Neroli & Petitgrain

In my country, this fragrance is very affordable, and I personally like buying the 15 ml travel size because it’s easy to carry around wherever I go. One of the brand’s main selling points is its focus on natural ingredients, with advertising that emphasizes the use of 100% natural fragrance materials. As for the scent itself, some people who are familiar with Neroli Portofino may find similarities here, and I can understand why. Both fragrances share the classic combination of citrus, neroli, and petitgrain. However, to my nose, the similarity is only around 60–70%. The biggest difference is the prominent lemongrass note. The lemongrass adds a strong aromatic accord that stands out throughout the composition. Because of this, the fragrance feels like much more than just neroli and petitgrain. To my nose, the three dominant notes are neroli, petitgrain, and lemongrass. As a result, this comes across as a more aromatic interpretation of the Neroli Portofino style rather than a direct dupe. I wouldn't consider it a clone at all. An interesting detail appears when comparing it side by side with fragrances that follow the classic Neroli Portofino DNA, such as 4711 Eau de Cologne. You'll notice a subtle sweetness in the base. After checking the note breakdown, I discovered that vanilla is part of the composition, which explains that subtle sweetness. The vanilla also seems to help the fragrance last longer than many other neroli based citrus fragrances. Performance is still moderate overall around 4-5 hours on my skin, with decent projection, but compared to many fresh neroli scents, the longevity is surprisingly good. The vanilla adds a bit of staying power without turning the fragrance gourmand. Overall, I really enjoy this scent. Sometimes it almost feels like aromatherapy to me because of how prominent the lemongrass is. It creates the impression of being in a spa room filled with the scent of lemongrass and citrus diffusing through the air. It's refreshing, relaxing, and very easy to wear. If you're tired of the usual Neroli Portofino style fragrances and want something more aromatic with a unique lemongrass twist, this is definitely worth trying. The price is very affordable, the performance is good, and for a neroli fragrance, I think it's a very good release. 8.2/10

I Blind Buy 200 ML Bottle. It smell Very Green, Bitter Sweet. The Sweetness Combo of Orange, Mandarin Orange & Lemon are well blended together with the Main Notes Petit Grain that makes it Bitter while the White Florals Jasmine, Neroli & Orange Blossoms Calming all Notes. The role of Vanilla gives an aromatic effect. I really enjoyed this fragrance because it is very Green and Fresh. I hope this fragrance lasts forever on my skin ! Long lasting on Clothes but in my skin it is weak.

Love it. Mostly because it reminds me of warm evenings in Thailand when the flowers are at it ́s best. The neroli is lovely. Strong at first but softens maybe a little too fast for my likings since I think the beginning is really something else when you compare it with other perfumes. Turns in to a sweet orange fruity scent and I really like that it ́s natural.

It smells so good I want to pour it in my nostrils. This is late spring/early summer in a bottle, I'm at my auntie and she's proudly showing me the first few flowers on her lemon tree. It's a bright, warm day and a ray of sunshine is hitting the delicate blooms. That's what it smells like. Absolute delight.

Newly bought it today, Wow i really love the neroli,reminds me of tom ford neroli,but this one a bit softer and has a jasmine notes,wow its amazing!!! I really enjoyed the natural scent of jasmine and neroli,, Longevity and perfomance 4-5hours,this is perfect summer fragrance,, Overall 10/10

What it says on the tin: neroli and petitgrain. It's very beautiful and has a calming effect. It lasts a couple of hours with intimate projection.

Wonderful combination - neroli and petit grain, but too short longevity and sillage.

The opening of Néroli & Petit Grain Printanier is all about sweet mandarine and orange blossom, and the deep, intense, bitter green petitgrain, which together make an intriguing pairing of indolic bittersweet. Surprisingly, about 20 minutes in, the fragrance starts to show a strong jasmine, which makes the whole smells distinctively similar to Mugler Alien layered over the caramelised mandarine undertone of orange blossom. This Alien impression eventually fades after about 1 hour, and Neroli & Petit Grain Printanier returns to a fluffy orange blossom skin scent until the end. The sillage is moderate to soft, and the longevity is around 5 hours on my skin. While neroli and petitgrain might lead one to expect a cologne type of fresh, transparent fragrances, Néroli & Petit Grain Printanier actually retains quite some of the natural indolic and sweet aspects of the orange blossom, but is still very approachable and nowhere near as being syrupy or cotton candy-like. I would recommend it as budget-friendly sweet orange blossom or an orange flower twist of Mugler Alien.

I don’t really know if there are different kinds of neroli?? At Fragranticas picture it looks quite different from what my mother told me was neroli, in her flowerpots in the windows wken I was growing up. Very beautiful flowers, looking like very small pionys, of that same pink colour, as well. But I think I recognise the smell; it is very lovely. I don’t think my mother was wrong - she always used to know about flowers and plants. Anyway, I love all of the fragrances from 100 bon; more or less, at least those I have tried. But I haven’t had the money to buy them all, though... I have this one and Eau de the’ & Gingembre. Both being dreamy, romantic, on their own or maybe sometimes combined with something else. Something that Anne of Green Gables would wear. Or, in my case, the dear old Marilla...😉🥰🌱🌿🌸🍃

Very green and very fresh, this fragrance does not blend the differing citrus elements which other fragrances with the same elements achieve. The Neroli (my favourite note of all time) is not sweet and powdery, nor at all light. The Petitgrain smells as though it was just plucked from the tree and the two elements are mashed together; muddled at the bottom of a cocktail glass with tonic water and gin. I am still not sure how I feel about this concoction. It has the greatest longevity of the 100 Bon fragrances, the others only lasting an hour or two at the most. But whether that is a good thing or not, I cannot entirely decide.

This opens as a petitgrain bomb on me, but that fades quite a bit after dry down and then the jasmine becomes prominent. I'm not a big fan of either of these notes in large quantities, but strangely enough, I like this. Maybe it's just the combination of scents balancing out over time, but on me, this is genuinely pleasant. I'm not sure I'd buy a bottle, but I certainly wouldn't turn it down in a swap.

I like white florals in perfumes, but this one is a bit too naturalistic, green and fresh for my taste as a personal fragrance (my husband commented that it smells like it could be a room spray). It is fresh but has a sharp edge to it, and despite it being a cologne of citrus and white floral notes, I do not find it soothing or cooling for a super hot day. By my standard this perfume has very little to no sweetness, longevity is not too bad for a cologne (3 hours or so on me on a super hot day before it disappears) with weak projection. It is a unisex scent to me and I could totally see a guy wearing it.

Goes from bitter/aromatic to citrus to slightly sweet white blossoms fairly quickly. Dries down similarly with sweetness and some petitgrain. Seems to be a unisex ephemeral skin scent suitable for warm temperatures.

Ah it does have jasmine! First spray this is surprisingly 'buttery', not something I expect from neroli. Although neroli is definitely there, not super strong though. That's underpinned by something slightly bland but bitter, which I presume is the petitgrain. And then the butteriness transforms into pure jasmine which is what lingers for the rest of the wearing. I have been wanting to get a nice jasmine for a while so this is a pleasant surprise. I'd classify this as a jasmine scent, not neroli (my all time favourite essential oil). Might get a big bottle.

Bitter, sweet, green, very fresh, very natural. It smells like a beautiful garden at sunset in the springtime. It does not smell like any bottled fragrance the I have ever smelt at all. Its different Too bad it disappears on my skin so fast.

Discovered this in their sampler box from kohls.com. Not much in the way of sillage or longevity, but a beautiful, SOFT neroli while it lasted.

I don't know why but on my skin it was like wearing nothing. I couldn't smell anything after some minutes.
