INCEPTION

This is perfectly unisex to me! There's nothing about it that makes me think it smells masculine or feminine, it just smells like nature. On me it's very green, like crushed up fresh green leaves or something. But also green fruits or berries. It's very juicy! I don't know how they do it but I'm smelling fresh air and spring rain. There's something, I think it's the juicy green scent, that's very similar to Zarkoperfume cloud collection no 3 which is another favorite of mine. I absolutely love this perfume, it smells so refreshing and clean. And it lasts forever both on my skin and my clothes! I would recommend it to anyone who likes green, fresh fragrances. I'm a woman but I know this scent would smell great on a man too.

This used to be my signature for a quite a while. It has a nice unisex feel to it. Aquatic, green, woody and citrus. I somewhat reminds me of a future edition of my beloved “ new west for her “ I still enjoy wearing it from time to time. It has a It has a clean, simple and masculine/ feminine flirt to it. Its really good without seeming to try to much at beeing it. Complex and simple at the same time. A little goes a long way with this one. Moderate silage and great longevity. If mixed with a scent with watermelon notes CK one red edition for her its pretty close to New West skin scent for her... which for me is an all time favorite... discontinued and missed.

Inception smells like the North Sea seashore on a sunny summerday. Cold, airy, windy and fresh. Some shiny metal and beton notes here, which makes this fragrance sort of high-tech industrial and modern. Smells like mineral bottled water. Quite interesting and office-friendly. My collegues reacted positively on this EDP. I am usually not fond of marine scents, but this one I actually like.

I just love it. It is fresh, clean, but no boring or loud. I wear it on my flight from Vienna to Seoul and I can still smell it after long 10 hours.

It smells naturalistic and crunchy, like an unripe sour fruit or berry (I think of munching on green currants or gooseberries). I'd say it's like hitting luscious tall grass with a stick while walking near the sea: very green. Almost as green as Vele by Tiziana Terenzi (which I love, but I don't have one, maybe later), but with wet grass, not warm grass; unless I compare them side-by-side, I can't say if they are similar enough. There is a merit to this perfume, but I'm yet to find one which actually feels like a sea to me, not like an air freshener. This one is not like air freshener at all, this is green fruit with a hint of laundry. I really appreciate how un-chemical Zarkoperfume smells are. After a long time testing a wide range of marine perfumes, I'm buying this one bc the only other truly good one I've tried is Megamare by Orto Parisi, and that one has a heavy iodine sea with Baccarat Rouge 540 vibes (and exactly 6 times as expensive as this perfume), Megamare is much more like traditional masculine perfumes, although it is indeed true unisex. It's insanely long-lasting. I have a blotter from the day before yesterday, and it's still going strong. (UPD: the blotter smells after 2 weeks! and it smells lovely) Most perfumes are totally gone within 24 hours.

Smells like sun dries laundry. Which I don't necessarily love. Works fine for work though.

This is not my idea of a nice perfume. As a house Zarko is as conceptually confused as the plot of this offerings Hollywood namesake. The citrus opening is fresh but then gives way to a aldehydic, and coldly metallic, calone laden aquatic. Inception is not so much salty and sea like but less natural and authentic than that. Even the green or woody element to this fragrance doesn't evoke nature. I just don't dig it, smelled it before and I'm over this sort of arty, minimalism unless it really speaks to me and this has nothing interesting to say. It does have some lasting power, a plus I suppose for those who do like it but it's a very mild skin scent when dried down.

This is all about salty sea water with faint green/florals and mild seaweed. It feels quite artificial though, nothing natural here. Also at the opening has a weird smell of a freshly baked bread with woody cheaps and mild cumin if that makes any sense. Longevity is above the average and sillage/projection are soft. Completely unisex & versatile scent for warm weather.

I just ordered it this morning after weeks of thinking about it. Sure it can be described in many ways, pleasant or obscure, but for me it pushed exactly the buttons which I expect perfumes to do: it transported me to another time.The first time I smelled Inception, I immediately went back to the day when my father installed the Christmas tree ready to be made up with all the decoration and the entire house was smelling like a forest. This sorts of memories are the best so yes, for me Inception by Zarkoperfume is a spectacular scent.

Inception is a hyper-modern, green and fizzy citrus fragrance with smooth woody / aquatic facets along the line of Comme Des Garcons Play (the original one), Comme Des Garcons Soda or Nu_be Hydrogen. It's nice enough and, given some of the notes involved, completely inoffensive but it lacks the quirkiness of the aforementioned fragrances which is actually what turned all of them into something noteworthy. Again, nice but eventually forgettable. Rating: 5.5-6/10

First few minutes it smells like fresh cut hay that has been hit by a summer rain, but then it dries down to this kind of sour alcoholic smell that dominates the underlying other notes. But then after ten minutes the alcoholic is gone, and it's back to the rainy grass.

Top notes not identical but similar to coast soap. good enough. then comes the base notes: oud. um no. They really should disclose that and not call it blonde wood or woodsy notes. Next...
