The fragrance is really unique. I didn’t try Tero yet but I find the fragrance similar to D&G’s The Only One. From the beginning until the dry down you can clearly detect the caramel and the pepper which give off a nice burnt caramel vibe that appears also in Dolce Gabbana’s The Only One. It lasts basically the whole day (6/7 hours) with rather strong projection (4ft). You can also smell the oak which gives off a slight vetiver and cedar wood vibe but it’s more in the background so it’s perfect for this fragrance. I wouldn’t say that the fragrance is annoying, but it’s for sure pungent. It’s a thick fragrance but it’s not hard to wear. Overall I find the fragrance very creative and unique, therefore a perfect signature fragrance. I would give it a good 3.5 stars for the smell and 5 for the performance. The reason why I’ve given it a worse grade for the smell is due to the fact that the fragrance is a quite difficult smell, meaning that it takes a good nose and time to fall in love it. Although it happened to me right on the first spray :D

Straight out of the box, I'm getting powdery cardamom and caramel. A touch of oak. No pepper, cinnamon, or patchouli. Very nice. Gourmand-esq because of the cardamom interrupting the gourmand nature. The caramel itself is syrupy-sweet; like, more sweet than caramel would naturally be. But the overall scent is not too sweet. Seems to have decent performance. Will await maturation.

Right so im reviewing this considering i had 2 bottles of Nishane Tero. Is it a close dupe of it? Yes. Is it as good as Tero? Yes. Is it worth it? Damn right it is. Its honestly 1:1. Sure maybe the caramel is a tiny bit more noticeable but for some thats better so not a biggie at all. Honestly i love it, just know it needs a bit of macerating at the start.

At first I could only smell the perfume for 30' after spraying. After 2 months or so the perfume is strong. Beautiful sweet caramel with peppery spicy notes. The scent ist dry and has a kind of pencil-shavings impression. The patchouli with the amber and the cinammon give a smoke-woody solid base. The fragrance is a pleasant spicy gourmand. Recommended

The notes are matching tero but all I get is weathers original caramel.. I love gourmands got a sample with my order and enjoyed the sample. very warm creamy and comforting. Leans feminine with the opening this is new in my collection this was less than £20. 6.5/10

This is an amazing cheap fragrance! I bought this by the end of last winter about $20 and i wore it to a meeting with friends in a pub, and got complimented by my friends and some waitress, lasted 10-12h on my skin and days in clothes. For the price is a banger

Very nice frag. Carmel is there and up front but not overly sweet. Aromatics round it out very nicely. Afnan has put out straight trash, but this is a very nice frag for any carmal enjoyer. Nowhere near a true gourmand. 10/10

Why does it say for men? Isn't it unisex?

Pretty decent but something feels off in the scent profile. The overall resulting blend of sharp spice from pepper, sweetness from caramel and slight saltiness don't go all well together as the blend is not smooth to juggle the nuances of the complexity of individual notes. Its not straight up bad or horrible smelling but its not something that I would pick up wholeheartedly as my primary choice to wear on a random day for the availability of better options. Performance is decent-ish, lasted for about 5-6 hours on my skin with a rather airy projection in the first hour or a little longer; maybe it will be better with maturation as time goes by, which often happens with the ME fragrances. Overall, I think this is a rather forgettable offering from Zimaya which never really makes a mark on any front, but I do commend and appreciate their effort to clone something unusual and hope we see more of such unique releases in the future.

This is 95% Tero for fraction of the price. I have a sample of Tero and I liked it a lot, but unlike other Nishane I didn't feel the price was justified. This pretty much scratches the itch at a bargain. Only drawback I see is you really have to like pepper and caramel, because both are pretty much just that. Performance and longevity are beast !

Salty Caramel + huge dose of pepper, that's it. Mazaaj is an unusual sweet gourmand fragrance but it's actually really pleasant, especially if you like peppery fragrances. Good performances and nice bottle, perfectly unisex. 8/10

This fragrance isn't as much as I thought it would be, its sweet yet spicy formulation. I like it, it's great for fall and winter seasons, comparing with Lattafa Kamrah Qhawa, they are both in par but performs less than qhawa. It's great for compliment getters and very gourmand. Safe blind buy and worth every penny.

The smell is nice, unisex in my opinion. I just opened it and it's feels like it gets really quick to a skinscent. I dont think you can offend anyone with this since its a pleasant smell and you don't kill anyone with it.

The oak note is very prominent. Dry, almost like paper. It is still very unisex. It's interesting, but I haven't yet decided if I actually like it. Amber and caramel stay as a skin scent for a very long time.

Arrived today. I really like the smell (sweet and spicy), but the performance is weak. Let's see if it improves.

This perfume has an overall scent reminiscent of coconut!

Really don’t like it unfortunately. Very annoying smell of caramel. Smells little bit like sol de Janeiro For the price I think its ok, but I will not use it

I bought this perfume as there seems to be good reviews on it but mine smells extremely cheap and synthetic. I unfortunately cannot wear this. There are much better caramel/ amber fragrances which are affordable, however, this is not it.

I get tons of compliments for this fragrance, more than any other in my collection honestly, however, i find it very headache inducing. I personally can't wear it because the moment i spray it my head hurts.

Fruity peppery opening, very bright, zesty and sweet. Definitely a lot more sichuan pepper than the heavier black pepper that is listed alongside it. The caramel is also front and centre, but it's quite light -- it's not gourmand-ish and heavy, moreso a creamy backing note. After sitting on my skin for an hour or so, it has mellowed out nicely and there's now a minty-amber note that is absolutely delightful together with the pepper and caramel. The composition of this fragrance is very unique actually -- not at all what I was expecting. Well worth the money.

For the cheap price, this one is a VERY good perfume. I usually love sweet and ”gourmandy” scents and this one is not sweet at ALL but I could still enjoy it. It’s a bit spicy but the OAK takes over all the other notes. It really smells like a OAKTREE haha! It’s masculine but still UNISEX. The packaging is luxurious. Great job Zimaya!

Smells like buttery caramel. Very very sweet, more feminine learning. Not bad by any means but really one-dimensional. Since i bought it for about 15 bucks im not too disappointed. Might wear it in winter...
