Ménage à Trois

I LOVE THIS!!! Remember Dewberry from The Body Shop back in early 90‘s? Manage a Trois smells just like it but more musky and yes, ozonic. I do not pick up any watermelon. Dewberry, musk and a touch of cedar. It lasts the entire day but is more like a ghost that sweeps back and forth. When you think it‘s gone after 5–6 hours, it comes back and remind you of it‘s existance. I would not call it a masterpiece or well blended. I think that molecule based perfumes are in general linear and rather simple but I guess that is the entire point. This however is unique and gorgeous. Not many people know of it and you will for sure stand out wearing it.

Lovely musk and juicy watermelon. The opening is fresh and aquatic the dry down is musky/ ambery. Soft and intriguing. Unisex and sexy. Best for spring summer and even good on a really hot day. I love the watermelon note...its really true to the real deal. Silage is tricky...sometimes intense sometimes soft and like a skinscent. Longevity is moderate. A big love from me.

Last forever and unisex, I got a 10ml sample and because the Perfume is so strong it lasted ages, I love Zarko perfumes so pleased I found them as they are the best out there for my dry skin, normally Parfume only lasts 20min on my skin but all of them from this collection I can still smell the next morning when I smell my clothes from the day before.

I like the opening a lot, but having tried 6 zarkoperfumes now I find that some perfumes from this brand might not work for me. A lot of them seem to have the same synthetic basenotes. Most of them have a very nice opening but turn quite woody-musky and masculine in the dry down. Unfortunately my mom has expelled "yuck, there's that perfume that smells like sweat!" every time I have worn this or e'L. I do not get that association, but admittedly I am scared that others might. My favorite by far is MOLéCULE No. 8, I simply love that one (not one og those that turn into a" sweaty musk" on me). If these scents work for you then you may very well have yourself a great performing perfume that you can sucessfully layer with endless possibilities! Update: many zarkoperfumes lingers forever on clothing. I very much enjoy the clean, but very masculine scent that lingers from this. My jacket smelled of Ménage à Trois for well over a week

.:January:.I am so confused. This is such a funny scent, it actually made me laugh. After the sprits it's a strong alcohol and watermelon scent but just in matter of seconds it turns into salt licorice on my skin. I also smell like an elegant old lady with a salty attitude in her mansion. It's giving Maggie Smith in Downton Abbey - perhaps not the first person that comes to mind when one is introduced with such a sexy sounding name of a perfume. Not sure if I'd like to smell like this but I can appreciate the image and feeling it portrays. No musk detected sadly but still very entertaining! .:September Update:. It's a habit of Zarko’s by now - it had to grow on me. Revisited eight months later and I love it. So much salt and spices mixed with a shy watermelon. A second salty, sweaty skin. Gorgeous and sentimental. Very sexy. My sensual fall scent. The salt! The salt! I am obsessed with salty scents.

This perfume was a gift, I guess I wouldn’t purchase it myself) I received it last summer and was wearing it only during my vacation at the seaside because thought it was completely useless and odd in my everyday life. This summer I’ve changed my opinion) the perfume has somehow grown on me, now I can detect more shades and aspects. To be honest, I don’t like watermelons, neither taste, nor scent. Fortunately I do not pick this note! All I feel would be fruity sweetness, some musks, a little bit of woodiness and light freshness. IMHO the scent smells very modern and even a little bit futuristic. I would compare it with the current interpretation of the 80-90ties fashion. I would describe the scent as melon+pine+musks ( I can really detect some different kinds of musc, as the name says: Ménage a Trois= love of three musks 😅)

A friend gave me a sample from her discovery set. She also told me that Zarkoperfumes are supposed to interact with your skin and change depending on that. So each perfume might smell different from a person to the other! I got two samples of two scents and both are very, very soft. This one is indeed a whiff of watermelon quickly changing intoooooo..... I don't know, not watermelon and not musk, rather a watery something. Not bad, actually pleasant. I mostly used the sample on my hospital coat because it probably is the safest work scent ever!! One time I entered my office and the scent on my coat has filled the roam!! I was surprised because projection is usually non-existent. A pass for me.

I have Ebony Wood from Zara x Joe Malone on the left wrist, and this one on my right wrist. Probably cannot give a fair review for this reason. However, the perfume opens up reminiscent of citronella (mosquito repellant). Once it dries down, the powdery note offers a hint of musk and wood on my skin. Gentle, but offers a strong whif every now and then. Understated, soft, but with a bit of a backbone. Nice scent for staying at home.

Amber and cedar are the stars of this composition. There is a brighter almost watery/aquatic fruity note somewhere in there as well, but mainly it's a warm amber with a rather sharp but pleasant cedar and a clean white musk.

Really shy perfume.. like a white soft veil around you. I am a watermelon lover and this perfume hits the spot. It would be a 10/10 for me if it performed stronger. I spray 4-5 sprays and I can bearly smell it

Light fruity musk. If they are going to create fun titles they should at least make INTERESTING fragrances. Boring!!!

This is confusing. Probably because one can expect smth gentle based on notes, but Zarkoperfume's scents are actually quite strong. It opens with a band-aid slap, ozonic too, but a bit more like disinfectant... soon though sweet watermelon reveals itself. Very natural, but this mix with band-aid/disinfectant feels disjointed. Meanwhile there is lots of saltiness like damp skin contrasting with fruity sweetness... To be honest, I've no idea if its a dislike, ok or a like... if its intriguing or a let-down... The musk here is a bit sweaty skin-like, salty synthetic musk is more like seawater than a seabreeze on me, watermelon mellows down, but nondescript sweet fruity note stays... Definitely better, may-be even a bit sexy when sniffed from distance, a bit too dirty when too close. Certainly quite different from many other musks... p.s. dried down in sweaty musk, not nice on my skin. Its a dislike.

Another synthetic and strange offering from Zarkoperfume. Different people smell different things here if that makes any sense. I get very mild musk with some abstract mild fruity note and a faint powdery thing. I do not get fresh & natural watermellon at all so this is not for those who love this note. Longevity is low-moderate, projection and sillage are zero after 15 minutes.

A strange composition of musky aquatic cedar, making for a rather unpleasant combination of notes.

It is almost repulsive to me, the opening resembles of a wet dog rather than a perfume. But please bear in mind I really don't enjoy mush and only sampled it at random!

It's like a watermelon rind on the verge of turning sour, and you are also wearing furs or sitting on a sheepskin. Naturalistic. I actually like it, but not enough to buy it. It's insanely long-lasting. I have a blotter from the day before yesterday, and it's still going strong. Most perfumes are totally gone within 24 hours.

On it's own it feels a bit harsh. I layered it over a generic cheap vanilla-fruitchuli and the result is so beautiful and modern smelling. I've grown tired of the coco mademoiselle type sweet fragrances, so layering them with something more synthetic and masculine helps to switch things up!

Wow this fragrance is so good ! I got it as a gift in a gift bag with other items and never knew of this brand . Will definitely purchase when I am finished the 10 ml spray . I love musk and it’s such an unusual way of doing it .

I feel some similarity with YSL Elle and Dior's midnight poison, probably the musk. For me it works best layered with fresh citrus fragrances, it is smoothing the bitter and sharp notes
