Zara Night Pour Homme III

Oooh this is good! This one was an unexpected surprise and blind buy based on reviews and comparisons. Nice atomizer, decent thick bottle. It opens with a strong iris note that shares a striking resemblance to the iris note used in the classic Dior Homme line, as it dries down it transitions into a rather striking facsimile of the sadly discontinued YSL l'Homme Parfum Intense (aka l'Homme L'Intense), which is a cold weather favorite of mine. I have been nursing the juice remaining in my last two bottles of l'Homme PI, but I feel free to spray away with Zara NPH3 as it's so cheap! Quality is very good, it does not smell off-putting or overly synthetic to my nose (at least not more so than the YSL original). It wears very similarly to Parfum Intense, all of the same use cases, although. I can't comment on longevity quite yet.I will get a few more wears in before I update this review, but I am very impressed so far Update: performance is good enough for the price (~$20), I get around 6-7 hours out of it, much longer on clothing. It is very similar to l'Homme PI with added iris. The iris does actually stay around longer than I had first thought and you can detect traces of it even after this becomes a skin scent, giving it a slightly soapy vibe in the late dry down. The iris works with the l'Homme Intense DNA so I'm not mad about it and it prevents it from being a pure copy, unlike some other Zara frags I've owned. I would describe this as a fusion of Dior Homme Intense and YSL l'Homme Parfum Intense with performance that can't quite match either. This is 100% a unisex scent, just like l'Homme Intense. I would say it's almost like a more masculine analog of YSL Libre Intense. All in all, I am very pleasantly surprised, this one will and it will likely be in heavy rotation this Fall and Winter. I may layer it with a spritz or two of YSL l'Homme Intense. 84/100

@rquill67, you couldn't have synthesized my exact thoughts any better. I get exactly what rquill67 (review below) detailed in his review. I have always loved amber/cardamom/resinous fragrances, with that "fizzy" pop/cola type of feel. That is also what i get with this one. The one major difference to my nose compared to others such as Code Profumo is that where CP is sweeter and darker, this is a bit on the fresher spicy side of things. Lastly, I want to mention that in the first 5-10 minutes of the opening, this one smells super, SUPER synthetic, almost like this sweet(ish), spicy, and ambery chemical goup, it really does not smell good in the initial opening. But, give this one 10-15 minutes to settle down and almost all of that harsh chemical note fades away into the background. Even after going on about chemically smell blah blah etc etc, this is an all time favorite cheapy. I LOVE the DNA here (and in other similar fragrances). If you like code profumo, but want a fresher and slightly less sweet take on a similar DNA, then I think this would be a fairly safe buy. Just know that for such a low price (and especially coming from Zara), the performance is not going to be great and the overall quality of the juice is going to be lightyears away from other well known/high end designer houses (Code Profumo, L'Homme Intense, etc.)

The notes here are wrong and I love that everyone is describing the fragrance base on the notes, this is an Iris scent and that's why most people call it a "Dior Homme" style, for me it's a fresher DHP. I Know, before you get upset this is an obviously $20 fragrance so it doesn't smell like a $100 Dior, still I think it's amazing. Here's the Note breakdown and description according to Zara's website Bergamot, Pear, Iris Olive, Cilantro, Pepper Sandalwood, Cashmere, Leather, Vetivers NIGHT POUR HOMME III a woody fragrance that reveals an elegant and fresh character with an iridescent floral burst. Fragrance pyramid reveals fruity notes of bergamot and pear wrapped in iris, fragrant olive, cilantro, and pepper. At the base we find woody notes of sandalwood and cashmere accompanied by notes of leather and vetiver. A unique, seductive, and irresistible scent.

One of the best Zara fragrances of all time. Sexy, sweet, attractive smelling, love it! This beauty smells much more expensive than it actually is. In The Netherlands this fragrance costs € 12,95 ($ 14.8) which makes it a true bargain. It's not a clone, but it smells a lot like D&G Pour Homme (intenso) with a touch of Dior Homme (because of the Iris note). But keep in mind that this one is much sweeter. Go out and check 'em! Performance: slightly below average, but not bad at all for a Zara fragrance.

The note breakdown is not correct! Others comment the corrented one. For me it is more like Givenchy Gentleman EDT (2017). The pear, iris, leather/cashmere gives me the same vibe as the Gentleman EDT, but this has a little bit of sweetnes in the drydown what I like. The note breakdown is the same as the Extreme 6.0 and a bottle is different as well what you can see in the site. I am bought it recently, so I think I have the after 2021 released bottled one.

Bought this perfume yesterday in a combo deal @ my local Zara in Holland. Zara Night Pour Homme II & III both 100ml EDP together for €17.95 What a great deal! Didn't had high expectations, but I really love the Homme III. I dont make comparisons with other perfumes, it just smells great and the longevity is more than good. And the bottle looks o so lovely. All and all a nice and cheap add to my collection!

Woody amber bomb, smells kinda “hot” if it makes sense. Performance is meh. You have to overspray it. Still i love this fragrance but don’t expect anything crazy.

The overall performance is good. Worth money. Weak longevity and projection, But if you over spray it you can compensate for these weaknesses.

Love it, it's special occasions smell, best for evening, night function. Smell like sapodilla/chiku fruits.

The cardamom with lavender is really nice. Slightly above average performance and projection.

Perfect modern man smell very woodsy and ambery. Could work on all occasions.

I loved the smell of Zara Night Pour Homme III (NPH3) so much that I got the two-pack of Night Pour Homme II and III from the Zara website. I smelt this on a recent trip to Scottdale's Fashion Square Mall and loved it, but didn't get it at the Zara store. Due to my view on NPH2 as per my review on that fragrance, I chose poorly. Not that I don't like NPH2, just it is similar to a number of fragrances. NPH3 is too, but it largely is only like three direct fragrances I own and a third kinda sorta, but doesn't do it in the same way. Night Pour Homme III is fairly similar to La Nuit de L'Homme. Notewise, it is. La Nuit has notes of cardamom, lavender, cedar, bergamot, vetiver and caraway while NPH3 is cardamom, bergamot, lavender, cedar, amber. NPH3 swaps out the vetiver and caraway for the amber. NPH3 you get a strong cardamom with some bergamot open. It does not come off effervescent or cola like but it smells really good. The cardamom spice seemingly sticks through out mixing good with the lavender and the cedar. I really do not get much amber from this somehow. As mentioned before I own four fragrances that are similar. Salvatore Ferragamo F Black, Michael Jordan Flight, Halloween Man Shot and Guess Seductive Homme Blue. F Black is much more shower gel than NPH3 Flight is in between L'Homme and La Nuit de L'Homme so it is more daytime oriented. Halloween Man Shot has iris which to go against a number of reviews, I don't detect in NPH3 at all. Finally Seductive Homme Blue is a beachy take on the La Nuit DNA. NPH3 is more traditional La Nuit than most of the similarish fragrances I own. As mentioned before, I don't get the irisy feel others do. I do not think it smells similar to the Dior Homme style fragrances. These would be fragrances like Dior Homme Intense, Valentino Uomo, Valentino Uomo Intense, Zara for Men, Zara 9.0 and the aforementioned Halloween Man Shot. If I had to pick any irisy fragrance that NPH3 smells most alike, it is Halloween Man Shot. And that is because Halloween Man Shot is La Nuit de L'homme with Dior Homme Intense like iris and vanilla. Performance is pretty good. You will find that it lasts about five hours. Not bad considering La Nuit de L'Homme's modern formulation and performance. It works in fall and winter time I find it works daytime especially if the temperature is cooler and it can work in nighttime too of course. It should work as a date scent as La Nuit de L'homme while a fragrance that the fragcom love, I don't really notice in the normie fragrance user. Most fragrance users will stick to Paco Rabannes, Chanels, Versaces and Diors. Maybe Abercrombie & Fitch if they are younger... It should surprise you how "unique" something like this will be for a date. Zara Night Pour Homme III is really nice. Is it a must buy, no. I happen to really enjoy Guess Seductive Homme Blue due to the sea feel added to La Nuit de L'homme. I guess that is me loving the beach from my youth and aquatic fragrances. That said, if I had to chose between getting this and La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Electrique, I really wish I got Bleu Electrique when it was on sale based on what I get from this. I feel Bleu Electrique is a better version of this. That said, Night Pour Homme III is a 7.5 out of 10. If you smell this and like it, get Bleu Electrique instead.

Batch reviewed: 00490 (february 2020) I bought it today along with the night II and let me tell you right away night II is trash and it's going directly to the dark bottom of my collection. Anyway, Night III: interesting fragance, opens up strong.. i'd say is a strong, dry, formal scent. I have a lot of iris fragances: Dior Homme Intense, Givenchy Gentleman EDP, Valentino Uomo Intense, Prada L'homme, etc.. and i's say this goes more in the direction of Dior. This fragance as i said is very formal, so you won't be able to pull this off if you're not wearing atleast a dress shirt. The Iris is there.. i just like Zara 9.0's Iris more, because i think 9.0 is more versatile and i can give it more use. Zara Night III is for serious, formal, mature men. It's a CEO type scent. Overall: Scent: 8.25/10 Sillage: 7.5/10 Longetivity: 8/10 Price: 10/10 (i purchased the night II & III pack for under 23USD at my local Zara store as of july 7th 2020)

I bought this fragrance yesterday from zara, I was not planning to buy a perfume from there, I stopped by the perfumes stand while I was waiting for my friend. I was like lemme try them out, tried a couple of them but they simply didn't hit me up until I come across Zara pour homme Night III, sparyed it, smelled it immediately fall in love with it. I was like what the hell is this zara Night Pour Homme III or Dior Homme parfume !!!!! It smells 95% like Dior pour Homme III !! The same smell but different price zara for 20 bucks dior for 180$. So I decided that I wanna put this into a test . I sprayed one puff of the zara pour homme on ma right hand and dior pour homme on the other hand . You won't believe me if I told you that zara lasted longer on my skin than dior and I still can smell that strong Iris even after 10 hours . Currently am testing the sillage and the projection on both . If zara won i won't waste 180 bucks again.

My wife loves the scent on this one, and I can see other reviewers love it too. I'm not a fan of it, but give it a try. Sillage is more than moderate, and longevity is long lasting. That means performance is pretty good for a perfume of this price range. Btw, its an EDP, not EDT. Scent: 6 / 10 (remember this is subjective, it'd be 8+ for my wife) Longevity: 8 hours Sillage: 7 / 10. More than arm's length during first hour Price: 8 / 10 Age: 25+ I got it in a pack with Night Per Homme II and I prefer the scent on II better. The pack is 30 bucks, and probably a safe buy, despite I like other Zara perfumes better. As always, please try the perfumes on your own skin, and wait at least an hour to see how they develop. I got an 100ml bottle at the usual Zara price Yes it does remind of YSL a lot though it appears sweeter and less powdery. For the price it is more than decent, you can wear it casually when going out for beer or for afternoon coffee, i also like to spray after shower when i stay at home to watch movies.Tbh, i prefer to wear it when at home. It is sweet and dark and creates a comfort aura for me who likes these types of perfumes. I guess that the notes that they use are synthetic but the perfume does not smell synthetic at all, it gives off an 'ok' type of quality. On the downside, the price will make it very mainstream, so it is a 'no' for people who want to smell unique. scent : 6/10 longevity : 8/10 (strong drydown on my skin the next day if i apply the night before)

YSL L'Homme intense is my signature scent and when I tested this today I was honestly shocked at the resemblance. It smells darn near the same, but their is a distinctive difference after 1 minute. The opening is more alcoholic but still close (90%), the mid notes are similar but this adds an Iris note giving it a pencil sharpener smell to already sweet amber accord. In the dry down it becomes a little more different but still about 85% the same, the floral undertone of the iris really sticks out which is something Homme Intense does not have. Personally, not for me, I can't do iris and still prefer YSL L'homme Intense 9/10 days compared to this. If Iris is not a deal breaker for you get this for 20 USD instead of the YSL premium price tag.

Man....do some people just pick up one similar note and suddenly claim a fragrance is identical to another? Dude in here saying it’s extremely similar to D&G PH or Intenso...come on man the only similarity is they all spray out of a bottle. It’s misleading people, like telling someone who recently turned blind that a girl looks like Megan Fox just because they both have hair I wish I could tell you what this smells like but I haven’t yet figured out what fragrance you could say it’s a clone of, but it sure isn’t any of the above...sorry. The closest of the made comparisons would be the YSL Intense/Diesel FFL spirit but that’s still a major stretch

people comparing this to D&G Intenso and YSL La Nuit de l'Homme? are you trying to mislead people intentionally? I just bought this frag yesterday (blind buy and bundled with Night II) and at first try it smells just like Zara 9.0, it was just like it on a nicer bottle. That's it, it's not similar to Dior Homme Intense, La Nuit de l'Homme, D&G Intenso or even Vibrant Leather (yes someone mentioned it). It's a nice frag, a little sweeter that it should (if you ask me) with a decent longevity (by Zara's standard which is low) and a nice Zara projection. If you own Zara 9.0 don't blind buy, test it as if may be way to similar

Inexpensive great fragrance. Sweet enough and maybe a little synthetic on the opening, nevertheless a great smell for cold days both for office or weekends. Performance on skin is better than on paper, so try it on you at the store and let it dry for a few minutes before making up your mind. Considering that most fragrances doesn ́t last on my skin very long, even the expensive ones, these are the rates: Scent: 8.5/10 Longevity: 8/10 (6 hours easly with 3 sprays on your neck) Sillage: 7/10 (2+ hours) Price: 9/10 Ratio Benefit/Cost: 8.5/10

I bought this last summer ... as a pack with Zara Night Pour Homme 2. When i tried it ... i disliked its opening, it was just too strong and invasive. It remained in the back of my collection until now that weather has cooled off, wow that made a difference. I won't say it's my favorite ... but i do like it now. Not sure what note was the one causing me to dislike it (i'm not that good identifying isolated notes yet), but there was something there that was disgusting. Now that note remains, but in a way subtle way that i dont dislike.

Very cardamom heavy, complimented by amber and lavender. I don’t get much of the bergamot or cedar due to how powerful the spices are in NPH3. As someone who loves cardamom, this is an awesome fragrance to me, but it falls short in performance. This stuff barely lasts over 3-4 hours and has mediocre projection at best. I’d recommend this for dates or a night out as it’s very pleasant smelling and doesn’t project annoyingly loud by any means.

Opening is full blast Dior Homme with the lipstick accord. If that turns you off, you're in luck - it morphs into a more pleasant jus, with cocoa nuance and a warm softness. This is an incredible value for this kind of scent. More prestigious brands charge 3x for this. Grab a bottle while you still can. Perfect modern gentleman fragrance.

This is an Alr fragrance smells nice after ten minutes but before that I was dissatisfied at what I had spent my money on (very cheap tho so that makes up for it a bit). Quite and aggressive musky/aromatic note that I get but once it dries down it gets much more pleasant Overall 7/10

Decent value for money. It smells woody, powdery, slightly sweet, and subtly leathery. It doesn’t last long and eventually becomes a skin-like scent, but you can’t expect spectacular performance at this price point. A good pick for colder months if you're on a budget.

This one lasts absolutely ages on my skin. Its not my favourite fragrance ever in terms of overall scent, but it smells great and I can alwaya count on it to last a whole day at work. For the price you really cant go wrong!

The Dior Homme Intes dupe initially looks very similar, even smelling identical, but then it starts to smell like soap and that soft scent disappears.

This seems to be a simple scent. I like the amber in the opening, not sure fragrantica is right about it just being cardamom and bergamot, but it is very nice. Just...there is no nice way of putting this, this scent is just weak. Its not watered down- smelled the same as in the shop. Dry down is interesting, far less sweet but woody Just its really a skin scent and will fade after an hour or so. and frankly its a safe scent. If your girlfriend likes it, let her spray it around, because i can't see this being used much. Or you can just give it to your kids and play "if you're happy and you know it, spray here.. etc..". It just is sooo mild. I do think the bottle is great quality, round and brown. sprayer seemed to give a very generous application. to @Mattysin - i don't think this is like Code Profumo, it may just seem more like Christian Lacroix Amber.

It's not bad at all, just decent. Opening is harsh and synthetic, at least for me. After it dries and lingers for a bit and is a lot more enjoyable though it is nothing mind-blowing. For the price, give it a shot if you like the combination of notes. It's pretty versatile, you can pull this off in the winter, spring and fall for sure. I wouldn't even be afraid to wear it on a cool summer evening if you live somewhere where it isn't super hot.

The fragrance is okay not too good not to bad good for winters warm and smooth but their customer service is horrible so be aware if anything happens even from their side they dont care anything even for slightest dollar.

Clearly not my cup of tea, dont buy this blind. openning is full of cardamom and spicies drydown is better but drydown has no sillage.

The opening of this on my skin smells like wet cardboard..give it an hour though and it's lovely when the bottom notes kick in.

this fragrance is okey, aromatic and great for date nights but i don't recommend because its too week and bad sillage don't moderate at all but it's get compliments if you wanna get compliments too you need to spray over 13 plus or even more but you know the all zara fragrance like that because its cheap so that's okey for the price

This smells very low-quality, like scented plastic. I get the cardamom and lavender but they're the opposite of photorealistic. The scent sits too close to the skin. It doesn't have sillage whatsoever.

Gave me an instant headache like I was shot in my face. I heavily recommend you to go give a try before making any purchase.

genuinely horrible i dont get why one would get this when they could get 1000s of other frags from middle east houses at the same price point with better longevity and A BETTER SCENT

To JanneMan45 & Plantus. I've just purchased 'Zara Night Pour Homme IV' from my local Zara store (£12.99). Yup, it is 'similar' to 'Vibrant Leather', but I've got to say that considering it's a 'Eau De Parfum' this time, as opposed to a EDT, the performance isn't that great, for me at least. I can see what Zara have considered, that being that having discontinued 'Vibrant Leather' & then realising how popular it was, they've now rushed this one out pre-Christmas, probably in order to fill the gap that VL left ! I still see Armaf 'Club De Nuit Intense' as the best dupe alternative to 'Creed Aventus', as it easily outshines both VL & this new 'Night IV' in both silage & longevity (& performance). That said, I suppose when you take the price of this new Zara into consideration, it's prob not a bad buy if you treat it as a kind of 'aftershave' or 'freshen up' spray !

My bottle from the 2018 two-pack (includes Night II) has completely different notes than what this page shows. This page actually seems to have the note for Night II listed with Cardamom instead of Lemon. The Night III I have shows: Corriander / Pepper / Iris / Osmanthus / Veltiver . I need to give this one another try. To me it is so dominant in Iris that I feel that someone's been necking me with my grandmas lipstick. That isn't the impression I want to give. It is entirely possibly that this 2-pack version is a different "Night III" but to me it is not appealing. I will try it again and try to like it, but I wanted to point out that this shows completely different notes on my packaging.

Just out, a new one: Zara Night Pour Homme IV (Green box) EDP. Not mentioned yet on the website. Did not try it yet, also the're no notes mentioned on the box. Maybe I try it next week...when there is a tester bottle. Edit 2017.12.05: Listed on the website now. Notes: Bergamot, lemon, leather, bamboo, patchouli. Looks like it has the same notes as Zara Vibrant Leather on fragrantica !

I have tested this amazing juice at Zara store,it is really amazing scent,i love it,,,the only one thing is that last only 1h and that is it,,,On the opening it has a little bit Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir or it is just becuase they have same spices ingridients... Scent 10/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 5/10 Projection 5/10 Price 10/10 (2 bottles in pack 100ml for $25)

This is the best zara fragrance that I have. It's also one of the best out of entire collection. It's very long lasting with great silage. This sometimes gets compared to zara 9.0 which I also have and this is far superior to that. This is best suited in cooler weather for day and night wear. Absolutely love the scent.

Got this in a pack with the Night II. And honestly I don't enjoy, it is likeable but not for me. I think this is a good perfume for dads who needs a masculine perfume to wear at work or at night. It does have a slight hint of leather.
