Blissful Mistful

OK I love this. But it NEEDS to be an EDP as it is really pretty but almost too light. I've got to spray this like crazy to get the full effect of it. I was going to return it to Ulta as it is light and fleeting but for some reason this captured a fascination in my brain. I just can't return it. I fell in love. It has a Spring feel to it. Citrusy musky effervescent airiness.

So I have this weird habit of picking things up randomly and smelling them, and this was the result of one of the times this habit didn't end badly. For some reason, whilst meandering (being dragged by my sister) around Target, I picked up the heart-shaped tin of solid perfume of this and was immediately (possibly out of boredom) impressed by how light and airy the scent was. It's a very clean violet and musk mix, and as violet usually does, it makes me think of youth. This also teeters on the line between "green" and "white" for me. I think the musk hides any traces of vanilla and jasmine, because I don't detect them. As compared to "Daisy".... well, when I worked in hotel housekeeping a few years back, my coworker and I cleaned a room where someone had left out their bottle of "Daisy" - the one with all the flowery foofy shit on top...and of course, being the raccoons that we are, we opened it and tried it out (yes, housekeeping WILL sniff your things...*the more ya know*). Anyway, I don't think this is as complex as "Daisy," but I think it's a nice "young lady" starter to it. I would probably buy a bottle of the liquid if the price was right (aka, cheap). I definitely would have liked this as a gift when I was a tween, and I'll have to add this line to my list of "Things to Hunt Down and Sniff."

Super cute and fun packaging as well as products! The mist is very close to the MJ Daisy range. But keep in mind that it's a body mist so lasting power and sillage are kinda on the lower end.

It really is a dupe of the MJ daisy line. Especially the original. When i spritz it at first I smell the citrus and the juiciness of the strawberry. In the middle notes I smell powdery light floral. In the base, a warm musk with vanilla. Definitely a safe buy. I think it will be a good gift for a girl especially aged between like 8-25. The longevity is not as bad as most body mists. For me: about an hour and a half/ two.

Got this in a mini spray set. It's not my favorite in the set. It's a strawberry musk for about 1 hour and then it becomes so light for the last 1-2 hours. I find myself spraying almost every three hours. 15 ml bottle is almost half gone after a few wears. It was low priced enough that I don't mind but I wouldn't get it again.
