#1155 in my "Tour de Fragrance" 19-69 is off the beaten path for me. Not that widely available. If they do any marketing I've never seen it. I picked up "Miami Blue" and "Capri" on a recommendation from another Fragrantica member and love both fragrances, so I picked up decants of the rest of the line and grabbed this at random this morning. I love it! But I love this kind of fragrance in general. Amouage "Boundless", PDM "Hamdani." I haven't tried 19-69 "Chrisopher Street" yet, so I can't speak to whether it's same-same as one user suggested, but the notes are sure identical. My first thought smelling this was Beaufort London's "Terror and Magnificence" which has the smell of the inside of an old stone cathedral to it. Touring old European cathedrals with an architectural expert (a descendant of Swiss Reformed Church founder Hulderich Zwingli no less) was my favorite term in seminary. I love that peaceful and meditative vibe, and this scent invokes that for me. So I'm probably more disposed to love incensed-oriental-leaning scents than many of you (especially when there's no rose note to make it come off like something grandma would wear). I would have ordered this today but was annoyed to find Lucky Scent doesn't stock this one. I'm happy with the performance here. Long lasting on the skin pretty good projection. What I especially like about this having papyrus as a note is that dry quality makes acceptable business wear. This isn't going to chase anyone from the room at the office as many Orientals will. I got compliments on it first thing this morning and I'd only used a few drops from the vial. I'd be in for a bottle, even at Lucky Scent's prices, but I can't find one right now. But it's on my list. UPDATE: Scent Split had a full bottle of "June 28" and two of "Christopher Street" left and I snagged 'em. Painful price, but worth it to me. FYI Lucky Scent confirmed they're the same fragrance.

Idc that it's not original! This scent is so fucking period

Opens light saffron-pepper, with the papyrus creeping up, and finally then overtaken by the myrrh. The myrrh presentation here really emphasizes on the sweetness and spiciness, almost like a more polite version of the Magnetic Blend 1 profile. I don't really smell any* cade oil in this, must be a small amount, it vaguely smells like an industrial kind of suede. Who knows, I might have a knack for a frag like this, it's not obnoxiously aromatic or sweet, but on a top level it's mainly balsamic + faintly sweet, leaving some room for interpretation. *Later on, the cade oil does make itself known, it gives a smoky, petrol touch, I kinda like this (more) now. Not in a rush to buy a bottle, but nonetheless an interesting, approachable yet smoky frag profile take on MB1. This is also a rename but equivalent to Christopher Street 19-69.

The initial blast is very sweet almost cola like and then out comes the cumin which normally ends up making me smell like body odor but the sweetness sticks around and really calms down the acrid body odor smell of the cumin. Tried this on in store and then on the drive home kept sniffing my wrist still sweet cumin not unpleasant but I don’t know that I really loved it. Got home and took the dog for a walk and it really began to shine about an hour later in the cold. The cumin disappears and there’s a slight woody smoke mixed with the sweet cola really; liked this at the end.

Surprised that I liked this scent as I don’t usually enjoy a lot of spice. This opens very sweet and smoky, a very nostalgic scent to me that reminds me of Bonfire night in a little English village, sipping mulled wine to stay warm. It then dries down to a more leathery, dusty scent but that sweet dark berry scent still lingers, sweetening up the spice. Definitely a night time cold weather sort of scent

I'm surprised nobody's mentioning how castoreum-forward this fragrance is. Perfumers seem so afraid to use it these days, and one would wish more fragrances in which it gets a sensual supporting role. Here, however, it's quite the star of the show.

Nice but it's a smelled before for sure. It's a very typical Middle Eastern type of scent, with leather and saffron. I was even told by the sales person that most people who buy it are...you guessed it, Middle Easterns! I think it's nice to have, but only if you don't have anything else in this genre.

I mostly get Safraleine and Amberwood in this incredibly radiant and tenacious brown fragrance. It would make a powerful room scent, but you best love this smell because there is the possibility spraying it near rugs and furniture will make it permanent. Later on it reminds me of the original formulation of Goutal Ambre Fetiche with that very specific sillage of relentless dark amber. You’ll either love it or hate it. 0 out of 5.

Dirty leather, papyrus and dusty pepper bomb on first spray. It dries down in a few minutes to a warm leather- like the inside a suede-lined purse after spilling the dregs of a gin and tonic inside. I pick up a tobacco or vanilla note, too, though maybe that’s the myrrh/cumin combo. Cold weather, nighttime scent. A bit too one-dimensional leather for me, but great if it’s your thang.

This is Christopher Street renamed. I don't know if this is true, but I heard that they were threatened with a lawsuit and sent a cease and desist from another house with the same fragrance name.

I was just going through my friend’s sample set but had I read the notes first I would not have even sprayed this one. This type of spicy is 100% not for me.

Not what i usually wear but pleasantly surprised by it. Very long lasting. Smells like your older coworker you randomly see at a club after you quit.
