Awesome unobtrusive daytime summer scent. An ex girlfriend of mine LOVED this cologne on me and I was frequently complemented on smelling "clean" when I wore this. This was her favorite in spite of everything else I owned. The smell is reminiscent of sunshine and fresh cut grass, backed up by ozone and a touch of petrichor. If you live in the midwestern USA, you know this smell as the first warm spring day after a few days of rain. This is great for spraying on your clothes before packing them up to travel. It's also great for times when you plan to be outside and sweating throughout your day, but it may not last the entire day unless you apply it heavily, which I encourage with this one. It generally lasts me about 6 hours with normal application, but feel free to over apply at will, this one won't offend anyone. It's quite light, although it projects very well. Update: My newest bottle seems to last a lot longer than other bottles of this I've had in the past, and I've even smelled traces of this on me over 9 or 10 hours later. One warning, this is not one that can sit on the shelf for years for you to grab only every so often. It will spoil more quickly than other colognes, and the 36 month disclaimer actually applies to this one. This cologne should be clear. If yours is yellow, green, or worse yet, brown, it has gone rancid. Be weary of eBayers who sell older cosmetic products, as you may end up with an outdated bottle with already yellowing liquid. For best results, buy cheap and fresh (e.g. from FragranceNet) and apply liberally. No sense in being frugal with this one, especially for the low price! I had to buy a new bottle after reviewing this. :) This is truly an underrated gem in my book, and it's by far the most realistic "fresh spring day" scent that I've ever experienced.

For the pittance of a price tag this has, it's an absolute steal in my opinion. Yes, it doesn't last too long and performs closer to an EDC, but this is a light fresh scent that doesn't smell like anything else in it's class. Watery, with a light scent of cut grass, but in a great way. I think it's tough to find this combo of scent and quality for the price it carries (like ~$10 for full presentation). Great gym bag scent if you don't want to smell like every other bro leaving the gym. This is in the price range of Playboy, Cuba, and Adidas frags, and none of them smell as good, unique, or as well blended as this. Doesn't even screech on the opening, which shocked me! I use this in the same situations as 4711; when I just want a nice refresh that will last an hour or two.

When that perfume invented, it was something different that changed the world of perfumes for at least 20 years. Nutmeg, ginger and oak moss. I remember that the first batch smelled like mildew, but in a surprising way, a good way- even though it is sounds impossible. Remarkable perfume that gave the base notes to hundreds of perfumes that got inspired from that incredible and humble invention.

I am a woman who Loves smelling this on men, it is very sexy, clean and def masculine not feminine at all a great daytime or work scent for men as it is not offensive but shows you care enough to be well groomed and scentfully pleasing to all those around you!

Put this on blind this morning, and really couldn't pick much out except for vaguely floral and maybe a bit of citrus. Nice, summery without being zesty. And obviously incredibly inexpensive. It didn't last more than a few hours. Upon re-application, I get lime (on the darker side of fresh), maybe some mandarin, and I can see the cut grass but not the other listed notes. Rain? Maybe. I am surprised that jasmine isn't listed because there is a nice, subtle floral note. I also pick up a bit of unscented sunscreen that I can't really place. I don't think this can be oversprayed, it isn't a generic blue and it is a different kind of easy reach for summer. This sits somewhere in the range of Karl Lagerfeld's Bois de Yuzu though not quite as good or long-lasting. But there is something very appealing about this that is hard to describe, despite its flaws. For something in the under-$15 range, this one is definitely one to try.

I don't want to like it because that would give credit where it is not due, but I love oakmoss! Ok, the scent is generic, very simple, but still nice. It's actually very complex to me in the way that its so simple, because as generic and simple I say it is, I still find myself contemplating a purchase. I think if I spray more on, the oakmoss, mandarine and ginger in particular would really come alive. Don't pass it up on the first try, because I think it really grows on you and can become something magical... ... 2 weeks on and I was right, it grows on you big time. Cheap or not, it knows what my senses want.

I got this cologne in a zirh gift set for christmas, its a very simple clean fragrance, that dosent stand out in a crowd, and a bit dull. When first sprayed on its very clean, light and refreshing, a little citrus, but dries down to ginger notes, and in less then 2 hours its almost no existent on me. What I did with this is, I leave it in my car, for when I need a quick spritz. Its a very easy fragrance to wear anyone any age can wear it and smell fresh and clean. Its a extremely safe scent, but then again a lot of people like that, in that you wont turn anyone off, but you wont turn any heads either!

Sharp, citrusy, gingery, peppery, artificial, unsubstantial, invigorating, refreshing, no sweet side here. This starts very bright and brisk, but rather quickly turns into flat fresh scent. Good projection and silage but poor longevity (3-4h). Nothing really interesting. (This is actually the only fragrance from my collection that went bad after a few years and now it looks yellow and has very weak, chemical feeling) Overall 5/10

I find this fragrance refreshing and agreeable. It is not overly complex; the lime, nutmeg, and ginger blend well together, resulting in a light, spicy smell. While it may not be outstanding, it is certainly more appealing than many other fresh fragrances. It may be linear and simple in structure, but the result is quite good.

i bought this cologne because it was on sale and i thought i would give it a try. it smells alot like pine and citrus. it dosnt last long and you cant smell it verry strong at all. overall the colgne is just O.K. i wount buy it unless it is on sale. 2.5 out of 5

A fresh clean scent that is super safe. It seems the ginger dominates over the citrusy/lime notes. This would be a safe bet for anyone trying to find a work fragrance.

Subtle compliment getter! Women around you will tell you that you smell good! This is a simple sporty fragrance! Zirh doesn't disappoint me!

I just got a great deal on a bottle of this as a blind buy and right off the bat I notice some differences in name and packaging from the bottle pictured here. First off mine is called "Zirh Classic" and secondly the bottle is slightly more attractive in that it has an all chrome sprayer rather than the cheap grey plastic one in the picture not to mention it does not have the added plastic base around the bottom of the bottle (a la many of the Victorinox frags). I haven't sprayed this on myself as I already am wearing something else but I did spray it on a test strip and I have to say I REALLY like the smell! Even after leaving it on the test strip for over an hour to go through a simulated dry down it stills smell strong and pleasant. Hopefully when I actually apply it later today or tomorrow I will enjoy it just as much. Does anyone out there know if this might be a reissue of the original? I have read many reviews complaining of poor longevity and sillage and I am hoping maybe Zirh addressed those complaints in a reissue. What do you think? UPDATE: After wearing this finally, I have to agree with the review directly preceding mine that this smells OK going on but COMPLETELY disappears within and hour or two. I brought it back to Marshalls and got something else!

I just got this today...amazing offer via Amazon UK. Must say I'm largely disappointed!The words "generic and cheap" keep coming back to me. Citrusy and spicy. I'll call it cK One meets Dior's Fahrenheit..? Not very impressed especially compared to my other two frags which I use currently i.e- Davidoff Cool Water Ice Fresh and Wings for Men by Giorgio Beverly Hills. There is no way I'll buy this again and am already dreading how I'll finish the 125ml bottle!! Smells best about 2-3hrs after spraying on.

This is the non-fragrance of fragrances. It's not offensive. It's just not anything. It goes on fresh, but smells common, unremarkable, and not at all distinctive. Within one hour it is no longer detectable. Save your money and use water with a slice of lime if you desire this effect.

Hey people....update on the previous. I'm actually beginning to like this fragrance. Definitely growing on me. Wore it to work last week and good response from the colleagues. Quite long lasting. I still stand by that this fragrance smells like cK One meets Dior's Fahrenheit...

Poor performance on me, lasts only around 3-4 hours and the projection is also weak. However, it was purchased cheaply in a sale and the scent gives off a generic fresh and inoffensive smell. Overall 2.5/5

Very boring run of the mill fresh scent. There are much better scents with a longer scent life. Nothing in here that I have smelled before in so many frags.

Ok...I now officially HATE this scent. Its too generic. I have resorted to using this as my toilet air freshner now!! Talk about a fall from grace!!

Opens with a strong “fresh cut ginger” tone, with a layer on top for a short time of greenish lime. Underneath in the background is an earthiness that will come thru later. The fragrance continues to develop and soon we get the warmly spicy-woody notes of nutmeg shining thru. Combined with the maturing ginger, which is now losing its spicy edginess, the heart comes thru, as a grounded, earthy fragrance, with a petrichor - ozone quality of fresh rain on a summer day, described well by previous reviewer TonyAKAMrClean. There is a somewhat fleeting floral tone that pops in occasionally, but it does not last long. Thru the dry down the fragrance has a relaxing and easy, yet energetic quality. The fragrance stays in ozone and petrichor for most of the dry down, if only lessening in intensity and spiciness. Thus it softens, almost the same way that on the first day of rain after a long dry period there is an intensity to the smell, but it is less intense in subsequent days as the oils from vegetation are no longer prominent in the soil. Same thing here in the drydown - the intensity is not the same, and one shouldn’t expect it to be, as time brings out a more earthy base, as oakmoss comes out to support the nutmeg and ginger, and the three of them dance in and out of the lead thru the drydown. Above average silage and for me, way above average longevity.

This is a very safe clean smelling scent. It is fresh with a watery/citrusy blast on first application. I detect a green leafy smell with the lime, mandarin orange and ginger. This fragrance is perfect for the gym or while playing sports. It is non offending and stays quite close to the skin. Longevity is average but as with most fragrances like this you do not expect it to last all day into evening. I will keep this in my gym bag and spray before and after the gym. You do have to spray it generously as is a very light smelling fragrance. The price is great too if you look in the right places.

This fragrance is comforting. It's very clean, it feels as if you just stepped out of the shower and you are surounded by an aura of clean soap! But you also get a green note (which it may be oakmoss, although to me it smells more like a light cypress). I don't smell much of ginger. I find Zirh good, intimate and casual, extremely clean. Now, if you want a fragrance that people can smell even three blocks from where you are standing, then probably this is not the fragrance.

I bought this today thinking that for $5.99 I could not go wrong. I was wrong. This is so barely anything that it's like a joke. I tried to use it as a car freshener. Gave it about a dozen sprays (through a terrible spitting sprayer) and a minute later - nothing. No smell. The person who said "water and lime" was right. I'm going to try to get my 6 bucks back. Will I ever learn?

I think we're all in agreement this juice is about as clean and safe as it gets. For the price though, it's pretty solid. This is a great start for someone new to the fragrance world or can be given as a gift to your father-in-law, young nephew, etc. I did pick up a subtle tea note on the dry-down, which is not for me but many people will find it pleasing.

Plain&simple, clean&fresh, moderate longevity and sillage. Not a heart-breaker, good for a sports person during workout, it's soft, it's nice, it's cheap. Worth a try.

Clean and fresh!!!! So long lasting. Almost energizing. It is a must have for anyone who loves fresh frags....I LOVE IT!

Zesty citrus blast but I always felt a tinge of sweaty BO mixed in.

Can only smell alcohol. What an absolute mess of a perfume.
