Musk Is Great

Clean,smooth,Perfectly animalic musk scent profile with lovely florals and the powdery almost milky warmth of sandalwood noted go crazy on this one. Smells high quality expensive and lovely for its price range. At first spray definitely the Citruses hit and they sorta create this musky citrus combo we’re all familiar with which is an either a love or hate typa thing in many musk centric fragrances. Initially the drydown is very sweet musk with the perfect amount of animalic accords and then the sandalwood just hits but it doesn’t overpower the musk notes it merely compliments them very well. What makes Musk Is Great special is that it’s a cool type of musk that works in any weather and season and time of day lol. It’s a super musk oriented fragrance so be aware of what you’re getting into. There is a synthetic metallic accord in the fragrance that’s very much in the backdrops during the drydown and post fry down so watch out for that I don’t think it ruins the scent profile overall because I only believe it adds to sensual feeling of the musk that still projects crazy. There’s a black currant note listed here which if it actually is there then I can confirm there’s this tart robust fruity accord that blends well with the citruses in the background because the musk is the star of this fragrance of course but it’s pretty noticeable. This is 100% repurchase worthy I owned a bottle in 2021 which was mad in longevity and projection if you don’t feel the same maybe you need to macerate it to save it from reformulation. I know that the whole "last all day"comment is either a delusion or a gimmick most of the times but: this is one of those fragrances which actually last a whole day with 6 sprays or more at the same time stays on clothes till the very next day. Projects crazy 8-10 hours of strong projection that starts chilling down at the 6th hour-ish Actual longevity is like 17 hours minimum with the batch I got. Sillage is like 4-6 ft for a stretch. Amazing for layering scents. Could give you a headache. They’ve used a very lovely iso-E-Super musk accord combo for this one which promises a very accurate musk scent profile but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s even 0.0005% real musk in it anyways. A lot of middle eastern vibes but still it’s comparatively mass appealing. I’m looking forward to repurchasing this one and macerating it anyhow to see how stronger it can Get. Moreover it’s an all time scent. Mind you it’s very overpowering And the best from zimaya blends performance wise. Maturation is key on this frag. It's a personal skin scent. I enjoyed the scent after clearing the automizer and a proper 3 months of maturation. It's a gentle citrus, fresh musk. Longevity is good, no sillage. I wear this one for doctor appointments, volunteering at the library, etc. If you work in such environments it might be a good choice. It is a relaxing scent. The presentation is lovely, and giftable at a fantastic price point.

Musk is Great is one of my favorites. It comes across as dense, yet lightly fresh. The citrus and florals are not overly present and there is a smooth powdery presence. The fresh, moderate to heavy projection lasts for quite awhile. It is an excellent hangout fragrance but can be pulled off in intimate situations as well. I also wear it to freshen up after a hit sweaty work day. I really enjoy this one~

Once scent settles on your skin, it continues to smell nice for a long time as a mint-musk scent. The sweet smell upon first use not very attractive or may repulsive. After 1 hour, the musk scent appears in its best form. I advise. 7/10

I can only assume that most people writing extremely negative things about this are judging it solely by the opening. That first stage is metallic-sweet in a way that feels hardcore — sharp, screechy, and not of this world. Unfortunately, the most irritating part can linger surprisingly long, so your overall impression will depend heavily on how much patience and tolerance you have for that. The problem is not only the opening, though, but also that this is not the type of fluffy, clean musk people expect from the name and from the comparisons. Instead of a soft comfort scent, you get something cold and aggressive. It shifts right after the opening burns off. Once settled, it reads as musk-first, with powdery, creamy, milky, and sandalwood notes. It's a bit lactonic and animalistic. Performance is strong. For most of the wear, the projection is extreme, and the longevity is very good as well. Today, I oversprayed it and basically turned myself into a floral-green air freshener tree, which makes sense because those aspects are in here too. As a veteran in going to every possible medical specialist, I consider it nonsense to call it medicinal. Reading reviews of this, I get the impression that we're describing something completely different. This is probably one of the most overhated perfumes I've seen, but I guess it works great as a super unsafe blind-buy. It's a high-impact, polarizing musk with a notoriously harsh, tennis-ball-like opening and a MUCH better drydown. As a budget oddity, it's fine. If you want something in a similar vein but better executed, get Ajmal Musk Silk Supreme instead — you'll probably be satisfied, and the quality there is definitely higher. I bought this based on the notes that are similar with Musk Therapy. Well, if you buy this in the hope that this would smell like Initio, you'll maybe be disappointed. Mind you, it does somehow have a slightly similar vibe in the drydown, but this is screetchier and far less creamy and it isn't so well blended. The musk quality in here isn't as great as in Musk Therapy. Musk therapy is far much cleaner, creamier, fluffier and doesn't give headaches. Musk is Great has a soapy musk, not an animalic and Erba Pura like musk, which is a big thumbs up for me. The musk in here is okay, but you can't compare it with the musk in Musk Therapy. You cannot tell that Musk is great is an affordable dupe for Musk Therapy, because it's not a dupe. Yeah, as a standalone fragrance, it's a good cheap musk fragrance, no doubt, but the composition overall is much more synthetic and if you overspray it might give you headaches. In conclusion, it's not great, not terrible of a fragrance. The bottle and the packaging are gorgeous for the price of 14€, also the scent is great for that amount of money. My bf said this slightly reminds him of Dior Sauvage, maybe because of the musk and the citruses. Overall, a good budget musk fragrance, I don't regret the purchase, although I'm disappointed that it doesn't resemble Musk Therapy, just slightly in the drydown. ................... Bottle 8/10 (I don't quite like the design of the cap and the final touches, but the box is gorgeous); Scent 7.5/10 (it's a like, but not a love); Longevity 7/10 (maybe 4 hours but I need to test it more, as it just arrived today); Sillage 7/10 (slightly more for personal space, but again, need to test it more).

This would’ve been more acceptable to a lot of people if it wasn’t for the opening, it’s smells like a cheap tennis ball, not only that it’s strong and unpleasant that unfortunately last for an hour or more (you have to be patient with this horrible smell). But at least the dried down is more acceptable for me with its fruity, musk and woody. The longevity of this is really great, sometimes it last 8 hour and sometimes it last 15 hour or even more (because I fell asleep every time and didn’t know when it stop). Update: 2 years later. Interesting, this is kinda better, less of that unpleasant opening, and the dry down is still the best part. Its not strong as it use to be its very soft now and not long last as it use to be. Don’t blind buy this.

I smelled the OG and fell in love, but unfortunately don’t have £300+ to spend. I bought this as an alternative. I read the reviews and was quite worried I’d not made the right choice. First spray is quite sharp, but the dry down is great. I’ve smelled side by side and the OG is slightly sweeter and smoother, however they are close. I’m hoping letting it sit for a month or so increases its smoothness. I’ve got so many great layering combos in mind 👌

This perfume is insanely lasting, I sprayed it yesterday and I can stil smell it a little. It's not great for everyone, some people will hate it. I think it's a great fragrance, very animalic, perfect for layering. EDIT: The longevity of this perfume is unbelivable. I don't understand how other perfumes die down after few hours, but this one, this one last so long it, keeps me wondering how come? How come this perfume lasts so long?

Its powdery, creamy, strong and cozy. You have to like musk and sandalwood. These are the star in this perfume. Its not rocket science in this. Its very simple and plane and those notes follow the perfume to the end. Its cheap and have a middle projection and last kind of 8 hours or so. Not bad for the price.

A nice clean white musk. Quite fresh. Not bad. Leaves a pleasant mild milky powdery smell. A versatile perfume. Really well made bottle. A like from me. But, this could well be a grower. *Update* There's a nice creamy silage exuding from this.

Altho im not a musk lover. This is the first musk perfume that i love. Its elegant for an event and for the night. It doesnt smell like piwder or cleaning products. Its really good i love it

The best one by Zimaya. The only problem is a weird metallic dry down. Other than that, I got a few compliments indeed.

it's unique in being the first fragrance that actually managed to make me feel sick. I expected something light and bright, the smell that would fit nicely with the color of the bottle. perhaps the Asian MB Legend Spirit you know. the smell I'm getting though should be in purple or red bottle. it's just a super aggressive and unpleasant mess to my nose. obviously, it's an instant dislike and already has a new owner, who surprisingly likes it. of course she does, she got it for free. btw, marketing this as unisex is crazy. no way, not where I live. this is unisex the same way pink sunglasses with little hearts are. nobody is going to beat you in the middle of the street because of it, but most would think there's something "wrong" with the guy wearing them. I've owned it for like 3 hours before gifting it so I can't say anything about performance. to think I was planning on getting the brown one (amber) as well...

My mom bought this and I thought it smelled freaking amazing on her...so I tried it on myself and it smells absolutely horrific on me. Like blackcurrants jam gone off mixed with metallic strong musk...but on my mom it smells very classy, fresh, bright, cozy and clean. I just wanted to put out there that with this perfume skin chemistry really can be a gigantic world of difference. This is one of those perfumes where it isnt the wisest thing to blind buy it. A 9 out of 10 if worn by my mom. A 3 out of 10 if worn by myself.

this perfume is so soft (NOT WEAK, that's different). sprayed 2 times on the left neck and 2 times on the right neck (I mostly sprayed 2 times max for daily use) very OK for self-enjoyment. seems very dry after 1 hour, but I still can sniff the perfume after that. SPL is 7 hours on my skin and 18 hours on my clothes. If you're looking for a perfume with the bast-mode sillage (expecting the compliment), this will not be suitable for you. best suitable for daytime and will not be suitable for the winter / cold situation.

Woah. Bought on Mercari and it was halfway used, so I assume it has matured. Well, this is extremely cheap smelling and unrefined. All I get is a blast of cheap spearmint, like aftershave. It’s been 3 hours and I still smell spearmint mainly, and a bit of soapyness, which I wouldn’t mind. This should not even be compared to Musk Therapy. This fragrance is pretty strong in terms of sillage and long lasting on skin. Too bad it smells terribly cheap and screechy. Then again, maybe it’s just my bottle.

I had high hopes about this fragrance but to be honest Musk is great has such a scratchy opening with clashing notes and is definitely not pleasant to my nose. Unfortunately. If you are looking for a fragrance that resembles Initio Musk Therapy go for FW Glorious Oud Royal Blanc. It is better constructed and has MT vibes for sure. Dani @deepgreenbeauty

This scent is truly indescribable. I don't detect any floral or cassis notes, just animalistic musk and a hint of mint. I bought it out of curiosity, but it didn't suit me. If you're a brave, adventurous person like me who wants to trade this, please let me know. Or if you're looking for an incredible beast mode perfume. Exchange is limited to Japan.

My nose must be sensitive to something in this perfume, as I cannot sense any of the notes. All I get is a puch to the face and a burning sensation in my nostrils accompanied by a strange harsh, screechy somehow metallic scent. Had to crub it off. On a positive note, it certanly has good staying power.

Powdery cheap musk ok, for the best part of it. And something spicy and woody, dark, very tenacious. Maybe oud, or something approaching. Not sure about this one, I don’t find it easy to wear at all. Indeed I find it sad, kind bad moody.

I don’t even know what this stuff is. Not really pleasant to the nose . It smells nothing like described online. Don’t know if I got a bad bottle! but I would not recommend buying this. It’s definitely not feminine whatever it is.

Terribly harsh and so strong. I had to scrub my arms to be rid of the scent. Even after allowing a significant dry down period, it never softened enough to be tolerable. I love most music and this wasn't even close.

There is nothing great about this perfume. It's a harsh, synthetic, citrusy chemical mess. The lasting power is good, the performance is strong. I left it in dark place to macerated for over a year, still an incredibly strong chemical mess. It has nothing to do with musk therapy in any way. Not a safe blind buy. I recommend to avoiding it.

Oh man. This one is so bad. I was hoping for a soft, pillowy, clean musk. I really hated this. It smells like sharp aerosol deodorant on unwashed undies... I could not muscle through it. I took it to the local donation center.

The first hour of this fragrance is genuinely the most vile thing that I have ever smelt, after that, the fragrance goes from a solid 0/10 to a ~3.4/10. Do not buy ts, please.

It opens clean and musky and almost immediately goes to a weird metallic/rotten tooth smell , I tried it several times with the same result, gave it away soon after.

I blind purchased this one- I am happy it is at least cheap. It smells on me like a very cheap old male Cologne- lacks any depth or development.

This one and Lattafa Teriaq both smell to me animalic. I smell anything but leather or animal. It is just discusting to my nose.

This doesn’t smell like musk therapy (I own both), but it has a great similarity with Zara Fashionably London, which is quite a nice fragrance featuring musky roses, and here I could assume that the floral part is somewhat rosy, but could be magnolia, and features a black currant note. Mine is in a Noya package (identical to Zimaya’s and I’m imagining both are the same thing ) If I have to use references to describe the musk underneath the fruity floral top it is a lot like in MMM Lazy Sunday Morning musk (under white floral top) or Schezo (among rosy-oudy notes), this one stays in the middle and the quality goes in a Zara Fashionably London direction and it’s quite great for a fresh musky scent to wear with your white clothes on a the sunny “let’s hang out” day. It’s fresh, bright, nice projection and longevity. I’m quite happy with my bottle, especially for the price!

Looks like I’ll have to let this sit for awhile. I first sprayed this and man was it stinky and not pleasant at all this smelled like straight deer urine spray. I was so disappointed and couldn’t believe it was that bad, I had really high hopes for this. I wanted this to be that powdery soft pleasant musk smell like an Egyptian or Arabian musk. Yes it was a cheap purchase but still a lose in my book.

Very good an interesting perfume. Unisex, 60% on the feminin side. White, bright, fresh, lactonic and baby powder. Super price (15 euro/100 ml) and performance (12+ hours, on skin, constant projection). Stunning box and bottle. PS. Nothing in common with Baccarat Rouge 540.

This perfume is absolutely crazy! Very medical, very - to a point of painfulness! It even takes me to my dental clinic. Artificial and not comforting. There is no moment when it is tamed and I don't feel it. However, I somehow like it. The dry-down is great!

I received this and was a little disappointed to find it’s just another rehashed version Baccarat Rouge 540...*sigh*

it has nothing to do with musk therapy, it's WAY better than musk therapy.
