Zara Black Peony 2014

I have been purchasing this perfume since the day I discovered it back in 2013. That being said, I had had like 4 bottles in their reformulations, and the version I have right now has nothing to do with the image I'm seeing in this review. However, as a consumer who knows everything about the product, I believe that the formulation has been changed, although it conserved its soul. Yes, this smells similar to my beloved Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf, AND YES, the new version lasts all day. This baby has a great value because Zara has great perfumes that are similar to the high-end brands with nicer prices, let's say, they are dupes. I recommend giving this a try but make sure you grab BLACK PEONY, Zara always redesigns the bottles (AND THE NAMES) ... Love this for every day, it is office safe, people won't be asking what are you wearing, it is faint, but... at least is soapy sweet that does not offend anyone. Great in a warm humid climate, I and I say so because I live on a Tropical ass beach. That being said, I would totally give this a try... and use it every day when I don't wanna spend my amazing and well-loved FlowerBomb.

I don't mind that it isn't so long lasting or anything, it's so pretty and amazing. If you want total rose energy and a beautiful perfume that is what you need. I don't know why and how but it has some berry undertones too. I finished 3 bottles of these and I would keep buying it as long as it is available. I sometimes layer it with a skin scent, or else I use vanille-framboise from udv to make it extra juicy.

Very pretty peony, with a little citrus and freesia twist. Lovely vanilla dry-down. Altogether a lovely, sweet, innocent perfume. Very light and easy to wear. Quite beautiful.

This is a more subdued, daytime version of Black Opium. I really enjoy it.

When I tested it, it reminded me of Escada Magnetism, but I didn't love this one as much as I loved Magnetism. I would say it's fresh caramel-vanilla. Test ettiğimde bana Escada Magnetism’i hatırlattı ama onu sevdiğim kadar sevemedim. Çiçeklerle taze hava katılmış, karamelli, tatlı bir koku. Gideri var.

In a hurry, between two longdistance-trains, I grabbed 4 bottles unsniffed and I didn't have time to check the notes because the only Zara shop in Oslo was closing in 2 minits, so this Black Peony 10 ml came with me, I didn't know it was a roller, and it was very cheap, ca 5 Euro. If I could have sniffed it before I bought it I would not have had it. The first dunst is like Drambouie, a liqueore, than there is a miksmasj of notes, hm, on my skin it's very weak, I'm rolling and rolling and nothing happens... Much later on the drydown is rather okey, and agree with the others, it's office-friendly and it will never ever offend anyone.

A nice and office-friendly vanilla perfume.
