Zara For Him 2012

Very good perfume! Between quite-budget perfumes for men, this is best one in my opinion. It smells good and doesn't make you look like a wild man from a medieval ballad. Fresh and egocentric, but sweet too, a nice spring and summer fragrance.

Smells great! But the only down side is that it doesn't last very long.

1st impression not so good, the smell is just so so, it may because I had smelled others before trying this one. but 2nd trial I put on my wrist let it dry for 10 minutes, I feel warms surround my hand, and the tone of soft lavender linger for some time..nice.. Edit: Now become my signature perfume.....feel warm wearing it...

I don't think there's any point in slagging off a fragrance that didn't appeal to me, but everyone's experience of a fragrance is different, and maybe reading this, alongside the many positive reviews, will help someone make a purchasing decision. For me, Zara For Him 2012, assuming no reformulation in the current release, smells like the worst kind of generic, aggressive, aromatic ISO E Super bomb specifically tailored to appeal to the tastes of (chronologically) young men. It's truly indistinguishable from black bottle scents by motor sport brands like Jaguar, Ferrari, etc. Not at all stinky or unpleasant, unless, like me, you have a particular sensitivity to certain synthetic aromachemicals, ZFH12 lacks character, individuality, and nuance, in my opinion. In fairness, it does perform better than many EDTs in this cohort, but that would be owing to the aforementioned ISO E, which dominates throughout the scent's rather flat development and lingers long after all other notes have fled. For those who enjoy this scent - rock on! For those not sure, test thoroughly before buying. And ask yourself, "Does this scent embody what I want people to experience in my presence?" One more thing: I have loved and retired several bottles of CK One Shock since I bought my first bottle at Tower Records. ZFH12 is no CK Shock.

I can't smell any of the notes listed in the description. This is a heavily sweet fragrance. The definition of syrupy. Sticky sweet, a little too much for hot weather. I happen to like it due to it smelling sweet, gourmand but still manly. It called my attention because it actually stands out and doesn't smell like every other sweet fragrance. It is like a manly version of Dior's Hypnotic Poison. Projection and longevity are great for a fragrance that's 29.99 for the 3.4oz bottle. Get this one and not the silver one, this one although it came out first, lasts longer and it's more concentrated.

This is my signature perfume! I love it! Its affordable, durable and elegant Zara! After Beckam Instinct, this is my perfume of choice! My GF likes it!
