Master 玉竹贯仲

Master is a green fruity fragrance. It opens up with bright, tart fruit notes and citrus which are short lived and it quickly morphs into a greener herbaceous scent with tartness from the fruits, although you don't really pick up the fruits all that much, it's a much more green fragrance as a whole. There's an underlying musky element that isn't too intrusive which is also very nice and keeps this from being too sweet. It's a little short-lived sadly (citrus and fruit tend to be) but again, it's not beast mode, Asian perfumery tends to more introspective and stick closer to skin. It is nonetheless beautiful. Definitely unisex, I'd say more for the spring and summer, although not in high heat and humidity.

Green, bright, fresh, uplifting, in a cool, damp, moss-covered, lichen-festooned spruce forest kind of way. The basil gives it an almost minty or lavender edge. I must admit I don’t really pick up on any fruit. The oakmoss accord makes it seem a bit traditionally masc to me. Unfortunately, it lasts only an hour or so on my skin. Seems suitable for a gym scent.

It opens with bright citrus and a touch of blackberry, but the overall impression is immediately more masculine. It is fresh spicy and aromatic with basil and zesty citrus—with a hint of sweetness. The green facet and the hint of oakmoss reinforce clean masculine structure, and the musk keeps the base crisp rather than soft. Overall, Master wears as a fresh aromatic citrus‐green scent with a light fruity accent.

Too fruity for me, probably my least favorite from this house. I do not understand the story (could be a translation issue tbf) behind this one in context to how it actually smells. Not a particularly unique or interesting fragrance either, in my opinion.
