Vibrant Leather Winter

Very citric, masculine and fresh, it is curious that is called "winter" but i ́d say this one brings winter to that hot weather if you get what i mean, in other words its refreshing and perfect for Spring and Summer too. Reminds me of the OG CH 212 H2O with hints of Bvlgari Man Black (the silver and black bottle) its like the perfect mixture of those 2 perfumes, i wear it everyday, the notes listed here are different from what can be perceived on the new green blueish bottle. I ́d call for Citrus, Woods, and hints of Leather with White flowers. Doesn ́t last that long, but its very decent given its price! If you see it, go smell it and dont think twice, BUY IT! Its my favourite from the cheap ones on my collection!

The green bottles are on sale now. The notes aren't right I think....who voted for those?? Anyway winter's longetivity kinda similar to the newer og...2-3 hours and gone..hardly can smell...just overspray them madly and still doesn't last....gonna let it sit somewhere first

Back in stock in a dark turquoise bottle. People selling it as a rarity are gonna be pissed 😅 Tested it today and, as far as I remember, smells like the OG VL Winter and the first VL Intense (which supposedly was the same juice). Doesn't smell like the last VL Intense.

For anyone interested this smells exactly like Jermyn Street Collection by Taylor of Old Bond Street. Very easy and pleasent scent.

It resembles Cedrat Boise, but the fruity juiciness isn’t as syrupy – it has more of a sweet freshness. Definitely not for the peak of the heat, but fine for all other seasons. Longevity in the air is about 2 hours, yet on the skin it’s surprisingly long-lasting edit: I have 2024 bottle (dark blue)

I got the green bottle version. This one was my entry to perfumes and I always thought it is so average. It doesn't last long at all, 1h for me and it's gone and I have to overspray again. I did atleast get one compliment on it, projects better in the cold.

Totally agree with the review directly below. Just from testing this at the store, it's the Aventus/Vibrant Leather DNA with a fougere, shaving cream/barbershop-type vibe. I really liked it and would consider buying a bottle if the price drops. Here in Japan it's about $30 but I'd only pay $20 for it. UPDATE: The new version in the green bottle has different notes. I don't think it's as much a fougere type anymore. I got a bottle and have been wearing it often. Simply put, to me this is VL with a plum note instead of the citrus. Average performance. 2nd Update: It does kinda smell like Absolu Aventus, but without the pineapple note. If you layered this with VL Bogoss Winter, you'd be very close to Absolu Aventus.

Not sure why I dismissed VL Intense and Winter all this time but to my surprise it has a very nice fougere edge underneath that typical Aventus-ey profile. Fougere as in like and old school aftershave or classic shaving foam smell of Ambrox-Coumarin-musks and Norlimbanol (what we often see as driftwood note in perfume marketing). I detect some sandalwood as well.

I hoped it would be an intense and better performing Vibrant Leather but it isn't. Has a pineapple note on top, which is good and makes it more similar to Aventus but the performance was the same as the regular Vibrant Leather. I wished Zara made a Vibrant Leather Intense with 8h longevity and 2/3 hours projection. Would be a killer.
