Zara Black

Like most Zara fragrances this has pretty weak performance. I would be generous saying it lasts 2 hours on the skin. It is a pretty fragrance though. I used up a bottle wearing it as a bedtime scent. It’s soft, sweet and a little powdery. Something I found calming and relaxing. It is quite generic, not something I would bother repurchasing.

Straight forward gourmand. Excellent dupe for The Only One by D&G or Luna by Nina Ricci. Does not smell like LVEB at all. If you like TOO or Luna, you will love this one. Not my personal cup of tea but it is well executed. Objective note: 7/10 Subjective note: 5/10

as an orange and vanilla lover this lacks something, I can smell very little vanilla, quite strong on the orange and cinnamon but not in a spicy way, not a fan

Starts rosy and then it's fruity and sweet at the same time. Very generic. There is something spicy developing for seconds but i doubt that it's cinnamon. Some honey as well. Praline and almond are traceable. The opening is deceiving. You get a strong and sweet splash on the skin and think, this is it, an intense gourmand. Far from it. It softens and softens until total evaporation from the skin. It's not gourmandy but rather a sweet inoffensive softness. Without character. Reminiscent of La nuit tresor, la vie est belle, armani code cashmere, but a very very very diluted version. Lasts barely for two-three hours and if I sniff myself I just get a soft chocolatey feel A mih meh scent. Works as a fun pick-me-up

First of all, there is nothing 'black' about this fragrance. It's a light, sweet, fruity scent. Next to the vanilla, orange and cinnamon I also get some peachy notes and musk. It kinda reminds me of a light-version of Gucci Rush. It's a nice every-day scent, suitable for all seasons. The sillage and longevity are not that good. But, I didn't pay more than 13 euro's for this (100 ml), so what could you expect? I like it!

The 90ml tall bottle version of this perfume has different notes(apple, jasmine and vanilla). The smell is weak, and starts as what I can describe only as generic sweet, later morphing into sweet with vanilla accent. After two hours you can smell it on the skin if you press your nose against it. The sillage is not great either.

Opens with vanilla with a whiff of warm spices that lasts for several minutes at most before turning to generic inoffensive vanilla. I wish the spices lasted longer...
