Hawwa Red

Maceration update: This perfume is clean. It’s like a female cologne! It’s stunning. Definite blind buy. You get fruits at the start but I wouldn’t say this is a fruity perfume once that hit has gone. It’s like I had a nice shower. Also, it now lasts me up to six hours. It probably needs longer to sit to get even better but it’s sat for 2 months now, so it’s almost there. Old review: I got this perfume for about £13, which is an insane price. I didn’t want Zawwa Pink because I already have Delilah as a Delina dupe. I just wanted to try this one because I don’t really own any fruity perfumes (except L’aventure Femme which is grim). My bottle was unfortunately only made last month so I think it needs to macerate to get the full effect. It starts quite fruity (not in a juvenile way!), but then the dry down has a cologne feel but not a masculine cologne feel. I don’t know if it’s the grapefruit giving it but it’s so beautiful and it’s actually very “sexy” smelling, which I would never expect from reading those notes. So this is my sixth hour wearing it and it’s almost gone and that’s why I think a damn good macerate will improve everything about this scent. At £13 a bottle (and a beautiful bottle and box at that!), you might as well give it a go. I will probably wear it this summer but I might actually give it a go for my brother in law’s wedding this October too because it’s got a fancy smell (I was going to wear Gucci Rush because I’m all red that day). I’ll check back in when I’ve macerated!

Is it me or does this smell like a weaker, but smoother Mayar by Lattafa? I get a lot of the raspberry and grapefruit in this just like Mayar, I’ll let it sit and see if it changes, but my bottle is from 9/23 so over a year old so I’m thinking this is as mature as it’s going to get. I’ll update at a later date if anything changes and what’s the longevity, this is a first impression. 1/27/25 So I’ve been wearing this for the past few weeks and here are my notes. It’s a well blended fruit cocktail with moderate projection, and 8+ hours on clothes and until you literally scrub it off your skin. It’s in that same angel nova DNA however it’s not screechy and there isn’t a very sharp grapefruit so I do like this a little better not gonna lie. 10 out of 10 for me and the packaging is just so beautiful.

Just got this. It’s allegedly supposed to smell like rouge trafalgar by dior which I’ve never smelled before. It’s a slightly sharp citrusy fruity champagne and the sharpness goes down in a few seconds (very quickly). The packaging has such bougie vibes It’s juicy, fruity I think I can smell raspberry, champagne, peach, orange and grapefruit. There is a nice vanilla in this too. One sniff is a fun fruit bomb, and one sniff is a very subtle cosy vanilla. I’m happy with this, I will update with longevity as I continue to wear it. I’ve washed my arms a few times (for cleanliness) and I’ve put on a Korean banana skin lotion and idk if it’s because of that but it’s got a slight masculine vibe to it now. I like it 😁

This beauty is amazing! I’m so glad it’s added here. I got it when I bought the pink one just out of curiosity and let me tell you, she is the more beautiful. I can foresee this bottle getting used up really fast! The clincher for me isn’t the divine scent that’s been described here, it’s the longevity. The first test it went from 8 pm until the next morning! Opens with a grassy green cassis and berry tartness, spreads into a juicy and fruity floral mid, almost rose like although no rose listed (maybe the cassis?). The heart lasts a very long time and then, at the end, she dries into a musky clean patchouli. A love for me! I need a backup ASAP!

Absolutely gorgeous fruity scent!! 😍 It’s so juicy and sweet and sexy and playful! I almost get a violet note! Beautiful strawberry 🍓 with raspberry, and very sweet candied almost syrupy blackberry ohh my so delicious 🤤😍!! Some musk and a tiny tiny bit of patchouli for the depth. If the patchouli note scares you don’t worry. You can’t even smell it. Absolutely beautiful scent !! It reminds me a little bit of the discontinued “VIP Private Show” by Britney Spears that I loveeeee!!! 😍😍😍 Absolutely gorgeous!!!!! Well done Zimaya!!! 👏👏❤️

I’m happy they’ve finally got this on fragrantica. The pink counterpart will likely have more attention that this red one because of the pink one’s resemblance to delina de la rosee.

This smells so Good and fruity, perfect spring and summer fragrance. It’s not a beast mode at all but for the price it’s pretty good.

First impression straight from the box: What a fun surprise! I was worried it was gonna be too much like super sweet strawberry candy but this is pleasantly bright and tart! I get mostly cassis and grapefruit with a juicy sweetness. I really nice bright and sparkly (summer) scent! Edit 8/2025: Sparkly cassis/currant musky scent. I like that it's still not too sweet even after having sat for a good while. It is still a little weak on the performance though, at least on my skin. The first 30 min the projection/sillage is fine, but after that I feel like it sticks really close to skin. Because of the (pretty prominent) clean musk it does have an ok/moderate longevity, but you need to be pretty close to smell it. Maybe spraying on clothes would be better if you need stronger projection?

Status: Macerating First Impressions: She’s not loud yet, but from the whispers? Oh she’s promising. Something in the light scent says she’s gonna grow up real fine. Give her some time in the dark, and she might just show out. 👏🏽 📝 “She’s quiet now, but she’s giving ‘late bloomer turned prom queen.’ I see the vision. Can’t wait to meet her fully.”

This one deffinitely needs its time for macerating-at first it was just mess of sour berries and some woods with no staying power or sillage but after sitting in dark for two months it has become a fluffy strawberry marshmallow scent, juicy and pretty, not too juvenile for such a fruitiness, with good staying power of about 6+ hours in skin.

Smells pretty! Imagine the word pretty & feminine, that's what Hawwa red gives but for the low low. Fades quite quickly on me so letting it sit for now.

Very good and is similar to Rouge Trafalgar. Very happy I bought it blindly.

it smells okay, but it disappears very quickly. smells very perfumey.. also has some makeup smell, maybe lipstick? too bad it is so weak

A little fruity, a little spicy and a little green. Not for me.

How often are we going to make more Kirke dupes? Redundant, headache inducing, too much.

Unsuccessful blind buy. This $20 perfume smells like a confusing concoction of discordant notes. An inexpensive fragrance and smells cheap. Smells like old fashioned, artificial “red flavored" sour ball candy with a sharp green note. Bottom heavy. Unbalanced. Hard to describe. Simply not good. No-go: This is a bumpy ride on a magic carpet having difficulty staying airborne. Too heavy. Too close. Unpleasant.

Sadly I do not get RT. I get Blue Heart by Thameen, a perfume I decluttered since I could not tolerate it. I'm not sure how long i'm supposed to leave it alone to 'macerate' but I retried it yesterday and it still stinks. I get patchouli, saffron, and some synthetic fruit notes, nothing at all close to the lovely Rouge Trafalgar. Rouge Trafalgar reminds me of Manakara if they took the rose note out and added strawberry. It's probably my favorite fruit fragrance ever. I know fruity fragrances get a bad rap and aren't always respected in the fragrance community but being able to make it quality, balanced, appealing, sophisticated and still fun is no easy feat. I tried this, hoping to save some money but alas, I'm going to have to shell out some cash for RT.

Under 20 dollar fragrance that includes successfully subtle strawberry in the fruit mix, without being cloying, without smelling cheap, and a pleasant warm and fuzzy base. Good start. Let's see how it changes after sitting for a couple months.

Here goes a cocktail of fruits in a bottle. First, it smells a bit grassy because of the cassis note. Then it dries down to juicy fruity notes. It is subtle enough to wear it every day and all year round.

This would be a summery, fruity, sparkly, quite juvenile perfume, but that musk... why that much musk?
