Vibrant Leather Warm

It is very similar to White Soho but not identical (at least not my 20 ml VL Warm travel bottle). I guess it's sweetened and sharpened with some spices from its colleague VL Metal. Kind of like White Soho (90%) + (10%) VL Metal/Spicebomb = VL Warm. Can anyone confirm this observation? I've got them both on my wrists and I actually prefer the smell of White Soho! Ironically a warmer scent. VL Warm would go well under the name of White Soho Winter. EDIT: I've just experimentally sniffed VL Metal first and then VL Warm. Now that I desensitized myself to VL Metal, I got 99% resemblance of VL Warm to White Soho lol. So basically I subtracted certain notes of VL Warm. Funny how our senses work. EDIT 2 (Feb 2024): So that was about the 20 ml travel spray of VL Warm. Recently I got my hands on a 100 ml version and it has no trace of Spicebomb whatsoever - it is indeed 98% similar to White Soho. It lacks its peppery opening though (which I adore) and I think White Soho is executed slightly better. Now I'm wondering what VL Platinum 100/60 ml smelled like! It is included in a 5x20 ml set in the middle between the OG, Oud, Metal and Warm and this version of Platinum does indeed reveal hints of VL Metal (as if they used one pipette to pour the fragrances).

Every time I smell this perfume I feel a refreshing mist. Smells luxury, in a way classy. Not too sophisticated, not too basic. I can imagine a businessman rocking this perfume out, only if... it lasted! While the perfume is amazing at a first glance, what I hate is that it doesn't last more than 30 minutes on my skin. It has a very low, intimate sillage ever since the first spray on my skin. I've been desperately trying to find a perfume to match the vibe this one is giving me. If someone wants one like this but with more longevity, hear me out. Today I had someone smell it. They gave me a Hugo Boss Bottled to compare Warm with and the top notes smell very close to Zara's VL Warm indeed. I try out perfumes almost every day and this is the closest I could get to.

Smells like a beautiful Byredo perfume, with the longevity of a beautiful Byredo skin scent that disappears after a few minutes. If this was a bit louder I would wear it everyday. Minimal and clean, I get a little citrus in the opening and musk from the ambrette, which fades to the most beautiful sandalwood/iris combo. I've been overspraying this to death to get some kind of longevity but aside from that its a very happy blind buy. I would love to buy an "upgrade" for this though!

I love the smell of this perfume so much! It's really unfortunate that he has such poor performance. I am looking for an alternative which would have a better longevity. If you have any suggestions.

Still missing this beautiful fragrance. I have a half bottle but can’t use it because i never want it to finish. Hope zara will bring it back to life!..

MASSIMO DUTTI WHITE EVENING. Thank me later, they don't smell identical, but that's the vibe, you'll love it just as much as Zara's perfume.

They say some frags really take time to develop once a little bit of oxygen gets in the bottle. I'm merely a journeyman hobbyist so I'm not really in a position to verify the accuracy of that, but I will say Vibrant Leather Warm ABSOLUTELY got better after I started using it a bit. I find it to be a nice, waxy musk with light florals that take the musk's edge off. It has zero bitterness like the regular Vibrant Leather has (that bitterness isn't even bad-- just a different scent profile) and the iris adds a crowd pleasing, youthful element without being irritating or clubby. The "woodsy note" listed as base reminds me more of a light patchouli. There's no cedar or barky-ness that one might conjure when they try to imagine an abstract descriptor like "woodsy note". I've grown to really like this one over time and I think it's appropriate all year round (though it may shine best during spring and summer daytime). Contrary to what others have said, this frag actually performs THE BEST out of all the other Zara scents I own. It's definitely worth throwing down for a 20ml if anyone's descriptions have you intrigued.

Very clean and light cedar-Ambrox-Iso E Super-musk fragrance, very much unisex. Like a naked version of D&G Light Blue for women with hint of violet/iris. It’s near perfection, and once again proof that no matter what the price tag, you won’t get a marginally better scent with such perfume type. Too bad it is not found anymore. Those who love The Body Shop White Musk for men would like this as well. Or Glossier - You, Bal'd Afrique etc. for similar but overpriced style. Though on full use I didn't find anything that compares to it. Drydown smells like Ambrettolide x Habanolide musks combo...So subtle simple yet complex. Anyone who is here to check it out for powdery iris, don’t. There is violet (ionones) and cyclamen aldehyde though. Longevity is deceptively good as well as its sillage. This thing radiates crazy but never shouts, pure class in perfume form IMO.

I'm going to echo what most everyone has already said... great scent but terrible performance. Would be a 10/10 but the performance is absolutely abysmal. It should be advertised as a bathwater fragrance and not a perfume. Guerlain's new water fragrances have more projection than this. I literally have to spray myself ALL OVER to even smell it on myself let alone get any kind of sillage. It really is a tragedy though because it's one of my favorite scents of all time. It's androgynous pixie dust perfection! If someone finds a stronger version of this DNA, PLEASE SHARE THE INTEL! I have a number of iris forward fragrances, but none smell like this. *Just got a bottle of Molecule 01. Gonna try layering with this and see if it helps the performance. Will keep everyone posted. Longevity 4/10 Sillage 1/10 Scent 10/10

Same as the comment below.. still have half a bottle that I use very sparingly.. it’s light and musky and warm but airy and so nice. It sits close to the skin and had a bad performance. What I noticed is that after left alone for so long it became somewhat warmer and lasts a bit longer. Clean, airy, warm irisand ambrette. Love it hope they bring it back. I do also own synth aura and yeah all though the vibe is similar they have nothing in common. Synth aura is way woodier (an iso e super bomb). And definitely colder in a way but they do surely serve the same purpose.

One of Zara best, despite having anything to do with Vibrant Leather other than the name. It's the old White Soho in a new bottle, and having missed out on that I am really glad of this Zara cheeky habit now. The performance is great even if it tricks you in thinking the opposite at the start. You think to have nothing on and then you start having whiffs of this all day and on clothes for days after spraying a couple of times. Discontinued so start praying they do the rebottle trick again and stay tuned.

This perfume is way too floral and sweet to even be considered unisex. There's nothing masculine about it. After a few hours the base note still lingers on my wrist, given how few notes there are in this perfume it's in a consistent state with no evolving, like a low hum it blends into the background, but when you pay attention you can smell it. For $50 in my country I definitely wouldn't bother buying when more complex and long-lasting perfumes can be bought for cheaper.

Smells like papery iris. If you're looking for something similar with better performance, I recommend Glossier You $$, Houbigant Iris des Champs $$$ or Veronique Gabai Le Point G. $$$$ * Please note that anyone comparing this to Bal D'Afrique or Aventus is thinking of the original Vibrant Leather, and not the warm edition. This warm edition is almost straight up dry iris. There's no citrus whatsoever.

ok, today i smelled this in person, hoping to find a dupe of Zara White Soho, which has been discontinued. i u understand where people are coming from saying it's the same, but it's as if u took White Soho DNA, diluted it 20:80 with iso E super and alcohol, then u'd get vibrant leather warm. it's not as perfumy as white soho, it's literally the background noise.

Frabra88 - Can you tell some fragrances ruined with an overdose of Ambroxan? I don’t know many. This smells like the same scent as previous release as far as I can tell, if not better. I have both bottles old and new and yet to find differences. My old bottle could even be more muted in the opening, could be the age difference and not the formula.

To my nose, this smells a lot like both Glossier You and Juliet Has a Gun - Not a Perfume. I never tried white soho so I can speak on that comparison. This is a very lovely warm skin scent. No silage at all, sits very close to the skin. For the price, I quite like it and would recommend trying. Not great longevity though.

For me, it’s really close to Ariana God is a women by cutting down the sweet-fruity notes. In my view it’s unisex. I agreed with the comments, It’s really great but poor performance .. gone so fastttttttt !!!!!

A pleasant musk to begin with, but dies down immediately. Probably the worst performer in my collection.

Zara White Soho in a new bottle

Nice smell..but lasts all of 10 mins only

What a shame, this is actually an amazing scent but longevity, oh dear. I'm not kidding when i say that this last only for 10 minutes even on clothes, worst performer ever on a Zara fragrance, just don't buy it. 2,5/10

This is excellent summer scent. I can`t belive that somebody said it is stay only 10 minutes. On my skin stay all day long, even after bath. For me this scent is ideal for summer days. I don`t know how and why but for me there is something similar to D&G Light blue for women... that`s why i said it is unisex.... however... i like it

The perfume is disappearing from Zara's online stores again, so I assume they were selling off the remnants of the previous release of Vibrant Leather Warm. I bought it and couldn’t understand the hype around this fragrance: it practically doesn’t smell. Perhaps maceration and time are needed to enhance the scent?

Smells wonderful, sits very close to the skin, and lasts at the very most for 2 hours. Toned down glossier you vibe. I have a 20ml and it's going down very quickly since I have to crazy overspray to smell something. Because of the friendly price point, I'm still thinking about buying a full bottle of it.

Here is a tip: mix this with Zara's Leather Jardin.... You'll thank me , I’m sure as it creates this wonderful sweet / warm scent that makes me think of a high end one but can’t find it at the moment in my scent memory. Anyone , if you tried it , maybe you’ll find the one I mean .

I've been looking for this scent for my friend for a long time. Is Molecule 01 the same as this scent? Has anyone tried this? Or is there another perfume similar to this scent?

The 2024 release (about time, Zara!!) it's closer to White Soho compared to the 2022 version. Slightly stronger and with a bit of a sweeter note after the opening.

It’s back! I really missed this fragrance. I’ve been using it since White Soho and couldn’t find anything like this.

Notes on the 2024 edition : Ambrette Seeds, Green Apple, Orris, White Woods, Ambroxan, Sandelwood

White Soho clone definitely, but much poorer performance. I have them both.

Please tell me that they didn't ruin this with an overdose of ambroxan
