Черное домино (Black Domino)

By the early 80s, there was a ban on animal musks in perfumery. In the 50s, galaxolide was created in Europe, and in the 70s - Isoesuper. All this during the Cold War. Accordingly, I don’t think there was a large-scale exchange of technologies. So Black Domino is the first USSR scent in which I encounter synthetic musk. There is even a talk that it was created precisely at the Northern Lights Factory for the production of this perfume. This scent starts out with a very obvious jasmine and animalic like most Soviet scents of the time, and then slowly starts to turn into a soft clean cloud. And after an hour this smells very contemporary on skin, can be even compared with both the Molecule and the Monoscent - synthetic white musk. Yes, the scent is not very logical in its transformation, but obviously in those years it was convenient for sales to start with familiar notes and end with a new sound. I have never seen anything like this in Soviet perfumery. This is a completely new experience for me.
