Biancolatte

To my nose, Biancolatte is a caramel bomb and I love it for that. I was a little unsure about paying so much for such a simple scent, but when I found a 90% full bottle for less than half of the retail price, I couldn‘t resist. This smells like you fell into a pot of sweet, buttery caramel (without getting burned, haha). The butter note is very noticeable, but it smells like butter caramels, not like pure butter. Especially the opening is so realistic and delicious, but after a couple of hours the vanilla makes it a little less foody and more smooth. This is super-strong and long lasting, I can still smell it on the next day. I sometimes find it annoying when a fragrance lasts that long or rubs off to my scarve, but this just leaves a nice veil of soft, warm vanilla and doesn‘t annoy me at all. It‘s super sweet, this is only for gourmand-lovers, but it‘s fresh in a sweet way... Something in it smells a liiiiittle small bit fruity to me, maybe there is one drop of something lemon-ish in this? Something that doesn‘t make it feel suffocating. Or maybe that‘s what they call the salt note in this, though I don‘t find this salty at all. I don‘t get the comparison to Britney‘s Intimate Fantasy, I own and like that one, but I don‘t find it caramelly, it‘s more of a sweetened musk to my nose and feels a less rounded than Biancolatte. This was recommended to me on the forums when I was looking for my perfect caramel fragrance and it's just that.

Oh my god! When I smelled this for the first time I knew I had to have it. This is a beautiful caramel scent! You can't compare this to any other caramel note. It is so pure, soft, buttery and sweet. This is a true gourmand, it's delicious. You basically want to lick your skin. Well, even others want to lick your skin. I used this fragrance at work the other day and several of my colleagues commented that I smelled like cake and candy. My boyfriend loves it and tells me I smell like butterscotch when I wear it. I have yet to encounter anyone who thinks it's sickening, but they probably haven't told me yet. I can see that this fragrance might be a bit too much for someone, just not for me. I wear this in summertime, daytime, nighttime, whenever I want to, just because I can. Just a note; I live in Norway and summer is basically like late winter/early spring in pretty much the rest of the world. If I lived in Florida I might not grab this fragrance for summer. To sum it up, this is a deliciously comforting scent that embraces you with lovely, buttery caramel. The longevity is good, about 4-5 hours on my skin (which is very good), the sillage isn't enormous, but if you get a little trigger happy it definitely gets noticed.

Love at first sniff. This is straight up sweet vanilla caramel. Sometimes I like to wear sweet fragrances without any fruity notes and this is perfection! It's a skin scent which is good, because a fragrance this sweet might be a problem around other people if it's too cloying. I say just enjoy the candy cloud surrounding your own sweetness. This is highly recommended for gourmand lovers. It may be difficult to find, but it will be worth it. I'm in the US and had to get a sample from an online boutique in Italy, but I'll happily splurge on a full bottle.

Gourmand fragrances aren't at all my cup of tea. I do, in fact, usually hate gourmands. But this one is so buttery and comforting! It smells delicious in a realistic way rather than just plasticky sweet. And it's very simple, realistic creamy vanilla. It doesn't overstimulate me like other sweet scents do. It's something I would never choose wear, it doesn't fit my aesthetic at all, however it's quite addicting and it doesn't give me headaches like other gourmands do. I think I could actually come around and start liking gourmands thanks to this scent!

Warm, vanilic, and cozy! This is such a delectable gourmand fragrance for the fall. I just love basking in this! In comparison to Lalao, this is a lot more vanilla forward, and the buttery-ness of this fragrance is more akin to a baked good. Lalao is much more lactonic, very much giving dairy product.

I ordered a sample from an Italian perfumerie and was pleasantly surprised. The notes are what you get – buttery, sweet, with a bit of a salty kick in the background. The salty note is not massively noticeable, but it helps to cut the sweetness of the caramel, preventing the fragrance from being sickeningly sweet. I'm struggling to smell the vanilla, but the butter is definitely there, which made me happy given that I was looking for a butter-dominant fragrance. Projection is not the greateat –it stays pretty close to the skin, but it's noticeable enough in close environments, such as the inside of a car. Longevity is good: I sprayed it in the afternoon (say 4pm) and I could still smell it midmorning the next day (at 10am). Some of the comments from this week were, "You smell like a croissant" and "It smells like a bakery in the morning, but in the best way". I enjoyed wearing it, especially given the colder weather. A fall/winter fragrance for sure, and definitely feminine. All in all, I'm glad I ordered sample – although I think it's a delightful fragrance, I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy. You'd really, REALLY have to love sweet scents. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing a full-size bottle because I can't really justify the full retail price, but if you're someone who LOOOOOVES sweet scents on the hunt for a good buttery scent, and if you're able to find a bottle for a good deal, I'd say go for it.

If you are a gourmand lover you will definitely fall in love with BiancoLatte! It’s sweet, creamy, buttery, lactonic with a pinch of saltiness! I love how it manages to be sweet but no way sticky sweet or overwhelming. It’s smooth and It has some airiness making it very interesting and unique in it’s kind. Opens up with a very prominent, realistic and mouthwatering buttery caramel accord, imagine the most premium high quality butter caramel, this is how it smells in the beginning. Butter & caramel work perfectly together creating a delicious combo you can’t resist! Soon enough vanilla comes up giving a warm, smooth, sweet and creamy lactonic feel to the scent. At that point the overall feeling is like when you make a donut glaze. Absolutely gorgeous, it makes me wanna eat my hand 😂 Also there’s a faint touch of saltiness giving the scent a very interesting touch and on the same time preventing the fragrance from being cloying. Projection and longevity are both moderate which is pretty good for this kind of scent profile. In fact it’s so soft and smooth that it makes it versatile enough to wear all year round except in high temperatures. Also I find it very interesting for layering purposes, especially with chocolate scents it must smell divine! Ig: fragrancesguru

This is delicious. It's mainly milk and vanilla like in Lalao from the same brand. I really liked Lalao as well, being a sweet, warm milk. In this they added a gentle caramel. It's reminiscent of Baileys in fact, like butterscotch diluted in milk. Actually I find it has alot in common with Britney Spears new Private Show but also Fantasy Intimate like someone mentioned earlier, I think both of them are very similar to eachother as well. Sometimes I get a whiff from the vanilla, and I'm reminded of the sweet, childlike vanilla from Lann-Ael. This one my boy really loved, he said it's his favourite of all my vanillas so far, which says alot. Too bad it has low sillage and this transparency to it, but I think we can attribute that to the intentional airiness of the fragrance. They weren't trying to create a thick, heavy gourmand.

When I first smelled this, I thought it was alright, but after smelling the new Kayali fragrances launch, "Boujee kitty caramel" (a sickeningly sweet caramel), I grew to appreciate this one more! This one is avery well blended caramel fragrance. It does not lean into a popcorn smell or anything nutty, just a true buttery caramel and vanilla.

80% fat from butter, a little vanilla-caramel and salt. Incredibly lovely! Not unisex at all, but a simple little gourmand stuff for girls. It's overpriced like hell, but if you layer it with Shay&Blue's Salt Caramel or anything with caramel or coconut or chocolate, it turns to be a masterpiece.

dominat Vanille with a discreet note of Caramel. I hoped for a more elaborate Fragrance. just a simply Vanille Caramel Perfume. nice but not for the price tag.

As most have said, it truly does smell like the glaze of a donut. If you have ever made glaze, it's like catching waffs of vanilla extract, sugar, and a hint of butter boiling in the pot if you hover your face over it. I have St Barth VWI and it smells similar minus the floral note. Also, though not listed, VWI has this faint cotton candy-like smell to it that Biancolatte doesn’t have which I like. I just wish that the scent projected more.

This does give me some of the same cotton candy-like sweetness that the Vaniglia/VWE scents have, but with a BL twist. The strength of this scent is my speed (it's very light wearing), but something about the scent profile is still off-putting to me, it feels like I'm wearing someone else's skin. It's good, it's just not for me.

Very buttery caramel scent. The butter is very prominent on initial spray then you get a soft milky/creamy sweet caramel with the tiniest amount of salt sprinkled on top, all on a bed of vanilla. It’s yum but very soft and close to skin. Ps: it’s a bit oily when sprayed like Vanille West Indies.

I get very powdery floral vanilla. Not a gourmand scent to my nose.

There is a floral tone to this that I cannot quite place and which doesn't appear in the notes above. Something light, bright, not a heavy floral note but a light whisper of one riding above the others. Butter is prominent here, but unlike with Guerlain's 2015 release Mon Exclusive, which deploys a butter note offset by lavender and the rich smoky guerlain vanilla, there is no counterpoint to temper it here, resulting in a fragrance that I find unbalanced and in too high a register for my tastes. This is mainly, to my nose, a sweet sweet sweet scent, lots of butter, a caramel that is relatively light but verges on the cloying side for me, and a pretty ordinary vanilla, plus of course that lightly floral note mentioned before. It does remind me of the smell of margarine when you start mixing in flour when baking. In fact, I think maybe that's the problem - the butter scent here is more margarine than butter; one of those that claims to be so buttery in flavour that you will question if it is actually margarine, but which never quite lives up to the promise. Overall this is very sweet, not quite toothachingly but definitely cloying for me. High pitched but not shrill, somewhat unbalanced, moderate longevity and sillage. Its a no from me.

Very similar to Lait de Biscuit Chabaud Maison de Parfum, Vanille West Indies Ligne St. Barth and Vaniglia Mazzolari, if a little less sweet than the last two. It's a no for me. I have a 1 mL sample if anyone is interested.

FINALLY got my hands on a decant and this is wonderful. Reminds me of a glazed donut! A fattening, buttery, calorie-laden donut with a smooth glazed icing. I love it. I'm leaning towards getting a bottle, but I'll see how I feel by the end of this 5 ml decant lol. Edit pt. 2: I ended up getting a bottle because this scent is divine and makes my gourmand-loving heart SING! I don't know how they managed to make something that must be so full of synthetic ingredients smell so natural and realistic, but they absolutely did it. I can smell the butter, the pinch of salt in the batter, as well as the pure vanilla for the glaze. This is incredible and I'm so happy I finally got the chance to get my nose on it.

For a fragrance with such typically rich, sweet notes, this has a nice soft almost airy feel to it. It's not sickeningly sweet or cloying. It's sweet and you'd have to love gourmands to like it, but it's refined and has a touch of classiness in comparison to some similar perfumes which overdose on the sweet and feel cheap or sickly. You can smell each of the 4 notes listed in equal measure, each one enhancing the others. The salt really comes in handy to keep this from being too much. At times this almost smells like a sweet butter cookie, and I believe some cookie recipes have a pinch of salt in them! Nicely done!

I am reviewing a sample kindly gifted by a Fragrantican friend: Biancolatte opens very similar to Britney Spear's Fantasy the Intimate edition, the resemblance is uncanny . Some extra sweet vanillic notes are then added slowly, and from the mid notes down it is pure sugary vanilla, overpowering even to my gourmand loving nose. This vanilla is neither natural or very synthetic, it is passable but so very sweet! Overall I was left with the inpression of a very sweet perfume, that was far from being unique or groundbreaking
