Iaia

I finally found a realistic strawberry with good longevity and sillage after about 20 years of searching! Iaia goes on (to my nose) as a sweetened, sugared real strawberry/berry blend. Nothing artificial to my nose. It is linear for me for 4-6 hours, which is fine with me, since I didn't expect much development out of a fragrance that has 3 notes. It's similar to Ava Luxe Strawberry, which is much weaker, no village, and just straight up strawberry. My husband also thinks it smells like a sweet berry, but he loves it on me (I'm in my 40's), and he doesn't think it makes me smell child-like. Zeromolocole does excellent fragrances, the longevity and sillage on nearly all their frangrances is excellent. I layered this strawberry with Sucre Noir by Arte Profumi (a sweet Vanilla, similar to Tihota), and I smell like a grown up strawberry shortcake. Men love this, I had one come up to me while standing at Peet's coffee, he walked past me, and said "Wow, you smell great!" I bought this from First in Fragrance, a German perfume shop that ships to the USA with 2 day shipping. There are a few other European companies that ship Zeromolecole to the USA as well.

This is a funny perfume, just like the vision of the creator, this is a perfume that reminds us about childhood. If you expect something intricate that develops into something more you'll be disappointed, because this is a linear scent, what you get at the end of the perfume's lifespan is the same with the one newly sprayed... Okay, the caramel comes out to play much later in the development, maybe 2 or 3 hours, but it's so subtle. The strawberry is synthetic of course, but really enjoyable. Don't blindbuy this.

I get a smooth strawberry infused caramel scent. It's not super strong, but it lasts. Very enjoyable!

Very long lasting and very powerful! Given the notes you really should not expect much. "Iaia" is a very linear scent opening with extremelly syntethic smell of strawberries - imagine a mix of air refreshnerer and a body mist and top it off with a strawberry soda. The first 4 hours are like mentioned above - a syntethic and extremelly annoying mesh of cheap smelling berries + some cottong candy sweetness. The drydown though is something different - a rich, pure caramel with just the trail of strawberry - now actually natural smelling. Bravo for the drydown, for capturing a strawberry scent that lasts so long and a huge "shame" for the first 4 hours - such an awful thing with such a wonderful ending.

Iaia Reminds me of my childhood in the 80's. There was a Hello Kitty store in my home town and the scent that hit the nostrils entering the store, was just like this perfume. If feels glittery, sparkling, full of unicorns, rainbows and so fun. Yes, it's sweet,)
