Crysta Oud

Like some other Zimaya fragrances, the projection is deceptively weak after a few hours, but the sillage lasts and you'll find yourself intercepted by your own trail as you walk around. Interesting bottle with a tall cap, unforgiving to any shorter shelf setup, which is a bummer because you won't want to keep it in the box. The box style is a classic, but the aesthetic design and cheap, polystyrene window make it feel like fake closeout designer chocolates at Home Goods. But, yeah, these are all just aesthetic issues. The fragrance is great, opening sharp and smoky with lots of rose and oud It dries down to develop a camphorous note from the interplay of the ginger, mint, and remaining juniper after the top's wear-off. But that doesn't make it masculine. It's just aggressive enough for men, but it's pleasant enough for women. The first genuinely unisex oud I've put my nose to. And it sticks to clothes like a marmoset on bark after hearing a passing Dubai tourist's wife.

Excellent fragrance, velvety oud, fruity, creamy, incense, uplifting spices. Rose and jasmine mix very well, not overpowering. Deep but not too dark juice in a beautiful brown glass bottle with a metal (not plastic!) cap. To me, this is a hidden gem at a low price.

The twist here is the fresh citrusy bergamot and spicy ginger that appear out of nowhere. It lightens up the whole fragrance, making it something you can actually wear during the day without feeling like you’re suffocating under a heavy oriental bomb. It’s like a fusion of Middle Eastern opulence and a fresh, modern edge, almost like a mix of Bleu de Chanel vibes. Cool, right? Longevity is on point—8 to 9 hours easily. And if you’re into projecting a bit of your presence, this will do that too, no problem. I’m talking about a solid 2 meters of scent bubble. The price is just insane for what you’re getting. If you’re over 23, and looking for something that’s not your typical oud experience, this is definitely worth a shot. Honestly, I’m giving this one a solid 9/10. It’s versatile, easy to wear, and just a straight-up gem. If you haven’t checked out Zimaya yet, now’s the time.

Opening: a blast of raspberry, fresh rose, and grapefruit. A fizzy, intense start that quickly evolves with a hint of benzoin and jasmine. The transition is rapid, and it settles pretty fast into a beautiful, open, "fresh" suede note. No harsh synthetics here, except maybe a slight sharpness right at the very top, but it smoothes out within minutes. Verdict: the fragrance itself has a fantastic scent profile. It reminds me of rare carbon (also from Afnan) This is for a mature wearer. Perfect for a formal event. for me, it's a solid 7.5/10.

I am inclined to write a review of this beautiful fragrance. It is the kind of oud and rose fragrance which I was looking for, where oud and rose both show their presence and the scent unfolds gradually, revealing other complex notes. It is a beautiful yet challenging fragrance. Not for everyone. I being a male and into Arab fragrances, absolutely adore this. It is traditional as well as modern. A pleasant oud and rose fragrance that will definitely please you. It stays on clothes for the whole day with a noticeable scent bubble.

Only bought this because of the bottle. And while the bottle is indeed beautiful, the smell really isnt. All i get is an overdose of oud and incense. It its deep and dark but nothing for me. Currently mascerating. Performance is good tho. 5.5/10

Sadly, on me this smells like some kind of cleaning fluid.

A winner 🥇 Fragrantica incorrectly has it labeled for just men but believe me this is a heavenly straight down the line unisex fragrance. Roses come through in the dry down along with the benzoin which creates a slight sweetness on my skin. A real compliment magnet and I've also come to realize that I'm in love with OUD. 10/10
