Techno

a sparkling, effervescent rose and jammy red fruit opening with a bit of punchiness to it. There's an aromatic sage that offers a lot of freshness, and the patchouli creeps out to add some grounded earthiness. There's a creamy suede and leather thing going on with smokiness in the dry down coming from some dry incense and saffron. I really enjoy the powdery touch of sandalwood in the full dry down and how much smokier it gets at this stage, with remnants of those jammy fruits. I usually despise rose and patchouli but I find the way the other notes support them here are so enjoyable.

This has quickly become one of my favorites in my niche collection. Techno opens with warm, juicy, almost boozy, red fruits. A cloud of spice blooms in the dry down. Gorgeous, deep, resinous amber is present from first spritz throughout the entire wear. My eyes roll back when I smell this. I’ve also tried Techno on both my boyfriend and mother and it smells equally striking on them both. Very unisex and oh so sexy. Strong sillage and lasting longevity. Techno is worth the price for the quality in my opinion. It’s a work of art. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 10/10

happy movement <3 Techno is warm like body heat, warm like a dance floor packed with people. There’s a grit from the leather that calls to its Detroit roots, and a sourness from the fruitchouli. The rose envelopes the scent as opposed to a stand alone floral note. The saffron and pink pepper don’t cut through the leather, they work well alongside each other. You can’t tell if the smokiness is from the incense nature of the perfume or from the cigarette you smoked the night before. Lingers all night and into the morning. Zernell is a blessing to fragrance creation.

This one was definitely my favorite from my October 2023 Olfactif box. I prefer it to Disco from the same house. There is something that is both old school about it - especially when my fiancé wears it- but also something cool and modern - maybe moreso on me. It’s definitely unisex but to my nose a little more femme leaning, tho smells great on guys too. I’m really agonizing over whether to pick up a full bottle to share w/my partner but at $110 for just 30mL I will probably pass and keep an eye out on resale sites.

I got a bunch of the pink pepper, patchouli and red berries from this upon first smell. It’s so well blended and each note is so potent it kind of confuses me. This reminds me of static TV, and I mean that in the best way- the volume is a touch loud but you can’t help but stare at the oversaturated pixels scattering across the screen. It’s also the summertime. Reminds me of flipping through the channels at my grandmothers house. Such a fuzzy fragrance.

I live in Detroit and have been to many techno parties in my 15 years here. This doesn’t really remind me of that scene, but I like it. It opens with lots of red fruitiness and calms down to a slightly masculine warm spiciness with a lingering touch of fruit. The longer I wear it it goes from being more of a unisex sunny daytime scent to more of a masculine night time scent. I can’t tell whether I love it or just think it’s okay. I think maybe I would prefer it on a man. I think it’s definitely a going out scent.

A party! Opens up with a mix of juiciness and a the subtlest hint of celery seeds which I think is the pink pepper popping in to say hello. After about 20 minutes it begins to pull more masc with the leather and sandalwood shining through making this a beautifully berry-centric unisex frag. The sillage and longevity is fantastic so be prepared.

First sniff smells like when you walk into a Jamba Juice! I get fruity and a little rosy. It's fun and sweet and inoffensive while still being a little unique

Fruity, Incense, Leather. Not smoky or overwhelming, but more uplifting and inviting.

This one smells like an electric blueberry pie on me. Not a fan, personally.

I thought I wouldn’t jive with this one because some of the notes are my foes such as rock rose, leather and red fruits which could come off raspberry like which I’m not a fan of. However this is very nicely blended and nothing is screaming out or bombarding my nose. It’s a very sexy clubbing scent I would call it. It’s like rich and sexy berries with a splash of patchouli which I love. The name is perfect because it’s a bit wild like a rave! Finally got to try this house out and it hasn’t disappointed me!

I’m mostly getting bergamot, sage, berries, and rock rose (cistus ladaniferus, not remotely related to rose). I can detect the leather/suede, incense, and saffron... the rest of the notes bland into the background. So far, it reads as a masculine berry, unisex but more masc to me. Will continue to test this and add to my review.

not my taste exactly, and one of the notes (i think the saffron, honestly) makes me pretty nauseous, but the smell itself is not bad. very very warm, and just a little musky. clean yet gives the sensation of body heat. a friend of mine who wears a lot of musks and warm scents has been gifted my sample and very much enjoys it

I am becoming at Zernell Gillie STAN!! First one I tried was Hip Hop which I love so much. This one is fantastic as well! The red fruits are so yummy and fun. The dry down is a lot more ambery to my nose than Hip Hop is. I love how this is completely unisex. This was strong without being too much.

The juicy, red-berry-forward fruitchouli opening spins up like a killer track, amped with a spicy, aromatic melody that warms the floor. Then the dry down drops a deep, thumping bassline of amber, leather, and creamy sandalwood, pulsing with a hint of smoke machine haze. Hands in the air! 🙌🏻

Mixed red berries + suede + almost cannabis-y oakmoss. It's an aquired taste, but if you know and like that DNA (New Bottles Berry Benzz is another one), this is the next level. Zernell definitely has his finger on the pulse of indie perfumery.

Sweet and somewhat fruity mens style cologne. I detected no leather. Nothing special. ✨
