Zara Vanilla Wood

This is comfort in a bottle. I bought it because I have had good luck with the Zara fragrances. There really has not been one that I disliked and the quality is very good. I just kept reaching for this one over and over. It actually smells like vanilla wood BUT now that I know there's chocolate in the fragrance, being a chocolate lover it makes total sense. This is the best chocolate fragrance I have ever encountered. You just want to sniff yourself all day long. Best in cooler weather, longevity and sillage, very good. I believe this is a limited edition fragrance featured with Sugar Rose and has been out for a few months in the USA. 3/7/15 Update: This seems to have disappeared from the US Zaras but There is a new fragrance with the same exact notes: Zara Woman Stock im Eisen Platz 4 Vienna.

wheres the wonderful stunning Zara amber wood for men? except for the strong note of alcohol when spraying, could be signed by Tom Ford...

It was a blind buy,a very cheap one. I thought it would smell basic and cheap. I owned it for couple of weeks and then I gave it away. It's good as a bed time smell, it smells like a scented candle, a similar quality too. It's good for your car too. In short, it's really just a cacao-vanilla scented candle in a bottle.

Sorry, I didn't Iike this one. I usually like most gourmands but this one was overbearing, cloying and nauseating. It starts out with a strong vanilla and woody sort of scent, and radiates for hours on end. I only sprayed it on my hand, but I could smell it wafting around me for quite some time. It wasn't bad at first, but eventually it turned my stomach and I couldn't take it and had to scrub it off ( twice). I could give it another try one of these days, given that all the comments are so positive, my opinion might change. I recommend only do 1 spray max... It's probably better to test this one before buying, but then the price is so affordable anyways ( under $20).

As one of you said, is a "copy" of the Rebelle perfume by Rhianna, but it's not shameless. Its a very nice sweet fragrance for cold autumn/winter days. I think the quality is more than ok considering the price. Love the longevity as well.

where's the woody note? It should be named as Vanilla Candy, but I'd like the smells it :)
