Zara For Him Red Edition Intense

I like this a lot! I was a fan of Zara For Him Red Edition (I still have 100ml of the first batch), which I personally find even more good then Zara Red Temptation. In Zara, For Him Red Edition I really can smell the effect of the evernyl, which makes the whole composition much more chic and airy then Red Temptation, more serious and refined. It is also less sweet then Red Temptation, it has that beautifully powdery touch similar in smell to old eyeshadows (no talcum powder), and it has a pinch of that Baccarat Rouge magic (it is the ambergris in Baccarat, I think). Red Temptation is almost become dozzinal now, it is much more heavy and static, but Red For Him preserved some of that bewitching aura of the original Baccarat Rouge. That being said, when I saw this new Intense edition I was of course very, very curious. For Him Red Edition Intense opens just like the og Red For Him, with a light orange smell and a somewhat aromatic touch, I personally didn't smell any distinct bergamot note; I can still feel some of that jasmin plus saffron core, and the crystalized amber / candy floss backbone, the real difference in Intense lies, of course, in the dry down which is very, very creamy! It is a blend of round woody notes and tonka, almost like a lactonic caramel feel (almost!). It is indeed much closer to Baccarat Rouge Extract version, more sweet and nutty then the original For Him Red Edition (although not much almondy like Baccarat Rouge Extract). Persistence and sillage are just like the first batch of Red For Him, very good on both I would say. Is it worth it, if one already has For Him Red Edition og? It depends...if you are a fan of the fragrance, yes, I would say surely, because you can easily layer them, or choose this one when you want something more round and creamy and the og when you want something more airy and etherial; but, if you are just a sporadic user of this type of fragrance, then maybe you can avoid, you would find them too much similar. Edit: it is 80% different from Red Temptation Elixir, I would say. I have both and I am very sure of it, they are not the same fragrance in different bottles, just as For Him Red Edition and Red Temptation og are not the same juice.

"BR540 for Men" The "title" basically says it all. (sorry I copypasted my review from Parfumo, I'm lazy) It's more pungent and less musky than the original, making it more unisex towards masculine smelling to my nose, it's like they tried to go for a twist on BR450 targeted towards men, it is still VERY sweet but not in a candy cotton fluffy type of sweetness that could appeal female wearers, this has a strange...almost rubbery undertone to it, which makes it 100 times better than the original IMHO. Performance is really good, I go noseblind to it almost immediately but it lasts 7-8 hours on my skin, I put the fragrance in my backpack when I bought it and it leaked a TINY bit (so that's a thumbs down for QC, even though I really really like the bottle except for the cap), well, my backpack still smells a bit of the fragrance after a week. It's a solid buy, try and grab it before it gets discontinued or weakened as Zara usually does with newer batches or new releases. Straight 9/10.

For 1 year and a half i've been looking for a BR540 dupe. Tried pretty much all the popular ones. Let me tell you this, forget Armaf, Lattafa, Al Haramain, French Avenue... forget all their clones and attempts. THIS is the one you want. BR540 Extrait period, checks every box.. So smooth, clean and ON POINT. Also better blended than the ME ones, even straight out of the box. Who would've thought that Zara would be the one to actually make the best dupe of BR540, in fact, considering the newest BR540 batches (2023 onwards), this is even better. And going opposite of every Zara fragrance, this one actually performs! This thing will pump out of your skin for 10h easy, and on clothes you gotta do 2 cycles of laundry to get the scent off of them. You will most likely go noseblind after a few hours, only for it to come back at night and hit you in the face again like goddamn Freddy Krueger. My search is over, i already grabbed 2 back up bottles of this. Straight up gem.

So I compared this intense version with the og Red for Him, and here is what I have concluded: First of all, both are very close imitations of BR540 EDP, which I own, showing good projection and longevity. 15 minutes in, they smell nearly identical. Og Red for Him, being an EDP, has a better throw and smells very similar to BR540. However, at initial spray, there exists a weird seaweed note that luckily fades in ten minutes. Once the note dissipates, I’d be hard pressed to tell the difference between BR540 and Red for Him. The Intense version doesn’t have that seaweed note but a stronger wood base. It is rounder and smoother. It makes me wonder why anyone would pay the price tag of a 70ml BR540 when basically the same thing goes for $35/100ml? Go sniff it at the store yourself. *BR540 extrait, from my memory, has a distinct orange top note, which is lacking in both of these imitations.

Its a very fruity, sweet smell, i would associate this with red in my mind so i see what they did there. Like a cherry syrup (or cotton candy). Performance is great, feels really high quality, isn't really cloying but can induce headache if you overspray it. It easily fills the room so don't overspray it. I am gonna test the longevity until tomorrow. Edit: After a full day, it was quite faint on clothes and skin so i had to reapply, it lost its sillage after 6 hours. But wasn't completely gone even after a full day. Sticks closely on skin and clothes after a day. Edit: layering with versace eros worked well for me Sillage: 10/10. Longevity: 8/10 Scent: 8.5/10 (if you like sweet+sour smells)

I purchased it after testing it in local Zara store. I found the scent is nice and performance is quite good as well. It is unisex, but I find it is still decent for a guy. So I decided to buy full bottle from that store. Then...... It is disappointing. The scent profile is the same, but somehow the performance is soooooo weak. I think the performance is different between batches, and I got bad luck to get a bad one. Too bad. So now it becomes part of my rotation for running short errands during colder months. I still put "love" instead like simply due to scent profile. I dunno how close it is to BR, as I never tested one

I love this perfume, I would definitely go back for another bottle. Without looking at the notes, I perceive a bit of smoky pineapple, amber is definitely present, and a touch of spice. I used it a lot during the summer (even though it's more for winter) and I can say that this fragrance always brings compliments from women. Regarding the sillage and longevity, I can say that this is bordering on beast mode without a doubt. It generates olfactory fatigue. You won't notice it, but I assure you that the people around you will notice it quite a bit. I don't recommend buying it blindly...

i've tried this in store yesterday at the same hour, 24-25 hours passed and i can still feel it on me as a skin scent after 2 showers and 24 hours. it's got a very great, like very great projection (4-5h room filler), and it is overall the longest lasting zara fragrance it does really smell like br540, maybe like 80-85% with the same dna but a little bit more synthetic in the opening i'll buy this since it's cheap af and a good clone so i do reccomend it

It is the best Zara cologne I have smelled (maybe after Blooming Oud), and it is very long lasting. I have never smelled BR 540 to see similarity, but Im quite suprised that noone noticed Dior Homme Intense vibe in it. When I sniffed this, I immediately felt Dior Homme Intene similarity and then tested it by sprayin both fragrances on different hands, yess definitely this fragrance smells similar to Dior Homme Intense

Own two bottles of OG For Him Red Edition. Got Intense two days ago. It's a better, more refined version of the OG. Smells pretty much the same but it's less sour, a bit more spicy and it performs much better. Two sprays on the elbow and it lasts the whole day. There is really no need to get the OG version, this is the same price and better in every way. Great release really.

This fragrance bottle broke and shattered in my hotel room—my fault, of course. The cleaning ladies kept asking me about the scent, day in day out, repeatedly in broken English. For the entire week, the room was filled with this heavenly aroma, hitting you as soon as you opened the door to walk inside. Ordering another bottle before it get discontinued.

Very long lasting and almost perfect alternative of BR540 Extrait de Parfum. I was so surprised about its notes because I can still smell jasmine and saffron accord yet it does not have it. I would say its a better version of the original Red For Him and a more masculine version of Red Temptation Elixir.

This fragrance really surprised me because I had no clue that Zara perfumes could hit so well. I’m used to their fragrances lasting 20 minutes but this one lasts atleast 5 hours on my skin! Recommend to use during a sunny day and I promise the compliments you get is crazy!

Be careful with spraying, if you spray more than 5 times you might get a headache, last all day on skin, 2-3 days on clothes and it s smells really good and sexy

Sprayed it three times on clothes could smell it from another room, smells nice, is cheap 23€/100ml, lasts a long time, not a bad pickup at all.

This is an excellent dupe of BR540 Extrait...Amazing what you're getting for the price...

It smells so good but I have to spray it 100 times for it to last and project.

I tested this at the store and this is very good maybe not for everyone because smells unisex more feminine leaning, to me feels like a breezy nutty sweetness, reminds me slightly of 1 Million Lucky but more subtle, airy and serious. If you are going to buy this, this is very faint out of the box. In my experience Zara bottles needs to macerate for a few months, which might be annoying for a lot of people that wants to use the fragrances immediately. I wore it for the office, only 2 sprays. Here the weather is starting to become hotter, but since this doesn't smell too bright or too dense I think you could be fine if the bottle is new I don't really know how much will it change from here to a couple of months, I think it's safe to wear it on hot days at least for now. It lasts practically all day and the fragrance doesn't change too much, also layering works very well with other fragrances too.

I purchased it for everyday use because I needed a long-lasting fragrance. I was able to smell it for a few hours. It was a very familiar smell, something synthetic, but I don't remember what. It has a very sharp smell, maybe like wet paint or rubber or some chemical? I understand that synthetic and molecular perfumes are different genre. I went nose blind the first day. No matter how much I spray, I can't even enjoy it anymore. Maybe I should use it once every 2–3 days with fewer sprays to enjoy it. EDIT: I have been wearing it for few days now. It was disturbing on the first day, but I have slowly developed a taste for it. To enjoy its sweetness, spray less, like around 2-3 sprays maybe under the cloths. I can still smell its essence on my skin after 1 day. I am not sure about sillage, but I have noticed some heads turning towards me.

Close to OG For him Red edition, therefore close to BR540 minus challenging band aid aspect. Close to the skin scent but beast mode longevity. I don't know what kind of black magic Zara did here but on my skin it goes easily 10-12 hours. If you are fan of the BR540 DNA get it now, before they reformulate it.

Smells a lot like br540 but more in your face kinda way, it is so much better than the regular red for him which barely smells like anything anyway.

Smells nice, women like it, doesn't last long though - feels a bit overpriced considering you can dip into the Middle Eastern frags for a similar price, and they'll give you much better performance. I wouldn't repurchase this one, as I feel short changed with the longevity aspect.

Smells good on the test strip, and might be good for some skin chemistries. Try it on your clothes if you bought it blindly and it doesn't blend well on your skin. Sadly, on my skin it ended up smelling like Gasoline + the actual fragrance.

The smell is somewhat similar to the BR540. I like it, but the performance and sillage is almost nonexistent and I have to overspray a LOT for it to perform

Smelled sweet on initial spray then full on rubber smell and lasted 4hours. I let it macerate for a month and performance worsened and had a really strong alcohol smell just when I was about to get used to the scent. Would regret it but it’s cheap

This review from someone who owns 5 bottles of the OG red for him. I tried this one and HATED it! This one (Red edition for him Intense) is exactly the same as Red temptation (the original) for her. There is a note in both of those that really disturbs me. That note is not in the Red for him OG. I love the candy like sweetness in the red edition for him and that's missing in the intense version. I am glad I tested the intense and didn't blind buy. I was hoping for the same scent as red for him OG but stronger but this was not it.

Update to My Previous Review: I believe that since the one I purchased was a very recent batch, either maceration took place, or my nose has simply adjusted to the scent. Sweet-Masculine Fragrance for Men Zara For Him Red Edition Intense: The opening is a bit chemical for the first 10 seconds (yes, it does remind me of a dentist’s office). However, after a few seconds, a slightly bitter and sweet citrus scent starts to emerge. As the minutes pass, a sweet, sugary layer begins to develop in the background. Once the fragrance settles, the sweet amber note becomes quite prominent. Additionally, vanilla and sandalwood subtly make their presence felt as the fragrance evolves. Performance: The scent lasts for 1-2 days on clothes, and 6-8 hours on skin. Silage is below average; it doesn’t project much and is more noticeable up close. In conclusion, it's a great option for men who are looking for a sweet yet masculine fragrance.

JUST ordered my bottle, people's comments have me EXCITED!!!!! I've been searching for a fragrance that can come close to my original formulation of Alharamain Amber Oud Rouge 😩😩. It was completely beautiful & a 10 out of 10 fragrance. If this is 75% close to that. I'm good 💯 UPDATE: I have it & i am disappointed. Some people say clean? NOPE its animalic. I was in the market, the girl behind me & the cashier said SOMETHING STINKS!! The cashier immediately starts spraying air freshener. The girl behind me said, it smells like funk & perfume mixed. I hate it, but when you 1st spray it. It feels like you may have something good. Now the animalic accord does go away, I still despise it

it's better than cdn untold, it does have the initial alcohol blast but unlike cdn untold it's not that prominent. scent wise they're very similiar but i do find this sweeter. like evry other zara fragrances u have to overspray but it's not a bad performer like the non intense version. scent:8+ performance:6-8h with average projection fot the first 2 hours or so and then a nice scent bubble, sillage is moderate season/occasion: all year except summer. for me it can be an evryday fragrance or for going out

Amazing frag for that price, just unbelieveble how good it is. But i don't get it, first day from newly opened bottle it was so strong beast perfomance i smelled it realy good on clothes even after 16 hours, but after that, next day and next day i spray it i berarly smell it. Is it a frag quality/longevity went down in one day or just get used to sence or got nose blinded?🤷 Such an amazing fragrance and now i almost can not smell it.

They’ve really perfected the bacarat dna now. A pretty much exact dupe of br540 extrait and iv tried and own many of the years. Last and projects well better than the og with their awful new batches. Would sell all my dupes and get this

Very close to the other BR540 clones from Zara. I can't smell much difference between this and Red Temptation EdP. This one is maybe a bit smoother? Or a tad less sweet and a bit darker? But overall I'd say 95+% the same.

Man who sits right next to me were wearing this and i asked him what perfume is he wearing and he said this one... it did smell expensive tho
