Above The Clouds

I get a nice combination of citrus, green notes, and florals in the opening of this one. If you don't like green scents, you might not like this. I don't find it to be overwhelming, so it works for me. In the drydown, the green notes dissipate and you still get the florals, but with a nice, light woody, musky base. It's not heavy at any stage and great for spring and summer.

This fragrance manages to be intensely aromatic and extremely delicate both at once - not a trick I thought any perfume that included cardomom and patchouli could pull!

Lovely but quite intimate and weak longevity for my tastes (though do note that I’m a fan of 80s powerhouse white florals, so my frame of reference might be different). That said, a nice white tea and white floral mix. I’m surprised to see so many woody-earthy notes listed among the base, as I don’t really get any of that. For me, it’s a prominent top/mid combo that fades quickly into a soft soapy/musky base. But truly after an hour or so it’s already the lightest of skin scents. Definitely find it overpriced for the price point I’ve seen it listed at here in the US, but that could be a regional issue.

It opens with a humid white‐floral haze that immediately turns into a Diptyque Eau des Sens clone. Waxy orange blossom, soapy LOTV, and warm musk overwhelm the bamboo and tea. Atmospheric only in theory. It collapses into that same Diptyque lotion citrus profile I don’t do well.
