Vibrant Wood

When I first smelled this it reminded me of the times when car interiors were not made out of leather-like materials, but something more reminiscent of suede-like fabric, more like sofas. My dad's Opel Omega's interior seats were made of that, and they smelled somewhat similar to Vibrant Wood. The opening can be quite unpleasant, because that smell I just described comes out at full blast, but after half an hour, this becomes a rather nice skin scent, with moderate longevity, which most prominent notes are suede and cardamom. I believe I can smell some iris also, despite not being listed in the notes. I use this a lot. It is very correct and hard to dislike. Very different from the rest and very soothing. Sillage is pretty alright, and I believe this could be priced higher and still be worth it. Not a safe blind buy, though. 7/10.

If La Nuit de L'Homme and Dior Homme had a love baby.. <3 It would have been Vibrant Wood. When i wear this fragrance, so many men and women asking me what i am wearing. Unbelievable. It is masculine but also has a soft sweetness in the drydown.

This contains Iris. Immediately noticeably. It says so in the accords (well it does now) but not in the notes. I wish I had known this.

Found myself an unopened box of this gem and what a gem it is. It has nothing to do with the vibrant leather variations that Zara bring's out, this is a whole new and stand alone perfume which is quite heady and strong. This smell like a designer perfume, not something I would expect from Zara. The opening is zesty and herbaceous , the mix of lemon and artemisia creates this but quickly, very quickly even, the orris and myrrh come through, creating this velvety buttery scent. I don't detect much incense as the myrrh /orris are more overpowering and I think the teanote makes it all blend toghter as a very smooth soft leathery scent. Will update later on sillage and longevity

This smells like Montale Intense Cafe but with cardamom.
