Rabbit

Hi there! Just laid my hands on some Zoologist perfumes and decided to make a review on them. Those will not be like 'ah yes the tonka beans kicks in'. Those will be just vibe check. Gen Z kind of review. The first one I tested was the rabbit. At first there were the baby biscuits + the smell of iodine. Some kind of throat spray. After three hours they are still on me. They smell like body cream, purity, innocence, gourmet biscuits. A very creamy aroma, like whipped cream, but also reminiscent of carrot cookies. In terms of vibes, this is a cottagecore for me. The way the rabbit is depicted on the jar is 100% similar to what kind of vibe it has. It is a very mystical vibe for me, that is, much more complex than a soft drink that can be like some kind of vanilla or the aroma of tea. That is, cottagecore, some kind of tea - it is all obvious and incomprehensible. And here it is very complex and unusual. You can attribute a bit of mysticism to this, you don't know what it is specifically, but you turn around because it catches you, as if the girl who wears this fragrance is hiding something, looking very innocent and naive. For me, it's porcelain dolls, porcelain dishes, little dollhouses with little fluffy rabbits like that. But. Everything is so cute and ruched, so cool and sweet, but this slightly salty carrotiness comes through. Like when you come to the forest, and there's a house on the edge, you come there, it smells like home, something sweet, pastries, they give you warm milk mixed with carrot cookies. You lose consciousness and then they feed you to the monster that protects this girl's house. An Alice in Wonderland vibe. When you see a beautiful house with geese and rabbits - heaven on earth, but the fertilizer for the flowers are other unfortunate people who are seduced by the fact that everything is so simple here. I see it on a girl with wavy hair in pastel colors with ruffles, but without pomp, something so old, vintage but precisely in the manner of a lonely forest house. With lace curtains, shutters, porcelain decor and small flowers in the same muted shades that seem to have faded over time. A girl with a thumb, a girl who does not like to conflict, who likes to go to vintage stores and sees beauty in a statuette with geese, painted porcelain cups. The vibe of France even, but not this pompous one, namely the small village of Rochefort-En-Terre in France. A girl who wants silence and not the city bustle, to have her own small bakery and rabbits. If this one was a genre it would be a horror movie for me because it is much more complex that ppl offer to cottagecore aesthetics. Maybe will even lay my hands to the travel size. Not really my vibe but it really felt special to me. Also my wife said that i smell like a farm with rabbits but i cannot tell because i have never been on a farm with rabbits.

Zoologist was extremely kind and let me sample Rabbit in advance of its release, along with another scent that probably won’t be released until closer to the end of 2024. I’m likely sworn to secrecy on details about the latter scent (all I’ll say is that it has, err, bite, and that it absolutely blew me away and will satisfy long-time Zoologist fans who have griped that the company has recently become too “mainstream” – that latter scent is up there in terms of creativity with the likes of Squid). But I’m thrilled to announce that both fragrances are masterpieces and a triumph. Creator Victor Wong is at the top of his game here, and he’s firing on all cylinders. Rabbit is unlike anything that Zoologist has previously attempted. This bunny is a gourmand so it shares some similarities with Harvest Mouse, and people who enjoy that scent will likely have a field day with this one. But here’s the thing: it’s also far more nuanced than Harvest Mouse. Rabbit expertly whips up and blends the fragrances of a bucolic green garden with a gourmand carrot cake to create a deliciously and deliriously frothy vegetal scent that somehow manages to not be tooth-achingly sweet. You can detect and miraculously pick out the individual notes of green vegetable leaves, hay, carrot, white almond and vanilla...and even the biscuit accord. Incredible! It’s odd that cream cheese frosting isn’t a listed note, because I can damn well nearly taste it when smelling this. That said, this isn’t cloying at all to me. Unlike other reviewers, I found that the hay and the green leaves really shine through to perfectly balance this out and make it something far more intriguing than your standard gourmand. The dry-down is a heavenly skin scent that smells akin to strolling through a dew-covered meadow, while the scent of a Parisian bakery gently wafts in from the background. Rabbit is unisex, leaning toward feminine, and it’s fair game for year-round wear. I suspect Rabbit is destined to ultimately rank as one of Zoologist’s most popular scents and a certified crowd-pleaser. I don’t know when Rabbit will be available (lettuce have it already!) but I, myself, will be hopping down the bunny trail to purchase a full bottle as soon as it’s released. In five words or less: This bunny’s ear-resistible.

Original mix of fougère and gourmand. Yes, first thing I got form this fragrance is its originality, it is a mix of two styles apparently incompatibles, fougère and gourmand, we have citrus in the opening plus green hay accord with some musks and earthy patchouli but also a fruity carrot cake spiced with cinnamon and vanilla sweetness in the base and... it works! It is so good and "new", it doesn't smell like anything I smelt before and it fits so well with the image of this cozy rabbit running in the hay fields with some flowers blooming here and there and then going back on its subterrain lair to cook the most delicious spiced carrot cake. Such a brilliant work from Fanny Bal, kudos. Trying to identify the materials I can pinpoint the bergamot, some cumarin for the hay-almond note, carrot seeds (ths is interesting because they are usually used for the iris accord, while here without any syntetic or iris absolute they take the center of the "cake-biscuit" accord and at the same time they contribute to build the violet accord togheter with probably some hedione and some galaxolide) and off course I can smell a "mild" patchouli that gives both the green feeling and the earthy facets. Overall this is a very cozy fragrance with great originality, you can take it as a sweet fougère or as a green gourmand if you want but in any case it remains very enjoyable, relaxing, beautifull. It's longevity is quite good, you get a lot going on for many hours until it lays down in a cozy vanilla-"furry" musk (I still dont' know how those musks from zoologist are always able to accord perfectly with the mood of the animal represented, plumy for the snowy own, furry here for the rabbit ecc... I'm pretty sure that they are built around galaxolide but still cannot figure how to complete the accord to give these wierd and original facets). Its projection is average, nothng bestial but well present around you, and it is so nice you can wear it whenever and wherever you want without offending anyone. Pricepoint is the usual zoologist and this time it is well deserved imo. It is not a fragrance I will use massively but from a perfumery point of view it is so good and original that I needed at least a 10ml. Worth at least sampling for everyone.

Okay this one is veryyy cute. I definitely think it’s sweeter and less subtle than Harvest Mouse, more of a gourmand for sure, but they do feel like they live in a similar little storybook field gourmand family. Right away, I get bergamot and greenery. The opening is very green to me, but not in a harsh way. It smells like fresh stems, grass, hay, that kind of thing. But even through the green top, I can already smell the sweeter parts underneath. There’s this biscuity vanilla accord, a little almond, a little carrot, and it gives the scent this soft sweetness that I really enjoy. As it develops, it gets richer and more gourmand. I wouldn’t say it's a straight up bakery, but it definitely starts giving me carrot cake vibes. Like carrot cake with cream cheese icing, but still sitting in a green meadow. It’s not just sugary cake. There’s still hay, patchouli, and greenery grounding it, so it doesn’t become too literal or heavy. I get the patchouli in the background, but it doesn’t smell dirty or overly earthy. It kind of rounds out the green notes and makes everything feel more grounded. I also think I can smell some amber as it dries down, giving it warmth and richness. The sweetness becomes more and more noticeable over time. I don’t really smell obvious florals, which is a plus for me, they’re just somewhere in the background structure I personally cant detect. This is more green, sweet, biscuity, carrot-y, hay-like, and warm than floral. Extremely wearable, very warm and cozy.

Got a sample of this one with my last order and it really surprised me. I figured it would be a very green, hay-like forest vibe but once again, Victor throws us off! This is absolutely a gourmand. At first whiff I got a lemony cupcake, and then later carrot cake with lemon zest. The biscuit note is very prominent giving Rabbit a cakey kind of vibe. You can even pick up a powdery effect which I find reproduces the "crumbliness" of a biscuit or sponge cake. It does have quite a bit of greenness however, so those not into hay or grassy notes might be in for a bit of a spin here. Personally, I did get the green effect later on, and I found Rabbit to morph quite a bit on me. Typical of Zoologist's perfumes, this is quite a complex one which at first whiff seemed rather simple. On me, I get a good 5-6 hours, I could stretch to 7-8 but by then it's a skin scent. Good longevity. It's very sweet to my nose however, so while it's very wearable and pleasant, do be careful if you wear this to work, it's seems to push out quite a bit the first hour or two. I'd say spray sparingly if inside. This is very Spring-like but the sweetness would make it work in early Fall and even Winter thanks to the cake vibe and spiciness giving it a comforting, warming feel. Another winner and a surprisingly complex perfume. Kudos to Fanny Bal, the perfumer.

The only aspect of this fragrance that I find even remotely disagreeable is the rabbit's dress. Every other part is a masterpiece! This has almost all of my favorite elements in one fragrance. Green? Check. Vanilla? Check. Sweet? Check. Spicy? Double check! Hay? Absolutely another check! Almond? Can't forget that. Gourmand notes? Of course! Violets? Sure do! Rare but beautiful clover note? You bet your sweet *** it does! Musk, bergamot, and patchouli can be troublesome for me sometimes, but these are beautifully blended here, thankfully. And, because we have this association in our culture between rabbits and carrots— though, in my experience, they prefer apples and tender green shoots, which this fragrance includes— it also has the unusual carrot note. Along with the cinnamon and biscuit, this does make it akin to certain baked goods, such as carrot cake or zucchini bread, but the other notes make it feel more like a cottage in a green meadow. It's warm and a bit sunny, even though bunnies are crepuscular by nature, so I imagine it is, again, more about our cheerful whimsical psychological associations with cute bunnies than a more realistic interpretation. Yet, I'll accept this fantastical little spin on rabbits because it smells phenomenal! Not all rabbits are cuddle bunnies, but now we can spray this and dream... 10/10.

Rabbit is tender, hushed. A scent of quiet, of soft things, of the dappled light that filters through untouched forest glade. It begins most green, delicately bitter, vegetal snapped stems and raw roots pulled crisp from the mother nature. Daucus carota, the earthbound carrot, not the typical supermarket kind with its round, boiled notes—this is its wilder cousin, pale and whisper-thin, whispering of minerals and meadow grass. Minutes later, rises the powdery hush of orris, soft as the underside of a rabbit’s ear, blankets the roots in a creamy, downy warmth. Not the heavy, doughy sweetness of carrot cake as some mentioned getting—no nutmeg, no frosting—just the ethereal sweetness of something light, delicate, untouched by spice, and ever so lightly glazed with the freshest of honeys. A cloud of pale vanilla, a breath of milk-soaked sponge, a cream-soft lullaby of sweetness. But don't doubt: beneath it all, the forest still most definitely lingers—now shy, still green as before, almost Disney-esque, peeking through the sweetness like a pastel-toned moss curling around the edges of a bright sunlit clearing. Quiet, soft, still, this scent plucks directly the fleeting, most comforting of warmths nestled in the cradle of the earth.

This opens with a playful blend of sweet apples, creamy cinnamon, and hints of green accords. It’s very sweet which was surprising considering the amount of earthy/green accords but it feels fitting for a rabbit. As the scent develops you get that carrot note and it’s again, a playful addition. It’s earthy but not in a dirty way, if anything it’s more so in a dainty, tea party in the grass fields type of earthy. I will also say this is very powdery in the heart, and it has a haziness to it which makes sense with the blend of florals. They mimic a sort of soft fuzziness especially with the musk in the base, it feels like a bunnies fur, softly baked in the sun, dusty stalks of grass billowing in the wind. The dry down amps the sweetness here with a creamy and almond heavy biscuit accord that is leveled out by a dry hay and slightly powdery patchouli in the background. This is a gorgeous green gourmand. This is a prim and proper bunny rabbit with bows in her hair and light grey fur. She bakes in a cottage in a sun lit forest, powdery baking ingredients scattered in her kitchen, sweetly soft florals in vases around her home, and musky air blowing through her open windows.

Wow! Vanilla cookies sprinkled with cinnamon, a juicy apple and warm tea. Maybe cinnamon macaroons with a cup of tea? This is a luxurious brunch, or English tea, with small cakes and pretty porcelain plates. Everything in this is so well blended that it is hard to describe any further. All I can say is that this is yummy and I need it. I almost forget that I unfortunately don’t get any carrot from this. I do have to say that in some ways it reminds me a bit of ‘Fig Porn’ by BORNTOSTANDOUT. (Which I adore) I compare the notes and I don’t know why my nose does that, but I would believe it is the clean bergamot, and light musky vanilla drydown. 6 hours later, Rabbit is still here on my skin, but very faint, and light, just like an aftertaste of that delicious brunch you had earlier. 8 hours later it is as good as gone, and I am still thinking about how this reminds me of ‘Fig Porn’, and how much I want this fragrance in my collection as well. All in all I will say this this is one of the better Zoologist in my opinion, and even though I would not reccomend it as a blind buy, it is very much sample worthy if you’re into more ‘grown up’ and not too sweet gourmands.

I was so excited to try this. After reading a lot of online discussion, I thought I had a decent idea of what Rabbit would smell like and figured I would like it. To my surprise, Rabbit smells even better than what I imagined. From the first spray I was hooked. I get fresh fields, apple pie, and cinnamon. It also reminds me of autumn and vanilla candles. It’s decadent and pretty. I also really like the balance between nature and food. The hay / grass / violet notes keep it from being a pure gourmand smell and give it more of an outdoorsy feel. It’s a little fresh, a little spicy, a little sweet, and a lotta cozy. If I had to describe this perfume in one word I’d use magical. I love the cinnamon, vanilla, and hay in the dry down and I probably look like a crazy person with how much I sniff myself wearing this perfume. Fair warning: Rabbit is crazy strong. The first time I tried it I used three sprays thinking it would be airy and light. For the next few hours i was in a delicious but also overpowering cloud of Rabbit. It was almost too much. A lighter hand is recommended. Anyways I’m probably gonna order a full bottle of this, I love it so much.

Reading the comments, I am really surprised: some people don't really understand what niche perfume is and what it is intended for. This fragrance is a masterpiece: it is not supposed to be a gourmand; it is supposed to represent a bunny in olfactory form while still being wearable. It is an art and a masterpiece. If you want something safe, then go for a typical designer fragrance. "Wow, it smells like biscuits with caramelised milk!" I thought at the first spray. Gradually, green notes, hay notes, and a bit of animal musk emerge. It's like you're really smelling a rabbit's delicate fur. I had a rabbit and immediately recognized that warm smell. It's a very sweet, fluffy aroma. Those who haven't smelled pet rabbit fur might not notice this animal note in the fragrance. It would suit someone with an Elle Fanning-like appearance: petite, cute, and delicate, in a light dress. Kudos to the creators for realistically capturing the scent of a rabbit and making it "wearable.

This is absolutely one of my dream signature fragrances right up there with Tom Ford Vanilla Sex, Valentino Born in Roma Ivory, and Floraiku Sand and Skin. I’m a huge lover of jasmine, carrot, vanilla, almond, musk, and light patchouli, and Rabbit ties all of those notes together in such a soft, enchanting way. It’s like eating a cookie that isn’t too sugary. It's comforting, warm, and balanced yet with a rounded complexity that keeps unfolding as you wear it. Nothing about this scent is sharp or piercing. Instead, it’s full-bodied, layered, and smooth. I normally don’t gravitate toward green notes, but here the green leaves add a subtle depth that grounds the sweetness beautifully. The violet comes through softly, adding a gentle floral veil, though it doesn’t always take center stage. Overall, it’s a 10/10 for me and the kind of fragrance that makes you crave your wrist. I truly can’t stop smelling it. It feels like serenity and sensuality captured in a bottle.

WOW. The hay note is very prominent in this. I definitely get the sweetness from the vanilla and biscuit. Many describe it to be like a carrot cake but I don’t exactly get that, I get sweet hay. It dosen’t smell like anything I’ve smelled before. It’s definitely a little too heavy for summer and would be best suited for spring and autumn. Definitely very sweet and feminine leaning, but would be very hard to wear. In the heat I feel like the hay might be a little repulsive to some people, and almost come off as B.O. I do like this as a fragrance though, and successfully recreates the habitat of the “Rabbit” and is such a cool concept, which I love about all Zoologist fragrances. I just wouldn’t be able to wear this myself as I fear it’s not as mass appealing and might confuse a lot of people who smell it. I also want to say this is not at all a safe blind buy, as all Zoologist perfumes are. There’s always something unpredictable and animalic about them.

Rabbit is an absolute miracle. I love this more than I can say. It encapsulates in scent the feeling of absolute joy and self-care that I get when I eat my morning oatmeal. Milky yeasty nutty doughy starchy ricey puddingy carroty cinnamonny cakey warm vegetal honeyed sweetness. There’s definitely a “barnyard” aspect to Rabbit but not in a bad sense, more like the animalic dopamine hit I get when I deeply breathe in my pet’s fur. This is an eyes-roll-to-the-back-of-my-head scent for me. Wouldn’t really choose to wear it to “present in society”, this is to spray on comfortable clothes when I’m home (or also homesick) and want to feel cozy and delve into my inner world. An amazing accompaniment to my oatmeal brekkie of course 🥰 P.S. Do NOT overspray. It will go pukey and nauseating just like when you eat too much cake and feel unwell and hate yourself for being so greedy. Enjoy with caution :) Rabbit rabbit xoxo

I am surprisingly pleased with this! I am trying out various "rabbit" or "bunny" themed perfumes, so of course this was a great place to start. This is also my first Zoologist perfume. I have D.grayi's Lazy lop, Honey bunny, and White rabbit on the way to put this to the test. For context, I have a pet bunny who I love dearly, so i am very familiar with the smell of rabbits. Their powdery-clean fur scent is very comforting for me. This perfume is SPOT ON! Upon first spray I immediately smell the hay notes, followed closely by the sweet & spicy cinnamon. The carrot note is also noticeable, yet it blends extremely well. For me, I don't necessarily get "carrot cake" or "gourmand" sweet, it definitely leans more into the green notes in my opinion. Overall I am very happy with this little sample!

I reviewed this awhile back and at the time I couldn’t bring myself to really like this fragrance. I appreciated it at a more artistic approach, but not in a way that I would actually wear it. After a few months of forgetting about it I tried it again and it’s honestly just so hard to put into words. It’s so warm and comforting, the hay note is strong but it’s not gross. It gives it an animalic quality that dosent feel wild or unruly, but cozy and soft, that makes you feel like a cute little bunny. Very very sweet, the biscuit note is strong but delicious. Just such an adorable fragrance overall. I would totally wear this in public but most likely to outdoor activities, as I can see this not being a very attractive fragrance and the hay note being off putting to others.

She's in the middle of a warm field of clover, shoveling carrot cake with marshmallow frosting into her mouth and it's getting all over her face. She's so carefree and unapologetic. She's a demon when it's over 90° but that’s alright. The floral and green notes are less grassy/clean and more like the edible flowers you would decorate a fancy homemade pastry with. My partner loves it on me. It's long-lasting with a drydown that gets better and better, like the cake eating frenzy slows and now you're sprawled out in the meadow, drinking tea and taking a nap. Maybe this is what Marie Antoinette was after when she ordered the construction of the Hameau de la Reine? Decadent and down-to-earth, youthful and feminine in a way that's kind of bizarre! I'm a huge fan.

Fanny bal A name I won’t pass by lightly next time around It’s a new name on my radar and looking at here resume although here milestones are few but ever since creating this marvelous project I’m intrigued A spectacular gourmand that wrestles the greats of the industry few are the creations that came close to perfection when when biscuits are involved Lately I’ve seen some influencers belittling the perfection of gourmand scents saying (it’s only a gourmand how hard could it be) I’d like to see you try creating a dessert from chemistry wise*** The scent is perfect the performance is very good it’s a little airy but I wasn’t annoyed by it If I was the one who created it I would be proud of myself

I don't get the negative reviews on this one because I find it to be the most adorable gourmand for spring 😍 It has some dry sweetness, like biscuits, citrus on top with lots of greenery and hay. I don't get apple much, perhaps very tart apple in the opening. I love how non-linear The Rabbit is - after a few hours I can only smell hay and patchouli, but in an hour or so, a sweet gormand side of it comes out again. This boosts my mood so much. Layering this with a bit of Lira is an interesting combo, enhancing the citrus and musk notes. If you want a gourmand, but not the sickly sweet one, definitely try it out.

Hands down my favorite Zoologist. I am absolutely smitten. You know the scent is unique, one of a kind when "this perfume reminds me of" section on fragrantica has 30 different perfumes with 1-3 votes each. I personally have never tested anything even remotely similar. Yes, carrot cake, yes, fresh hay, yes, apples and violets. The carrot cake accord is just phenomenally realistic, the biscuit, the icing. I think I smell walnuts too? Maybe I just wish I did. Wonderful fragrance, soft, calm, fluffy and innocent. This is one Zoologist that I just have to have a full bottle of.

I got to sample this a year ago with Victor at Zoologist in Toronto and I have been waiting for it to be released so I can buy a full bottle. I tried Penguin, 3 other 2024/25 releases and Rabbit was the best by far. It is fantastic. Carrot, vanilla and a bit vegetal. Reminds me of carrot cake but not cloying in any way. More mainstream than many other Zoologist fragrances and should be appealing to most. Cooler weather fragrance but I would wear it any time except for hot summer days. 100% unisex for sure and I will be buying a full bottle ASAP.

This scent really brought me back to my childhood when my grandmother used to make earl grey tea with milk (not sure why because the notes have nothing to do with tea), my friend also pointed out this smells like bubble milk mochi. This is incredibly comforting and warm. An amazing perfume for gourmand lovers. On my skin this performed relatively linear, there wasn't much development. The drydown was creamy and you could really feel the biscuit with a hint of hay. Not sure if I got any carrot from this, opening might have had a bit of apple.

this perfume made me smile the second I put it on imagine you baked a a carrot cake, and you take a slice and you bring it out to a field of freshly bloomed flowers in the middle of springtime. maybe that cake gets left out there and clover flowers bloom through it after a few days. very gourmand, very sweet and pretty, but also very fresh and clean and a little green. I adore this scent so much and I cannot stop bringing my wrist up to my nose, this will be my signature scent during springtime :D

the moment i sprayed this on my skin I wanted to take a big bite of the imaginary fluffy marshmallow i had just put on my skin. there are green notes, but it wasn't overwhelming and i felt it more as wildflowers and green apple kinda crispiness that balance out the vanilla-biscuit-carrot cake warmth. i find this perfume gourmet, and the dry down is very vanilla-y without being sweet. It is such sweet and lovable scent I almost wonder if I'll be able to match my exterior to the scent itself.

oh how delicious and adorable this fragrance is... it really smells like the most cottagecore bakery hidden within a big walnut tree trunk (kinda like where winnie the pooh lives?). inside you'll find the plumpest lil rabbits and mice baking swedish almond cakes and iced lemon cookies, and brewing some chai as an accompaniment. you take your treats outside, still warm from the oven, and enjoy them in the tall prairie grass. life is okay for just a sweet moment 🧡

This reminds me of hanging out with a close friend who learned how to make warm zucchini/carrot cake from the pulp of her juicer. Unlike some comments I smell the cozy spices. When I imagined what "Harvest Mouse" from zoologist would smell like, "Rabbit" was it. Rabbit has a warm vegetable cake smell in a cozy kitchen on a crisp fall day. Harvest Mouse smells like a little lady mouse's home while she's pouring a cup of vanilla honey tea.

This is closer to what I expected harvest mouse ti be, almost a little cloying but the hay and green notes help balance it out. It really smells like a fresh carrot cake, except you’re outside in the springtime. There’s something mischievous about this scent, like you’re sneaking the slice of cake in the vegetable garden while you’re slacking on your chores. One of the smells ever. It makes me feel like a princess. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

It’s an interesting one. When I first smelled it from my sample, I didn’t get any of the notes listed, except for the hay. It smelled very earthy, exactly like wet hay. I didn’t like it and put it away for a while. When I sprayed it again a few weeks later, I got the deep almond–biscuit–carrot cake scent that other people describe, and it was beautiful. It’s a very unique fragrance, and it lasts a long time on my clothes.

A sweet, slightly spicy carrot cake, with a hint of musk in the dry down. I really like it, but it doesn’t really remind me of rabbits or have enough green to make it stand out as more than a gourmand. Amorphous had a 2024 summer release called Mrs Rabbit that truly smelled like sweet meadows, vegetable gardens and sun-warmed fur (but without being animalic, and I say that as someone whose skin amps animalic scents).

The most complex, angelic scent of all time. I am absolutely in shock. It feels like I’m actually smelling a bunny’s tummy or head, but in the best way possible. It’s sweet and rich due to the cinnamon, but also extremely fresh and green, due to the apple, carrot, green leaves and hay. The dry down is so biscuity and soft. It’s a story in a bottle. Genuinely makes me so happy and tearful at the same time.

The most unique gourmand ever created. A green, vegetal earthiness is distinct when accompanied by the buttery, sweet, delicious biscuit accord. Despite this, the 2 sides of the fragrance never clash and together, create a scent similar to a Carrot Cake. A little different but the smell of a carrot dessert is very present. It is one of my favorite perfumes. At first I was a bit shocked and thrown off by the first few minutes - don’t judge it by the opening! To me it was like someone’s sweaty socks, yeah repulsive, but after those few minutes I get something wonderful, earthy vanilla mixed with something that I can’t describe, other than sparkles, twinkling stars, cozy autumn and witchy spices. Love

You know those people who love to rant about how much they don't want their desserts to be too sweet? They're annoying, but then damn it, you try one of their muffins and it tastes great. This perfume is like baking one of those muffins next to a field of wildflowers. Maybe I'll be idyllic and run through the field without worry there are any snakes, just bouncing bunnies.

Far and away my favorite Zoologist fragrance. An honest-to-goodness gourmand, but with a soft bed of greenery and hay to temper it. I don’t get carrot cake in quite the way others do. To me, this one recalls eating shortbread cookies and tea while sprawled out on a picnic blanket. It’s a little chilly out, and there’s a green scent enveloping you. Just lovely.

Ok, I got a bunch of samples from zoologist and this was my favorite. This is carrot cake dunked in cinnamon-heavy horchata which you are eating on a hay pile in the countryside while wearing your partner's sweater... it is deliciously edible without being necessarily sweet, and dries down to a warm nutty vanilla. Highly recommend it

The opening was straight up carrot cake. The cinnamon mixed with the carrot/apple, along with the vanilla/biscuit base, comes together beautifully. Amazing. Eventually it turns buttery as the biscuit note shines through. There is also a slight greenness and earthiness from the hay. A super unique gourmand, perfect for Spring/Fall.

sweet but not too sweet, edible but not gourmand.... if you want to smell like a sweet and perhaps slightly expired treat, this is the scent for you. i've been trying to get my hands on this one for forever now. i absolutely love the hay-biscuit scent. it's giving woman who wears pierrot collars and lots of ruffles

Too dense if sprayed near the face, perfectly trailing on the wrist. A carrot cake square, no icing, resting on your knee while you look out over a hillside on a beautiful spring day. Kids with kites and blossoms and little animals running all over. Life happening in the greenest spot in the city.

Definetly the best gourmet fragrance. Green , almondy sweet . Most likely for winter, but can wear it in fall too. On my skin it has a strong 25 hours longevity, with a really strong projection. Most likely for women , for me its really feminine In total: 9.2/10 price could be a bit better on it

sniffing my test strip obsessively as i type this... it's so cute. it reminds me a lot of fruity granola or some kind of cereal... something like strawberry frosted mini wheats lol. very warm and fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness!! such a lovely scent i can't stop smelling it ugh

Puts a smile on your face. Smells more or less the same throughout the longevity - like petit beurre biscuits and hay. Never smelled anything similar to this. I just wished I could associate this to carrot cake like some people here, but I cannot smell the carrot at all to be honest.

Opens with a sweet, powdery green note, hay and carrot seed. Dries down to vanilla carrot cake; other comments describe it as carrot cake batter or a cake in progress and I would agree. Lovely, sweet, long-lasting! I almost want to leave a negative review so I have more for myself 😋

despite the fact that most people perceive it as smelling like cookies or cake, it’s not as simple as it seems the hay in the base makes me feel like a little bunny finishing its meal of carrots and apples cute, sweet, and cozy, that’s what i think of it i want a full-sized bottle!!

this is so cute! rabbit is one of the most popular zoologist scents and it lives up to the hype. it smells so cozy and warm. I love how it's a gourmand without being too vanilla or too bakery. I think it's a perfect balance of soft and sweet. I do wish it projected better, though

First impression: I honestly thought I was going to really hate this one, but I actually don’t. It does smell like photorealistic carrot cake, which I like. I was afraid that this was going to be too sweet and too earth, but they somehow compliment eachother.

It's a pleasant experience that doesn't overstay its welcome. Spicy, green, yet very sweet all at the same time. Vanilla and patchouli are the strongest notes for my nose. Bought a sample size and I will be buying a bigger bottle.

This opens with a sweet, carrot-y aroma, mixed with hay, which after 2-3 hrs settles down into a really pleasant sweet (but not cloying) vanilla. It doesn’t project much but lasts all day on me as a more intimate fragrance.

Definitely smells like dessert (carrot cake with lemon-vanilla cream cheese frosting). Smells very much like Lignum Vitae by BeauFort, and a little like Harvest Mouse, also by Zoologist.

To me this is the perfeet Cottagecore fragrance. Out of the bottle I smell more of the green notes. but once it dried on my skin all I could smell was a Lovely spiced biseuit.
