like sweetened cranberry juice. It's nothing you could reasonably expect from the title. The 2 pros would be that this doesn't tick my nose off during my period & the bottle is of an exceptional quality. I'll still consider it a waste of money. Edit: And the one phase it does have doesn't last long at all. Body mist quality in a misguidingly good bottle.

If you let it patiently develop in your skin, you will notice all fruity top notes disappear, and the thickness of the leather mellow in some woody pineapple notes on a light patchouli base. The opening was a bit of a harsh cheap mess to me, until it took its time to reveal itself completely. It’s like ... Ombré Leather notes balanced out with some Aventus notes and bridged with some nice cool but smooth patchouli. What sounds like a more masculine leaning unisex combination, is really nice on a woman. I’m glad I didn’t dismiss it after the first sniff and gave it a chance. If you like the perfumes I mentioned - just blind buy this one, but be patient with it. Another resemblance that comes to mind is Cedre Atlas Atelier Cologne - which is Aventus + Light Blue, which makes it woodier, while vibrant leather is slightly fruitier, but it’s the same sheer feeling. And mind it - Cedre Atlas leaves more intense chemical smell on your jacket lingering for days ahead, while with Zara (believe it or not, after comparing the price tags) the lingering “molecules” smell is ever so slight. Good job Zara! Yet again ...

I like it. Maybe not a love, a big like. It's different from all I have (as I don't have many leather fragances), but at the same time I think I fits into the same category as Libre from YSL or Nómade from Chloe. They are not the same, but they are unisex leaning, a little citric, a little sweet and with an aftershave vibe. On my skin it becomes a little bit powdery in the drydown. I like this kind of scents as I can wear them in different moods and temperatures. This perfume could be difficult for someone who like sweet and girly types of scents. It's not a teenager kind of perfume. I would say, from your 20's and up. Good longevity (not bestmode thought) and short projection on my skin. In my opinion, it's has a little edge and it's, and that's what I like the most.

Bought this a couple weeks ago and love it. Not sure if it's been reformulated but the current marketing verbiage from their website is below and notes are accurate to my nose. I get mostly bergamot, patchouli and vanilla. It's quite unisex with good sillage to boot. An elegant fusion of citrus and sweetness, combining top notes of bergamot with juicy pear, leather, and vanilla accords. P.S. The actual front of the current box says...Captures the feminine essence from leather and woods with an addictive vanilla-like trail

I do get an impression of light leather from this one with sweet fruits. It’s a good perfume for the office. I don’t love it enough to repurchase but I do like it and for the price I will definitely use up my bottle guilt free. Update. I’m very drawn to this, it’s addictive even. I take back my previous statement and say that I will repurchase a backup bottle.

It feels like it's one of those rare and beautiful zara perfumes but the name isn't right. It's like a floral bouquet, plus some men's aftershave vibes and I don't mean this in a bad way. I don't really know about leather though. Also it feels a bit more spring/summery to me. Again, I think the name is confusing.

Just tried it today, I think it has the typical Zara fruity DNA; I also tried Red Temptation and in my humble opinion it is more original and smells more expensive for the price; I was expecting some delicious leather and I just smell the fruity part in this perfume. I'm glad I didn't blind buy.

I liked it at first, but i absolutely hate this. I wanted to like it like everyone else but its such a two-dimensional smell. I'm not that mad that i dont like it, since it was a cheap buy, but I have smelled way better fragrances from zara. Smell this first before u buy.

Bought this a few months ago. Great packaging. Smells expensive. Patchouli is strong in the middle. It’s not my favourite but my boyfriend consistently compliments me when I wear this so it must smell good to others. Good longevity, about 4-8 hours.

Floral mostly with a hint of leather. It smells good but it's not very special, I gave my bottle away.

A nice and affordable go-to fruitchouli scent. I expect depth in this scent, but it's watered down.

Reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie as well, just more simple, and sort of faint, not strong
