Zara Bright Rose

Türkçesi aşağıda 🌸 I tried the new version in 2014 and loved it. It's definitely a Narciso dupe. I really want to buy it for everyday use. Strangely, this year they don't sell it as a single bottle, they made a double pack with Black Peony. I will have to buy BP even though I don't want to:( Actually, there are companies that make much better dupes in Turkey, but the bottle is important. The perfume bottle affects the pleasure of using perfume a lot. I liked many of Zara's bottles this year. So the winner is Bright Rose by Zara:) 🌸2014’te yeni versiyonunu denedim ve beğendim. GREAT ROSE ______________________________________________________ From the beginning, the bright and sweet rose shine through. From the first spritz, I could smell the strong rose and the Lilly-of-the-valley. I immediately could see the resemblance to 'Rumeur' by Lanvin. For that price it is really a must have, if you like rose fragrances. Longevity: - ? (i didn't spray it on me) Sillage: - ? All in all: 8 out of 10 points

To my nose this is obviously a dupe for NR For Her, and a very very close one at that - as soon as I got this I could remove For Her from my wishlist forever. Bright Rose is admittedly a bit less musky, and with added rose (unsurprisingly) but that suits me just fine. In fact, I prefer this to For Her, and find it to last longer on me too! This one is pretty, classy, and bright indeed. 100% recommend.

mine come in a rectangular glass bottle with a rose gold cap, very chic i love it. i don't know if they have two different version but mine is edt. it's indeed similar with sjp lovely, but more like sheer lovely. very bright floral, must be LIly of the valley, i can also smells jasmine tea. Medium lasting power, but last more on certain fabric. could be offensive in a heat and humid day.

I bought it yesterday.it's a soft , delicate and feminine perfume.its like a flowery spring in a bottle.I feel some musky hint in it though its not mentioned in notes.I like musk btw. And I guess it would be a great gift with zero risk.So good for the price , give it a chance. Hope it projects and lasts well too. P.s. it really resembles to S.J.P lovely but its softer.

I can definitely smell the cinnamon, rose, and patchouli. It's pretty long-lasting on me even without layering any other fragrances. Typically works across all seasons, but I'd prefer to use it during the spring season since this provides a very fresh and earthy fragrance from the patchouli. I've been complimented on this multiple times. It makes me feel very chic.

I have the new version of this parfume (almond, peach, jasmine, rose, musk and a warm woody note) and i just love it. It has a clean and sweet smell and great longevity and sillage for a Zara parfume. I get compliments whenever i wear it. It is not really suitable for summer tho.

Much needed update: In my country (Belgium), this version doesn't exist anymore. But the new one, in the cube bottle (Day collection 06), has very different notes (almond, peach, jasmine, rose, musk and wood) and effectively reminds of NR for her, the pink one.

My colleague had it, I remember it has an enormous sillage. There are 2 offices between hers and mine, but when she sprays it I can smell it. Also when she walks all along the place, the smell lingers in the air. Very pleasant smell.

Love it, in down I feel patchouli, and it remind me Shiseido Zen - not at start, it evolved slowly... Jummy.

Yes, it is a rip off of Narciso Rodriguez. But it is its own kind of wonderful. I bought this for $20 in Miami, in a rush and in the heat. It was a great buy and the perfume remained on my skin even after some hours spent in the ocean. This says something. It's powdery, warm and feminine. Whereas the original NR can be cloying and headachy, this Zara is her younger sister - a bit more easy going but with all the charm. Perfect perfume to keep in your bag in case of emergencies.

Mine is from 2019, in the square bottle with the rose gold cap. I can smell the patchouli the rose and the lily of the valley pretty clearly, from the opening until it fades around 6 hours later. It is not listed on the notes, but I detect some musk on the background. It projects very strongly to be a Zara EDT. Suitable for day time and transition weather. I think it can be overwhealming on very hot days. Good for the price. I like it.

I got this hoping it would smell like the nice perfume I smelled in the duty free, which it does. I don't smell the notes listed very much, I really don't get anything spicy! For me it's a feminine musk scent, powdery but not harsh. Mine is in a cube bottle, says Day Collection 06. I like it a lot, it's really comforting and makes me feel cosy all day when I smell it. :)

I've been looking for a scent similar to Sarah Jessica Parker's "Lovely", and somehow found this. It is indeed lovely, though I wish it would last longer, since it seems to fade within several hours. I'm really delighted to have found Zara's beautiful fragrances, at such bargain prices!

this was one of my favorite perfume two years ago, I love the cinnamon in this, it's a bit spicy yet very feminine and floral, it bit strong at first then it's so lovely.

This is not bad! I was expecting another "pink" fruity floral that vaguely represents rose, but this is rather classic (aldehydic LotV + musky tones & light spices)

I believe this is basically Zara Rose maybe modified slightly but it's the same one. Lots of similarities to Narciso & SJP Lovely.

I have an EDT bottle of this from 2014. I’m not sure how the notes differ from the EDP, but the bottle I have is a very powdery floral, with a gauzy, dampened, nerctar-y sweetness about it—like the watercolor view of a spring garden, as seen through sheer, softly-billowing curtains. At the time, I bought it because it reminded me of Chanel Chance, which I wanted and couldn’t afford. The two fragrances are really only distant cousins (both are sweet, powdery chypre florals), but at the time that was enough. There's something quite soft and cool about its powderiness that gives it a very calming vibe. It would be hard to believe the person wearing Bright Rose could ever be up to anything nefarious; if they were plotting something, it would be a surprise baby shower or an Easter-egg-painting day. It's definitely a spring/summer daytime scent. Bright Rose isn’t particularly impressive , but I find it to have a delicate, lulling pleasantness to it that has kept me from decluttering it all these years.

This was my summer gym scent and the heat and sweat made me think this was a strong tea patchouli green rose scent, somewhat similar to Cafe Rose without the coffee. Just tried it again on a rainy fall night and it is so much more balanced and softer. In cool weather it's a pleasing womanly bright patchouli rose scent. Elegant and pretty.

It smells like tea and rose. At first, I thought I liked it, but it's not pleasant to smell on myself for hours. I think it lasts a long time and is 'too' strong considering it's a fresh scent. I usually like rose but this combination just turns my stomach :(

I’m a fan of the Narciso for Her and this is really a dupe for the EDP! Can be a bit sour for some. Can lean to a sour gummy candy scent sometimes, haha. Spring to summer vibes.

On my skin this perfume is very strong, and the rose and patchouli is overwhelming. Unfortunately, I really don't like this perfume. I have about 12 Zara fragrances and Bright Rose is one of the two fragrances that just don't work for me.

It smells fine and lasts nicely but it gave me headaches like real migraines. So I get rid of it.

Wanted to like it, doesn't last 15 min and doesn't smell like NR

I've bought this recently (2021 spring) thinking I really missed NR for Her in pink bottle but I don't want to commit to it enough to pay the full price again. On paper, opening and dry down is really similar, lovely this will cure my appetitefor sure. Brought my own bottle home (clear glass cube like bottle, black plastic cap) and spritz in my bedroom, it is sour! Like peachy fruit punch mixed with a party animal's barf waited under the sun for hours sour. Also the colour of perfume itself is pale yellow instead of pale pink like its shown in the picture above. I think it has gone bad or something but ZARA in my country have a really sh.tty return policy so I'm stuck with it.

Well, spraying this side by side with SJP "Lovely" really helps me feel and appreciate the spicy, herbal and interesting aspects of Lovely. Bright Rose feels intensely floral - jasminy, maybe peony - and blander, and more traditional-feminine. [EDTA I couldn't really nail it down until I looked at the notes; Lily of the Valley. A lot of it!) I'm glad we agree there are zero spices in this. It's kinda pleasant tho, could grow on me. Projects almost more than anything I own, so probably wouldn't use it for work or on public transportation. (Notes + projection seem like it might make it a low odds migraine inducer for the sensitive.) (It's been too long since I sniffed any of the Narcisos to really say, but from vague memory I feel like Bright Rose might be closer to the For Her EDP than to Lovely.)

Like with most other Zara fragrances, both the name and the fragrance composition given out are deceiving. I think they do that to conceal the fact that they are copying other fragrances. Like Narciso Rodriguez, the main notes here are white musk and orange blossom. Bright Rose, the name, is not but a poetical departure from what it is about, and so are the notes listed above. Despite my previous review, I now find it quite a good dupe of NR, although I maintain that the quality is not the same. I also still think that like Rumeur it has that nail polish scent that NR does not, gradually less noticeable as the fragrance evolves, making it an hybrid between the two really.

I picked it up to smell at Zara with some apprehension because i really am not a fan of rose. But to my eternal surprise, it doesn't really smell like rose-this is soft chypre floral that leans towards oriental although its far too soft to make an impact. It does smell like a dead ringer for Lovely by SJP or NR, take your pick. However, middle and bottom notes are sweeter and more floral oriental than those two. Lasting power is barely above body spray but I guess you can't expect much from such a cheap scent(large 3.4bbottle was less than 23 dollars). Its a nice scent though and i actually thought of buying it except lasting power scared me off

I actually find it closer to Rumeur than to NR, but between the two. The notes above cannot obviously be right. Zara’s fragrances lists of notes are usually deceiving and so are the fragrances names, probably because many are dupes. The opening is very much like Rumeur’s, aldehydes and magnolia. The main notes, after that, are, to me, orange blossom and white musk. It is quite strong at the begining, and staying power seems to be quite good actually. As time goes buy, it loses definition and character, and the quality shows itself on the poorer side. I love it though, and for the price, it is quite a good buy.

So I decided to buy it even though the lasting power was bad and I really LOVE it. ITs warm, slightly spicy, yet sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth and so classy. I been wearing it for 2 days in the row which i hardly do but i really love this scent. My one disappointment that it only comes in one large size and those bottle hard to carry with you(and you need to because it only lasts couple of hours). But for 22 bucks...hey, I shouldn't be complaining too much, right? I been very happy with all things Zara, and their fragrances smell expensive and amazing and I can't believe how cheap those are

Used to wear this perfume years ago and got some compliments for it. Of course I would, it's a very safe and pleasant choice that will suit almost everyone I think. It's also one of the biggest bottles that I used up pretty easy(usually my perfumes stand in a corner for years and years). Now that I m seeing the notes I'm kinda surprised it has cinnamon and cumin in it and patchouli? All I got was rose and musk when I wore it. They turned out to be my most favorable notes over the time. Anyway don't know if they're still selling it although...

I've come to love this genre and I own SJP Lovely and Narciso Rodriguez for Her in the EDT and EDP. Bright Rose is very close to NR4H (esp to the EDT I think), so close that even at the very low price (and I do love a bargain!), I won't be bothering with Bright Rose. Sillage and longevity are fairly poor on me. I'm intrigued about Rumeur but rather cautious about the reported acetone quality in the opening. I do also have my eye on Guerlian Idylle, which is not a dupe for NR4H by any means but shares some similarities.

I loooooved my first bottle in 2016. I missed it very much, so I bought my second bottle in 2019. I'm trying to like it but no. I don't know is it me or have they mildly changed the scent? It's still beautiful, my synesthesic friend smelled it and said "it smells like night blue." To me, really feminine and nice. Safe for daily use, even in summer. But it's not as great as I remember, I believe it's patchouli disturbing me. I gave it to a friend, but if you like rose and patchouli just go for it. Longevity: sucks!

A very nice perfume that is indeed very simular to Narcisso. I get a hint of cinnamon and cumin in the opening, which I like. But the name 'bright rose' sounds quite funny to me, cause just like Narcisso, this is definitly a musky perfume on me. It's a safe, classic, warm scent. The only disadvantage is the longevity. That's like 'none' on me! The sillage is also very soft. It stays very close to the skin...and then, poof, it's gone. But maybe it's my skin who drinks perfume or something like that... . ;-)

It is a copy of Narciso Rodriguez for her, obviously, but a person who is used to Narciso Rodriguez will not feel happy wearing this. It does smell very much alike, but it is not NR, and the overall feel is of a cheap fragrance. You cannot ask more for the price and a person who is not expecting NR might actually enjoy wearing it. It does smell good. Longevity is good but sillage is none.

Good dupe for Narciso for Her EDP not EDT. The pink bottle not the black one. On the box it says the notes are Rose, Musk and Patchouli. Of course one cannot expect Narciso's performance and lasting power at this price :) It lasts about a couple of hours max.

Se siente como baño publico de una estación de tren. Realmente quería que me gustase pero lo sentí intolerable en mi piel. Cuando seca es un poco más suave y se siente la rosa pero hay algo agrio que me incomoda mucho. Por suerte compré la botella más pequeña

Lasts 2 hours. Really feminine and nice; Spicy but fresh. I can't smell rose. I think cinnamon and some other flower is more significant than rose. Warm and feminine. Looooove it. I wish it last longer than 2 hours.

Love this perfume, I've had it for years and it still smells great. For me it lasts quite long (few hours - 1 day). It smells like rose, floral but not too sweet has a little kick to it.

On me, Bright Rose is all about a bright patchouli and a bright rose. A classic and elegant duo. In the same vein as NR Her, except less musky and more warm spicy.

As others have said it's a dupe for SJP's Lovely and Narciso for Her which I love because, as a collector, I adore collecting all the facsimilie scents.

Are they sure the notes above are correct? Because it smells more of NR in black rather than the pink one. The orange blossom is rather strong too

It really reminds me of Stella Mc Cartney in two Peony! But really cheaper! Good value for money though...Decent scent...

I hated this at first, but with time it grew on me. It’s nothing special just an everyday scent spring/ autumn

An inexpensive dupe to Narcisso. Lasts really long. Smells good, won't break your bank
