Yaa Umree

Blind buy based on the name (in Polish, Yaa Umree translates to "I'm going to die" :)) and accord pyramid here. Luckily, the fragrance is not lethal. In fact, the somewhat plain bottle hides a lovely scent! And I don't think it's a clone, but rather an original. I very much enjoy the top note of musk here, makes for a warm and fluffy companion to the jasmine. The vanilla is not really present on a testing strip, but does come through on my skin in a sweet way. But then, in the head, my favourite lily-of-the-valley comes out and stays for quite a while. The salt only comes out on the skin, also. The drydown is warm but also fruity thanks to the mandarin. The white florals linger for some time as well. I think the idea was for a spring/summer scent, but I love it. I think the musk and sandalwood have the potential to carry this into autumn without problems. It'd class it as a day scent, and very office safe. On my skin, this fragrance lasts for around 8 hours, with the last 2 being quite weak. Sillage at arm's length for much of the stay. Look, I'm a big lily-of-the-valley fan. Add it to a perfume and I will love it, much like both Mary Berry and Prue Leith will fancy any cake with booze in it. This gets 4 out of 5 boozy cakes for LOTV, and 5 out o5 paperclips for being an office appropriate crowd pleaser.

I bought this based on the bottle and the only two reviews I’ve seen about it online...and Im so glad I did. Right now I am 6 hours into wearing it and it’s definitely more of an intimate scent right now but it’s still there. It is beautiful. It’s a floral but an unusual one. It has a really unusual smell and I don’t know what it is. Is it the ylang? There is a lovely powdery feel to it, possibly from the musk, but it’s not juvenile or baby powder. It’s just beautiful and I don’t know why all these Arab fragrance reviewers haven’t found and reviewed this yet. Also, it’s cost me like £12?! That’s insane!!!!!!!!! It might just be one of my fave new summer perfumes.

I agree with the reviewer below, Queen Esther, this is a dupe of Signature, but Yaa Umree is better and less synthetic and my bottle hasn’t even macerated yet. All the reviews below described this perfectly. Creamy orange vanilla. Not bad for $15 on Joma. Perfect clean girl fresh out of the shower musky citrus. Edit: My daughter mentioned that there is a slight grape to it and now I can’t unsmell it. She really likes it so I might give it to her as she doesn’t mind grape notes unlike me. Update 10/3: This has gotten so good. I’m keeping it now. There’s definitely orange blossom in this and I’m not getting grape anymore. Creamy, musky goodness.

I just purchased Her secret pink absolu by Antonio Banderas and while everyone claims it smells really close to Carolina Herrera’s Good girl blush, to me, it smells extremely close to Yaa Umree Zimaya which I also own because it was extremely cheap on Amazn. If I had known they smell so close to one another I wouldn’t have purchased Her secret pink, owning already Yaa Unree. Now I want to test Yaa Unree side by side with CH Good Girl Blush and see if they smell any alike.

Reminds me a bit of signature, a creamier cousin of Olympea. It's a subtle clean powdery fruity creamy smell but with strong projection. Very wearable clean soft girl every day scent. So much better quality and longevity than signature, if you want signature but with better performance just get this.

My nose might be broken or it's just different on my skin but I keep smelling condensed milk or something sweet creamy/lactonic mixed strawberry, white florals, vanilla, salt and ylang ylang. The more it dries down the more creamy vanilla it gets on my skin with perhaps a touch of sandalwood. It reminds me a little of qaed fursan unlimited but without the baby formula gone wrong in it and less stuffy, more clean and fresh. The salt in it somehow mixed with the floral, makes this smell pretty good, more original and lifts it up imho, to something more sophisticated. I got this for 13 euros(12 dollars) and if you can find it for a similar price and are into sweet floral creamy, a little girly and a touch aquatic, fragances; this could be for you and would def recommend! It's smells like having an ice cream or a sundae, while walking on the beach in a cooling seabreeze... I'm wearing this for about 3 hours now and can still smell it quite well. I don't know if it really fits me as a person, I'm 42, as sweet, girly and creamy is not my thing, but the salt twist in it is pretty cool, and the dry down is very cozy and comforting.

Salty vanilla, ylang ylang and musk- these three notes come together to create a creamy, slightly sweet, powdery vanilla fragrance. Long lasting on clothing (not on skin) with moderate projection and a good scent cloud for the first 1-2 hr mark. For the price point, a rather good fragrance I must say, and that's all I have to say.

Not a review, but replying to user megistical. While what you wrote may be true, the one you replied to meant something else but worded it awkwardly. Transliterated (not translated) and taken literally, "Yaa Umree" in Polish, as in Croatian (roughly Ja umro, ja umre (locally)), would mean "I just died", "I died". As a Croat, I see the appeal of buying a fragrance with such a name. :)

The first sniff reminded me a lot of Ajwad by lattafa, just like that sweet delicate fruity creamy salty scent and I could smell a hint of berry jam and flowers. Definitely a women’s perfume for those who love a lactonic sweet floral creamy scent with 10-12 h longlasting. But unfortunately not my cup of tea ☹️

Reminds me Olympia plus some creamy white flowers. Sweet creamy powdery a bit tropical but not too much. I think it will layer well with coconut or ylang ylang scent ( I don’t really feel ylang in here) Good quality fragrance. I like it but I don’t love it.

A decent scent. Nothing extraordinary. It is pretty though. To me it doesn’t smell like Olympea by PB at all! This one is way more floral and powdery. I will let it macerate for a while. I give this scent a 6/10 for now.
