Vibrant Leather Oud

Vibrant Leather, or rather, Zara's premium leather, is undeniably inspired by Creed's Aventus. Aventus is a landmark in perfumery, we all know that, and Zara paid homage to it in its own way. Jerome Epinette, known for his work at Byredo, created the premium flanker of Vibrant Leather, a fragrance that eliminates the fruity note of the original Vibrant Leather—specifically, the pineapple—and replaces it with a twist reminiscent of Violenta, with a more pronounced smokiness. The structure is almost visual: for the first 10 minutes, you perceive an aged bergamot, like the peel of a dried citrus fruit, before the smoky leather emerges behind that curtain, crowned with an undeclared violet note, most likely a combination of woody and incense notes. It claims to have oud, but frankly, anyone who knows oud will tell you it has nothing resembling oud, not even cypriol to attempt at oud. Without the notes, this smells like an elegant leather jacket—not vinyl, but animalic, smoky, like a man smoking while sipping whiskey on the rocks—rugged but immaculate, masculine without being vulgar. You could say it bears a resemblance to Dior's Fahrenheit pearl, as if Vibrant Leather Oud were its modern, somewhat more minimalist version, obviously keeping in mind that they're not the same. It lasts 6 hours, projects well for 2 hours, with a mid-to-high range, then becomes a skin scent. It's a dry leather and amber fragrance until the end, when the violet and incense calm down and the smoky aspect fades. The leather sets the pace of the fragrance, making it ideal for casual events. It's versatile, although its performance seems strongest in temperate climates. It could be an option for offices. For me, it's Zara's 4/4, a hidden masterpiece in the fashion world, different enough not to be just another Aventus dupe. It has a lot of character—that's its very definition—a distinct and unique character. While it doesn't invent anything new, it's clearly a different fragrance. The quality is good considering the price, as is its performance. I want to emphasize that it's a completely masculine fragrance. Anyone 25 and older can wear it without any problem. I think anyone can wear it. If you're a fan of warm, woody scents, this is for you. If you don't like those kinds of scents, I still encourage you to try it. It's Zara's masterpiece by far.

Vibrant Leather Oud, elegancia amaderada a precio de derribo. Aroma y Versatilidad Estamos ante un perfume sumamente elegante y polivalente. Es un auténtico todoterreno, adecuado para casi cualquier ocasión, con una sola excepción, mejor descartarla para el calor del verano al aire libre. Sin embargo, si tienes una reunión formal, una cena o una cita en un entorno cerrado y climatizado, se defiende de maravilla incluso en época estival. Lo que más llama la atención es su perfil olfativo, coronado por unas notas amaderadas brutales que te otorgan una presencia impecable y sofisticada desde el primer minuto. Rendimiento y Evolución Su talón de Aquiles es la longevidad. En piel ofrece una duración aproximada de 3 a 4 horas. A pesar de esto, por el coste que tiene, llevar un decant y reaplicar no supone ningún drama. Un detalle clave a tener en cuenta es que la fragancia asienta, si la dejas reposar, el jugo mejora ligeramente con los meses, ganando algo de cuerpo. El Factor Cumplidos y Exclusividad Es un imán de cumplidos fácil y directo. La gran ventaja que tiene a día de hoy es que no está tan masificada ni "quemada" olfativamente como Club de Nuit Intense Man o la Vibrant Leather original. Todavía puedes sorprender con ella y desmarcarte del resto, sin arriesgar mucho. Veredicto Final Cuesta 12 euros a enero de 2026, lo cual es una absoluta barbaridad para la calidad compositiva que ofrece. Mi consejo es claro, haceos con ella mientras siga disponible en los estantes. Personalmente, la alterno en mi rotación con Ikiru de Mercadona, y es una combinación que no falla. En resumen, un acierto indispensable y una joya perfecta para todos los que queremos oler increíble moviéndonos en un rango de precios modestos.

I purchased 2 bottles the other day because I don’t see this scent to often, in stores anyway. This is almost exactly like Vibrant leather, but has a bigger emphasis on the bergamot and replaces the bamboo from Vibrant leather and switches it for the oud. It’s not a barnyard oud, but more like a very soft and subtle oud, very soft. It also has a small petrol vibe that you would find in Zara scent #3 but not as pronounced. As a person who has tons of Zara colognes I can recognize when some smell like others. Ignore the pyramid here too. It seems whoever is responsible for the Zara pyramids on this site only gives them 3 notes. Zara does have colognes with 3 notes in a lot of them, but the higher end stuff like this one price wise, there is a lot more going on here. The smoke in here is from the violet and not a birch tar type of smoke, let’s just be clear about that. It smells really good, and goes in a different direction from Vibrant leather, but in my opinion Vibrant leather is a way cleaner and more complimented scent from my experience. Vibrant leathers lemon and bamboo combo is outstanding. I’d also like to add that there is no way that this is an EDP. If this VLO is an EDP then I’m a millionaire, and let me be clear about that too, I’m definitely not.This is good though, but I’ll stick with the original Vibrant leather. This is a solid 8/10 for me.

Warning: This review is for 25 Elixir version, not available on fragrantica yet. This one became one of the worst and synthetic blends with bad performance to an actually interesting and long lasting fragrance. The notes, what you are getting as the DNA is exactly similar but it is a bit less harsh and less synthetic oud to my nose. Fruity apple, vibrant kumqat dries down to leather and violet, at the base you will get incense and some oud. If you like the original EDP version for Vibrant Leather, Bogoss or this one go buy the Elixir versions. They are one of the best surprises happened this year. People are underestimating Zara fragrances while they are unironically releasing fragrances that surpresses many designer releases in 25, both smell and performance wise.

Quite interesting Zara EDP! (Even tho it could be argued if it really IS an edp - since it is actually only fills the requirement for an edt.) ANYway; It has an intense opening and an short dry down. Some similarities to Creed Aventus, which is not a very unique thing - as there are many clones. But if you are looking for a frag that somewhat matches the 10x more expensive version, that actually has tolerable performance - then buy this one. It contains very little OUD, But What it lacks there, it gains in notes of AMBER. The people who say it is exactly like Creed, don’t know what they are talking about. It has moderate performance and is actually quite close I find it quite similar to "Black Citrus" by Vilhelm Parfumerie - I like that.
