Higher Peace

I’ve been searching far too long for a fragrance that truly captures the essence of late spring and warm summer days—a scent that evokes the sweetness of green hay drying under gentle, golden breezes. This one wears like a soft, sunlit breeze: comforting, yet delicately bright. Agree with others here, not sensing anything artificial or synthetic...it's very earthy and unisex, in the best way. As someone else noted, with a more generous application, the dry-down is unmistakably reminiscent of violet candy, softened by the faintest hint of woodsy tobacco. While that tobacco doesn’t show up much on my skin, the experience is pure magic—like rolling through freshly dried hay, lightly dusted in powdered violet. I also catch a touch of bergamot (which I always love), and I suspect it’s the Davana adding that blissful hint of fruity sweetness—possibly the note that’s sparking such a nostalgic, Violet candy-like impression. I’m absolutely loving it—and so happy to have found my go-to daytime fragrance from now through mid-September.

This is so gorgeous! I tried it and I ordered it almost immediately. The hay note is so delicious! It reminds me of how the late harvest in New England smells like with all the bundles of hay lying out in the sun. I'm never sure what Davana smells like, but I guess it adds to the entire fragrance that makes me love it. I get some sweetness and the bergamot, never do get much vetiver that I can smell, the cannabis doesn't smell like weed or skunky, in fact it smells like the clean mountain air that I get in another fragrance. It just has a very clean, pristine smell. I don't get any harsh aroma chemicals at all with their entire line of fragrances, and I get about six hours longevity with this one. This and Purple Haze are my favorites from their line, and the two I wear most often from my collection.

Sunny citrus and mild cardamom with an herbal, grassy heart of sweet hay and coumarin, with tobacco rounding out the drydown. This fragrance reminds me a bit of sweetgrass. Like other cannabis notes in perfumes, I find this one's is hempy and herbal, not smoky or skunky. Sits close to the skin with average to below average longevity. Still, I like this as a personal fragrance to wear when my travels take me to the Western US; a scent for big skies, long roads, and open plains.

Surprised by how much I love this scent! It smells like hay drying under the summer sun, like rolling around in a field in the English summer time. Feels very nostalgic to me. It’s sweet and earthy and honestly so beautiful. I’m going through my 19-62 discovery set one by one and this is definitely my favourite so far. It doesn’t have a strong protection but I think it’s a beautiful intimate fragrance.

I love this one! It's so easy to wear and at the same time, very unique. If you ever tried the Polish vodka Zubrowka, this scent will remind you of it. Grassy, soft, aromatic, smooth, harmonious, it's far from conventional types of perfume, but nevertheless highly pleasant and office-proof. Thinking about buying a whole bottle for Spring/Summer 2026.

I absolutely love this soft, warm, diffused fragrance: for me it all tart green green green apple/pear off the top with a dry down that melds into delicious, natural airy tonka and hay.

Fantastic resinous lightly smokey vegetal fruit.

I don't detect any cannabis, but this is a lovely realistic green sappy fragrance. There's something dry, almost floral in the opening that I love (maybe the davana?) I agree with Carpe Noctem's comment that there is not a harsh synthetic note to be found in here; it smells extremely natural and earthy. The citrus note is a little sour but not too much so - I'm reminded of chewing on sourgrass, walking through a hay field. To me this is completely androgynous - not a "sensual" scent but a gorgeous green vegetal one. The opening is incredible, but fades away fast - luckily the drydown is quite nice too (in a more subdued way.) I'm used to this "genre" of scent having unimpressive longevity, so I'm not too mad about that. I find the general bottle design, IG marketing, and weed-themed marketing pretty tacky. These wonderful scents deserve better!

No matter what I try — spraying at different times of day, different spots, varying amounts — there is no trace of this fragrance on my skin after 15 minutes. It’s too bad because it’s one of the more interesting ones I’ve tried. It opens with a vibrant green leafy bounce, lightened by the bergamot, followed by a very quick drydown to hay, marijuana/dirt and something warm, maybe the tobacco and cumarin. Bummer about the weak longevity and sillage.

Was expecting a herbal green scent... On me this fragrance is very warm and sweet. Not sugary but a hefty dose of natural aromatic warmth. I think it must be the coumarin note combined with the hay and tobacco as well. Bergamot and cannabis are non existent to my nose. Was really hoping for a fresh citrusy cardamom opening that faded into a grassy bright cannabis hay scent all grounded in smooth tobacco and coumarin with a hint of cool vetiver for fun. But all I get is that naturally sweet warm hay tobacco coumarin mix. No bad per se but disappointing and not what I was looking for with this scent. Update 6/3/24: After some more sampling I find this scent, especially when heavily applied, reminds me of violet candy. I can't figure out where that comes from based on the notes listed, but that's what I get. Violet candy with a little woodsy tobacco and nothing else. Very strange. Wonder if it's my skin chemistry? No idea...

I received this as part of a discovery set from this house, most of which were pretty awful but this one is sublime. It smells like a perfect summer day . The hay, cannabis and benzoin all hit the right notes along with the bergamot which is not overpowering. I will buy a FB in the spring or summer for sure .

Really beautiful. I also ordered it rather quickly which I don't do that often, but I found a 30 mL version for under $100 so I jumped on it. It's one of those perfumes, for me at least, that inspires a feeling in you- longing, nostalgia, imagined days spent somewhere beautiful. At first I was hesitant that it felt too much like Escentric 05, and there's certainly a familiar fuzzy wooded and musky cashmeran-like quality to it, but it's a little simpler, and ends up more bitter green. I'm also reminded of the soft, comforting base of The Noir 29 by Le Labo, but this has the tobacco turned down and none of the rose. In the air it smells faintly sweet and I'm glad the benzoin doesn't take over to push it further in that sweet, resinous direction. Does it smell like cannabis? I'm not sure if that's the intention but I get something a little sour and almost juicy-green with balsamic undertones. It's an intriguing bridge between a grassy top and the dried, earthy bottom. It rides a fine line right down the middle the whole wear, lightly aromatic, fresh, and oddly comforting in a cuddly way. I'm guessing this sweet, vegetal dryness is from a good amount of coumarin, also found in Hay. The vibe I'm getting is very hazy, early morning humid air scented by fields of dried grasses. I'm curious if Davana as an ingredient is becoming more popular, since searching by notes has a majority of fragrances with it coming out in the last 3 years. Performance is average to slightly below average. edit: After a month or so I still like it, but it's not interesting enough for me to pick it over my other perfumes that often. I wish it leaned into tobacco more, or had a little more contrast and texture going on between the notes. It feels muggy and muted, and makes me think of other musky, grassy perfumes I have that feel a little more alive and sophisticated.

i dont know about this one i got a discovery set by 19-69 but i never really reach for this one, something about the citrus note smells a little offputting on me (which is odd i usually love citrus scents? maybe its something in the combination of the more green herby notes that doesnt sit right with me who knows) could definitely be a great scent for someone else as i do see the appeal

The fragrances of this brand have an artistic concept. The concept of this fragrance is Merry Pranksters who influenced hippie aesthetics during the 1960s. The scent is very green and aromatic but the touch of fresh cardamom gives it an interesting combination. The note of cannabis is an obvious choice to be matched with the concept of the fragrance. It is very unique and creative. 7/10

I’m very unsure about my feelings for this one. There’s kind of a damp earthiness to me, but there’s also some sweetness and brightness poking through. It’s interesting but doesn’t feel like something I’d really want to wear. It’s also pretty weak and doesn’t have much longevity—seems like one you have to spray more generously if you really want the scent to come out on your skin.

Surprised by how much I loved this. Would not have expected to based on the notes AT ALL but ooh! Fresh and intoxicating, more of a champagne effect than weed. Lightly sweet but in the way that fresh cut grass is sweet. Really stunning to me--I put it on before bed, I'll have to give it a proper wear test. I liked the little scent bubble I fell asleep in.

Ultra leafy green and slightly dry aromatic hay scent. Actually quite beautiful and evocative.
