Zara For Him Black Edition

Reminds me of a cross between La Nuit de L'Homme Parfum and Code Profumo. Not exactly the same or a clone but the same spicy sweet ballpark. A bit fresher version of Profumo maybe. For the price not bad at all and lasts quite a long time. Cooler autumn days... a winner! Winter too, but this screams wet autumn leaves on a rainy day. To save up code Profumo, I use this. On my skin they have very similar vibe but it probably doesn't have the same on others. Cooler weather definitive try. What I love about Zara is that they make very good copies of more popular fragrances which are very much more expensive. So I get Zara frags because I can save up my expensive ones and go wild with theirs which smell and last great for the price. Warning: This is NOT La Nuit de L'Homme. It does have a similar vibe but if you are looking for a clone or a replacement for La Nuit... this isn't it. It's sweet and pleasant with that kind of a spicy vibe but it's not La Nuit.

So..So creamy!!! Simpa256 nailed his thoughts about Zara For Him Black Edition here perfectly, I can literally feel and see myself wearing this on a chilly, slightly rainy or clear autumn day. Easily a cold weather dumb reach! I do get the CH men comparison, however I also smell a little YSL LNDLH Le Parfum vibe in the dry-down. Longevity is above average on my skin. I was incredibly lucky to get this one locally as a blind buy. Definitely worth if you pay no more than 20 bucks.It's a shame how 2016's Zara perfumes are much better compared to now, as to conclude with For Him Black (2016), no doubt one of their better releases, all time.

Amazing date night scent. Works pretty well as a signature scent too. Definitely a blind buy worthy fragrance. Not sure why people often say that zara fragrances have horrible longevity, with 3 sprays, this last at least 8 hours on my skin. Please take note that I'm in thailand so weather and humidity might affect how long the scent last on you. Scent 8/10 Sillage 8/10 Price 10/10

This wowed me as soon as I tested it in store. Was looking for something my wife would enjoy and after trying 3-4 scents, I came across this gem and was done shopping. Its in the same family and D&G the One and YSL La Nuit d'Lhomme which is a great family to be in. If trying to build a collection quickly, this is a must especially with the price.

Fragrantica finally added the 2022 version to the database. Since I have the OG version, you can probably conclude that 2016 was Zara's pinnacle in terms of fragrances. I KINDA get the La Nuit comparison, but its more CH Men IMO.

I given this fragrance few full wears and I must agree, the opening is not that great, to much fake orange peel and coumarin. And is frikin' loud. But after approximately 30min is getting pleasant. To my nose the drydown is like a cross between La Nuit EDT and Le Parfum. Ferragamo F Black or Lanvin Avant Garde are better fragrances and are not that more expensive. The drydown of this Zara is a lot closer to La Nuit that those mentionated above,but the opening is losing many points in my opinion. Still, this fragrance is well worth the 20 Euros price and I don't regret the purchase.

I got this recently (the 2022 release with a different bottle). I can understand why some people would say it resembles YSL LNDL. The dry down is in the same ballpark but they are not super close. I would say it is like YSL L'Homme but with more of the citrus note. Zara for Him Black Edition actually smells really good and has a nice performance. I would recommend it for autumn and winter. A bit too heavy for spring and summer. You should definitely check this one out in the store before it disappears.

I got this as a gift about 2 years ago. Smells like a sweet dark chocolate orange. Performance is 8/10, I can still smell it on my clothes 10 hours after applying it, couldnt say the same for the skin. I got a few compliments here and there from some female friends and my sisters and mom love it but I find it to be too sweet and one-dimensional for my liking. It is great for its price, however i would pick something else off the zara line if I came to buying some of their fragrances.

(I got the new version of this, I would guess from 2021, and I did not try previous versions) It reminds me of Terre d'Hermes but perhaps a bit less dry and with some kind of ambroxan vibe (even though ambroxan should not be in this fragrance according to the notes). The grapefruit here is not very pungent, I would have defined it as a creamy bergamot before knowing it is pink grapefruit. Average projection and longevity on my skin, I will probably use it as an office fragrance.

I just tried it, side by side with the new formulation of YSL La Nuit. Is not a photo realistic clone, like Aromatic Future and Sauvage, but defiantly shares some similarities with La Nuit. Is more like a flanker that a clone. Is more spicy and not that powdery BUT, IMO smells even better! Not to mention that the performances seems to be better that the water down YSL fragrance. I will get a bottle tomorrow! Again, really good quality from Zara.

Standing on the low quantity of sandalwood and cedar,opens with a sweet grephy white flow,then the cardamon takes place and you can smell a nice but commun scent of cardamon and sandalwood (thats where its reminds of La nuit) with that silvery backround of zara frags. Over spray if you want some preformance(maybe on clothes too).

Smells good, but that's about it. It's something you'd wear to class or to work without expectations to interact with people much. It's casual, masculine, fruity and just alright. 7/10 could last longer and could be more complex.

It does have that La nuit vibe, but its just too sweet when you get past the oppening (which is majestic!). Wouldnt really say its a copy of la nuit, but it is more like a flanker. Dislike because of the goddamn orange, an accord that seems to be in everything recently. Pitty such a bad note is getting so popular.

One of few Zara fragrances that isn't a seasonal release but seems to be available permanently. It's a sweet and smooth evening fragrance, perfect for dates. The opening reminds me of D&G The One, there's a sweet citrus, probably the grapefruit and it smells surprisingly fresh at this stage. It soon dries down to a vaguely chocolatey sweet and smooth scent. I can only kind of see the similarity to YSL LNDL that people speak about in their reviews. The two scents are in the same ballpark for sure, but they don't really share many notes (no cardamom, no apple and no creaminess here comapred to LNDL). They share a vibe and the occasion you would wear them for but not really the smell. I might not sound very impressed by For Him Black Edition from my review but I actually am! It's a really good release that even performs decently considering its use, something not be granted with Zara. It doesn't have monster projection but I don't think you really want it to, the confident close to the skin persistent smell is perfect for a date night scent. If you want a sweet fragrance that's more of a cozy cuddle under a blanket rather than a loud night at the club, For Him Black is a great option in my opinion. I would put it on the same level as Rich Warm Addictive, which has a lot of hype while no one really talks about For Him Black, which I think is a shame. It might not be a "go blind-buy it right now" kind of scent but it's competent, overlooked and worth your time. Give it a try next time you are in Zara.

I don't detect any similarities to YSL here. I get the same sugar sweetness that you find in Trussardi My Land and CH Men but that's about it. The 2nd time I wore it It reminded me of LYNX Attract (AXE Anarchy in the US) bodyspray. Is anyone else getting this!?

I went this morning to ZARA store and i could not beleive they do not seling fragrances,only woman clothings,worst ZARA store in the world is here in New Zealand,only selling cloths not fragrances,

It's an ok fragrance, like other's have said, similar sweetness of ch men, but lacks the fresh greener notes and better leather nuances, and ends up being only a sweet fragrance.
