Bouquet Red

Out of curiosity, I bought this one. The price was very low, and I got a beautifully packed 100 ml bottle of this quite luxurious smelling perfume. I had Ariana's Cloud some years ago. Bouguet Red has more notes and is more refined and expensive smelling (and looking) than Cloud. I still love this scent DNA, and I am happy to find such a perfect and well made dupe of the famous Baccarat Rouge. They really put effort in this one!

Have this one for a few weeks now.. It is very frustrating if you don't wear this with coution cause you will spray it on, you can't smell it, but 2-3 days later you can smell it strong on your clothes... I tested BR540 in shop a few times , not smelling this side-by-side, but I can't tell the difference from what I remember BR540 smelling... Yeah.. a special scent DNA with special corks..

Straight honey. Reminds me of kismet magic if kismet had higher quality and not complete trash, and the spices in kismet were replaced with saffron. I was hoping for a cotton candy scent that's been described by other when referring to the BR540 DNA but I suppose not. I'm not big on honey notes but I enjoy smelling it.

Picked this up at a price that was too good to ignore. The signature BR540 cotton candy note is there, but it's balanced alongside a prominent nutty, coffee-ish note that I haven't experienced before in a BR540 dupe. As someone who found Club de Nuit Untold to be overly cloying on my skin, this is much more to my liking. Quite a strong first impression, especially considering its price compared to other popular BR540 dupes, and I'm excited to see how this develops over time. Update: yeah, this is the real deal. It projects fantastically, and it also seems to be less prone to nose-blindness than other BR540 dupes I've tried. Personally I wouldn't say this is feminine-leaning, I feel like anyone can rock this as it's not overly candy-ish. I still think I slightly prefer Al Hamamain Amber Oud Rouge's almond-forward take on the BR540 DNA, but right now I don't feel the need to spend €40+ on it when I already have this.

Worst baccarat dupe. Smells like water. No sillage, no intensity, no projection. Pure water. Don't waste your money. Buy La rive Elegant woman instead.
