**All perfume/cologne smell different on everyone’s skin because of natural scents. I recommend spraying it on your skin before buying. Or knowing your natural odor/smell before BLIND buying.** Personally, I LOVE this scent. It IS masculine when smelling it from the bottle and even on my skin, which I have a sweet citrus-y natural smell. BUT!!! It is such a lovely smell on both men and woman! Oscar by Zimaya has a VERY aromatic* introduction with a bit of sweetness. At first smell, that clary sage and orange is a bit more pronounced to me but it’s not severely overwhelming at all unless sprayed too much. The initial FEELING of the smell is definitely sharp/awake but over time with the dry down it mellows out, becoming warm because of the smoky incense and tonka bean. The masculine smell definitely comes from the musk and cardamom, giving it that manly/woodsy vibe. The sweetness is very mellow, noticeable but not overpowering, and is more pronounced later rather than first spray. This is definitely a safe blind buy if you know what scents you like. If you are one of the many people who hate anything pepper (me too twin), you don’t need to worry about it in this scent. It’s really not pronounced, and the other scents blend beautifully with it. Unless you are super SUPER sensitive to it, this should be relatively safe. This can obviously smell different on everyone. I specifically have a sweet lemony natural scent, almost going into an earthy territory. This smells AMAZING on me. Still citrus-y masculine but it’s SO warm with the dry down. After a while, it turns into earthy, woodsy, little sweet, and (obviously) musky vibe. The citrus-y scent doesn't disappear on my skin but I noticed it does fade away on my boyfriend’s. He has a clean woodsy/spice natural scent. Over all opinion: - Opening scent from bottle and spray: 7/10 - Initial dry down on skin: 8.5/10 - Hours later: 9/10 - This scent definitely has initial spray inaccuracy, so spray it and keep it a while before deciding you dislike it. - Falls on the sweeter side for men but it is still very masculine. - Works well any time except summer! Unless you have a non-sweet natural scent. It’s a bit too warm on the dry down for summer. - PERFECT for day and/or night wear. - One of the very few perfume/colognes that give off a clean, but warm smell. (Very balanced) - Lasts 10+ hours if sprayed between 2-5 times. - Sillage is DEFINITELY 6 feet if you spray 2-5 times. - CAN be headache inducing because of sharp initial scent, and/or from black pepper. *(an aromatic smell is strong, pleasant, and often sweet or savory fragrance deriving from spices, herbs, plants, or resins)

I expected a dry, woody, "forest" scent. I was totally wrong. The Opening: When you first spray this, it’s not what you expect. It hits you with a very bright, sharp citrus and clary sage opening. It’s fresh, zesty, and has a great "pop" to it. But that freshness is just the intro. The Mid & Dry Down: Give it about 5 to 10 minutes and the transformation is crazy. That citrus settles down and this thick, buttery caramel starts to take over. This is where the JPG Scandal Pour Homme DNA really shines. It’s sweet, resinous, and warm, likely from the Tonka bean and a bit of amber/resin. The Vibe: It’s definitely a "sweet" fragrance, but the vetiver in the base keeps it masculine enough that it doesn’t just smell like candy. It’s smooth, loud, and feels very high-end for the price. The bottle is heavy and high quality, which matches the juice inside. My Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a "green" or "piney" scent, this isn't it. But if you want a powerful, citrus-to-caramel transition that gets compliments and smells like a "Boss" version of Scandal, Zimaya Oscar is a 10/10 steal. Great for date nights or cold weather. Another blind buy but for a very good price. I honestly wasn't expecting this kind of scent and quality for this price. At first spray ,out of the box , I thought I made a mistake and bought another bad scent but after a couple of days, it started to get good and after a few weeks it turned into a great and amazing scent that I absolutely love. To my nose it's almost like a tropical scent with caramel. It's a smooth and very elegant scent that I enjoy alot. There is almost a coconut vibe in there which I love. I wish I could describe the scent for you much better but it's hard being a newbie and all. All I can say is you can't go wrong with this scent for such a low price. Strange that this scent hasn't been noticed or hyped up as much as far worse scents out there. In conclusion: This is a lovely scent for me. A pure jackpot in blind buy. Low price but amazing scent. Very charming and elegant. Awesome work by zimaya. I wish they would make more scents like this to wear all year around.

Scandal is slowly becoming one of my favorite DNA's I wasn't too sure of this one at first but as stated in other comments. This is no different than all the other clones. This one is just more on the cheaper side of them, but for what you are paying for the quality bats way above its price point. Who is this for? This is for a true fragrance curator, not someone just collecting as many fragrances as they possibly can and then hating on it. If you're looking for Scandal? Then I would encourage you. Just go buy Scandal. But if Scandal isn't in your budget, I would say that it would be hard to deny that this fragrance doesn't fit the profile. Is this going to be an exact copy? No at they're core no clone is. Lastly. This is a $20-$30 fragrance at best. Set your expectations accordingly. But in my experience, this is a good fragrance for what you are paying.

Very similar to Lattafa 'Sheikh Al Shuyukh Supreme' and Armaf 'Mandarin Sky'. They all have the same, fruity forward caramel DNA. The differences are minor between the three but I prefer Oscar mainly due to the fact that the bottle feels more premium and is the only one of the three that doesn't have the nauseating turquoise color. The scent itself is wonderful; I smell pear, apricot, mandarin and a lot of sweet, buttery gourmand caramel. Smells great on skin and lasts very long on clothes. Perfectly unisex.
