Wednesday - I'm Most Grateful

This is an amazing dupe for Mojave Ghost. I bought this fragrance about 1 week ago because I really liked it in the store. Especially the realistic burst of pear in the opening. I was looking for an everyday pear scent when I found this one.It dries down to a floral powdery laundry scent. Now, I was curious about Mojave Ghost after trying the Zara version because I haven't smelled it previously. It is almost identical. It doesn't have that pear opening but after that it is the same thing. Even the performance is very close which is a bit disappointing from a perfume with that price. If you like Mojave Ghost I would recommend trying out Wednesday from Zara. It is not more synthetic or cheap smelling which I was expecting from it. Of course if you hate fresh pear note in a perfume it's not recommended. That's the only big difference.

Wednesday reminds me of Daisy but with pear added to the mix. I haven't smelt Mojave Ghost, so I can't make a comparison. However I've always liked Daisy, but it's got weak lasting power and it's expensive so I'm glad I find a cheap dupe. Of course I've smelt other dupes of Daisy but I've never really liked them. The sillage is soft but lasts long enough on clothes. I think I prefer Wednesdays drydown because it has a soft, clean laundry smell. It's a lovely everyday perfume - inoffensive, fresh and fruity. It's a crowd pleaser for sure. This is the first Zara perfume I've bought.

9 JUNE 25 (update) I did drop by the Byredo counter in Dubai duty free and Mojave smells just as good as Wednesday, it also last a little longer and projects a little better too. Luckily I bought a few bottles of Wednesday when it went on sale... 13 SEP 23 I love it, I love the pear and the floral. It does lean more towards a female fragrance but sure guys can enjoy it too. I do wonder how close is it to Mojave? Maybe next time I’m in Duty Free, I’ll go test it out...

If the color Periwinkle has a smell it would be this scent, very befitting bottle color for the scent, Impressive scent love at first sniff, went to the store to get Tuesday and Friday ended up buying Wednesday instead that's how good this is, such a pleasant floral-fruity airy unisex fragrance The other one that stood the most to me was Tuesday a beautiful scent as well, will have to go back and get before it's gone

I am currently obsessed with this. I do not own Mojave Ghost, but I have sniffed it several times; even if Wednesday is not a perfect dupe for it, it has a general Byredo vibe. Inoffensive and office-appropriate scent, it is clean, fruity, and refreshing, an easy reach for hotter weather.

This is a very good dupe for Byredo Mojave Ghost, apart from the opening which is slightly different. I adore Mojave Ghost and this one as well. I managed to snatch the last bottle from the Zara website which made me very happy.

I still have a tester of Mojave Ghost so I have the chance to compare them side by side and indeed Wednesday is a very close dupe. Obviously Mojave Ghost is more nuanced and complex and I like the actual scent of it a bit more than Wednesday. The opening is pretty much the same in both however as they both dry down I can tell that Wednesday is a bit less woody, a bit sweeter and vanilic (which makes sense with vanilla in the base - it does not completely overwhelm the sandalwood but it is definitely there and it is fairly prominent after a while). With Mojave Ghost being a 200 EUR perfume while Wednesday literally costs ten times less for the same amount of juice, this is the realistic expectation. Still, I'd say they're nearly 90% the same and if you don't analyze them next to each other it would be much harder to tell. And I'm actually starting to really enjoy this vanillic sandalwood base as it's own very nice scent, even though it's the part that sets it apart from Mojave Ghost the most. Sadly both suffer from the issue of being very light and having no lasting power, they seem to be about the same in this regard. Around an hour after spraying I can barely smell either, another hour or two and they are both completely gone. Because of this I did not buy Mojave Ghost. And this is where Wednesday comes in as a much better option because I am not going to feel bad about having to respray since it's so much cheaper. I just cannot with these super expensive scents being so short lasting. This is why Mojave Ghost still remains only a tester for me and I'm choosing Wednesday instead.

This scent to me is the fruity scent for the ‘clean girl’. To my nose, it is a light and fresh pear scent, with some slight musk. The pear is not too sweet or too loud. It gives a clean, refreshing feeling suitable for mild/warmer days in the spring and summer. I’ve recently run through God is a Woman by Ariana Grande and I have to say I find the two similar. Not necessarily identical, but to me they are close enough to make the other redundant. Now I have to stipulate that I often pick up fruits quite strongly in perfumes, for example GIAW to me is pear on pear on pear! But I think others perceive it as more musky? Just something to bear in mind when comparing your own experiences with this review. Side by side comparison: GIAW has more pear, and this pear is sweeter compared to Wednesday, whose pear is lighter and fresher. GIAW has more body to the composition, Wednesday feels lighter and dare I say more watered down - but this is not a bad thing to me personally, I prefer the splash of fruity freshness over the prominent fruit. My expectations for the quality of this line were that of a nice body spray or one of the Zara cubes, but I think they exceed that. The compositions are nicely thought out and longevity is better than many of the cubes (eg Femme, Pink Flambé, Tuberose). But they are not as long lasting or projecting as the Chapter style bottles. I think the weekday bottles are the same as the Jo Malone cities / emotions and perform in a similar way too. I haven’t tried Mojave Ghost to compare, but will update my review to provide comment if this changes.

I did not like it until a coworker complimented my scent, said how fresh and nice I smelt. (Background story: I bought it because I liked it in the store, but at home it felt different, did not like it at all. I thought ok I'll give it a last chance...)

I have Mojave Ghost by Byredo and Wednesday - I'm Most Grateful is very similar to MG. This is a great alternative for daily use as Byredo is not the most affordable brand. $200 for 50ml vs $30 for 75ml. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

This smells exactly like Santal Glow from Zara. Heady floral and long lasting, not for everyone.

Beware, this is no dupe for MG, AT ALL. Wednesday is pear and stays pear, whereas MG is bubbly and fresh and powdery with a little pear. Wednesday's first floral to appear is fresia, MG's first floral is violet. Wednesday is ok, sweet and fresh, its not off putting, definetely a safe blind buy (well it's off the market but don't spend twice the original price for it on ebay), you could wear it anywhere but to me it's mostly a laudry detergent category scent. Byredo's MG I have the same association. Both are poor on sillage and endurance. I'd rather buy Wednesday than MG, for that price I think Wednesday has more character, even though it's the character of a pear. If you're looking for a great 'laundry scent', there are better choices than MG, like Kenzo World (by Kurkdjian), Les Soeurs de Noe - Mitsio Vanille, Penhaligons - Luna or Eolie - Ikesia, Matiere Premiere - Santal Austral to name some. They'll last much longer, have more character and have much better projection than Byredo or Zara.

Overall this is a small scent bubble, small sillage, ethereal freshie. A little bit Febreeze-ey to me, the linen fresh one. Longevity - on me it WORE, and wore and wore... I ended up scrubbing and it STILL wore. Light, but holy moly it stuck to me and got annoying. Definitely pick up the light orchid, notes of like apple or pear up-front in a fresh, crisp sort of way, not sweet leaning apple like the Kayali Apple 01 or anything. This is a light & pretty fruity floral that has aspects of a powdery, fresh, clean, slightly green wearing type of scent. The wear - not the smell - reminded me a lot of the Balenciaga Florabotanica and/or Ex Nihilo's Fleur Narcotique type cool, billowy freshness. Cute (but perhaps the cedar wore a little too long on my skin).Ordered as one TikTok reviewer said it smelled like Mojave Ghost. I've only experienced Mojave Ghost once in a dept store and I don't exactly recall all the details, nuances and wear experience so I can only rely on that feedback.

This smells like the dry down of Mojave Ghost but somehow it is very cloying and kind of off smelling. It’s an overly sweet sandalwood with a very ripe, just about to turn, pear note. The longevity and projection are very poor as well. Not for me!

Similar to Mojave Ghost but more floral, with the fresia being extra fruity! And more vanillic in the dry down. Beautiful if layered with Zara Golden Lullaby which makes it project very well (Lullaby has pear, musk and it's ambroxan based), the fruity aspects shine since they share the same pear and same clean vibe. Clean girl aesthetic 100%.

I own Mojave Ghost and Santal Glow. Bought Santal Glow because I didn't want to finish my MG bottle. That being said, I'm Most Grateful smells identical to Santal Glow, which smells just like MG.

Same like byredo mojave ghost and Blv 2 edp but more towards the blv
