A La Rose

I saw a lot of tiktoks and youtube videos about this perfume and opinions were divided. But this was so cheap, couldn't leave it on the shelf lol. This opens up with a whole lot of fresh citrus-y alcohol tbh. (It's a wide strong sprayer, accidentally sprayed on way too much, but it's not giving me a headache, i'm amazed/impressed). After 10 min, it smells like a warm, a little spicy, nectarine more than anything else(but not in a gourmand way). There is some freesia and osmanthus in the mix, a hint of rose, and something woody and spicy in the background. I can't pinpoint the spice, sorry! It starts off as a fresh clean fragance but the longer I'm wearing it, the warmer and cozier it gets. The sillage is between een armlength and 2mtrs with 4 sprays. I don't know what the longevity is yet, but wearing it now for 2 hours and still going pretty strong. I voted spring but this could definitely work as a fall daytime fragance as well. It's very feminine, classy, modest, old money, academic imo, perhaps a tiny bit generic, but yeah I don't mind. I don't know how much it resembles the killian fragance this one is duping. But for the 16 dollars I paid for it, this is def a steal. Imo you will smell like class, and i think it's a pretty decent/good quality scent!

This is a very spring-like fragrance, not because it smells heavily floral, but because it’s light and airy. It’s sweet, fruity-floral, and not heavy at all. On Fragrantica, osmanthus appears as the second listed note, but I have to say that while it does smell like a very juicy nectarine, it doesn’t really come across as osmanthus to my nose. It’s often described as having an apricot nuance, which in this case is true, but I don’t detect any leathery, woody, or lactonic facets at all. To me, it stays simply and clearly fruity. The projection is moderate throughout the day and fairly linear. As the hours go by, it becomes a more intimate, close-to-the-skin scent. It’s especially suitable for summer when it’s not extremely hot, for summer evenings, and of course for spring. This is a youthful, sweet, soft, and spring-like fragrance. It’s seductive without being overtly sexy, and it gives off a vibe of “I’m single and looking for a boyfriend” , something along those lines.

Just received it today and wow I really believe it’s an extrait de parfum as it’s so thick! I was expecting something really similar to Osmanthus by Molinard, but this one is definitely thicker, giving me more of Mancera’s Wild Python ( I haven’t tested Kilian gggb) It’s a nice scent giving me a bit of tropical vibes somehow. A la rose is definitely not a freshie , so overspraying it is not a good idea as i can see it quickly becoming cloying! It’s and elegant and feminine scent, I guess pleasant to most of people. Will leave it to rest as it’s an arabic perfume :) and will see maybe it will become even better!

Just got this in the mail, and it did not disappoint! I never smelled any Killian’s, but this does not smell cheap. This is my third Zimaya, blind buy. It’s giving fruity Armani My Way, the nectarine is sooo good. I’m shocked there is no orange blossom or honey listed, maybe it’s nuances. I’ll check back in on longevity and projections but I liked this out of the box with no maturation. Edit: I doused myself in this and went for a walk, could barely smell it and was a skin scent when I got home. Will try again in the heat, but 60 degrees was too cold.

Just got this & it's just meh. It's not aaaawful but it is definitely nothing special. I've never smelled GGGB so I can't compare it to that. But so far the longevity is weak, silage is weak, and the scent itself is just ok. Very light & airy with a little nectarine & rose. I'd return it if I could. Maybe once it sits for a while it will change. If so, I'll report back.

Extrait de Parfum for 17$? Sounds sus tbh, but it might actually be true. Nectarine and Rose are the main players here and actually are pretty intense and prominent. I sprayed this in a ventilated room, but this stuff just doesn't want to evaporate and lingers heavy. Also its leaning female heavily, but I feel like a guy could pull this off since this smells good, a bit sweet, with a nice balance of white flowers. This could be cloying as is in warm weather, but layering with tea note fragrances may add much-needed watery freshness and level this up.

Ok, so I let it macerate few months now. And now I have to come back and delete my old comment where I trashed it 🙈 I didn’t believe much in macerating that long but it does work somehow This perfume: a) opens very rich on the notes b) became beast - I sprayed on my hand, wait few min till dry - rub it - and my hand was like oily, imagine the concentration of the perfume oil here c) needles to say I can feel it now even after I washed my hand For the price I got it, it’s a wow.

This leans more into white florals with a bit of wood, but has little to no rose at all. I'm not sure if this is Philippine weather-friendly as well (I am from the Philippines), and if you'd wear this to the office, you'd get told that you smell like a grandma, as this is a bit of a mature scent. I love it though! Grandma scents are a real classic.

Too sweet. Made me realize I prefer Rose scents with some zing to it.
